In voting Sunday by the player reps, it took just one ballot for Smith to gain his third three-year term in charge of the NFL Players Association. He beat eight other candidates by immediately getting a majority of the votes at the union's annual meeting in Kapalua, Hawaii. The vote totals were not announced by the union. that's a good move for philly.....he averaged 4.5 yards per carry. behind the same line, oliver 3.6 and brown 2.6 yrds/carry.
