  1. EJ getting any reps is a complete waste of time when those reps could be going to a QB who will be here in 2017. draft a QB in the 1st or 2nd round. sign a F/A QB or draft another QB in 4th. the QB position is not settled. i'm a big TT fan, but who knows how TT will play in 2016 (one year wonder ?) or even be signed for 2017. I know we have lots of other needs (NT, OT, LB) but none more important than the future at QB.
  2. NO......he gets traded or cut. while it might make financial sense to keep him around as the #3, it makes no short or long term sense competitively. time to move on.
  3. open on the road..... at NY Jets
  4. I would use my second round pick (49) on Jaylon Smith. doubt he's still there.
  5. who ? never heard of em

  7. Report: DT Terrance Knighton picks Patriots over Redskins http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/03/31/report-knighton-picks-patriots-over-redskins/ It is a one-year deal worth $4.5 million http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000649387/article/terrance-knighton-signing-oneyear-deal-with-patriots
  8. woods is good, but not great. a solid #3. rather have him than percy. I would still put NT, OT , LB & QB ahead of WR.
  9. would never sign a player with a head injury history .....concussions, migraines, plus percy has had ankle, hip labrum, shoulder, ribs http://sportsinjurypredictor.com/injury-predictor/player/9286
  10. this changes nothing of course SF was not cutting him.....his dead money is $19 mil for 2016 he will be traded
  11. not me...i'm all in on TT......he threw the ball 380 times last year....i've seen enough. 4 years / $60 mil and i'm drafting a QB in the 1st or 2nd round.
  12. looks like he will get his chance....but fail.
  13. TT is a stud and will only get better with a full season of first team reps. if they wait til 2017 he's going to get darn close to $20 mil/year. the only hope for less would be to sign him this year by agreeing to long terms deals with both glenn and Gilmore which would free up the needed cap space. a disaster scenario could be only able to tag one of TT, Glenn & Gilmore.
  14. Report: Clay Harbor will sign with Patriots http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/03/30/report-clay-harbor-will-sign-with-patriots/
  15. #1 - TT gets all first team reps and improves on last season. #2 - team will stop shooting self in foot by committing less penalties. #3 - whoever plays left DE will be an upgrade Conclusion: if everything falls in place we still won't sniff AFC East crown. Pats 12-4 , Bills 8-8 ......again.
  16. there is no "improving" the site lines for the football only ralph....they are already near perfect. any new stadium that is a multi purpose facility (like Lucas Oil Stadium) will only take folks farther away from the action. but the ralph is hardly used here is an Upcoming Events list for Lucas Oil Stadium http://www.lucasoilstadium.com/upcoming-events.aspx
  17. Patriots sign veteran cornerback E.J. Biggers http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/03/30/patriots-sign-veteran-cornerback-e-j-biggers/
  18. All NFL players should be making at least $1 million per year Currently, the league ties minimum salary to experience. For new players, it’s $450,000. For players with 10 or more years of experience, the minimum rises to $985,000. This disparity makes younger players more attractive than older ones, even with the “minimum salary benefit,” a device that provides teams with a salary-cap break on older players with minimum-salary deals, but not a cash break. When it comes to the 29 positions on the 53-man roster that don’t go to offensive and defensive starters, cheaper is usually better. And younger is always cheaper. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/03/29/all-nfl-players-should-be-making-at-least-1-million-per-year/
  19. Biggest remaining roster hole for all 32 NFL teams Buffalo BillsLinebacker It's not even close. After spending to retain left tackle Cordy Glenn and guard Richie Incognito, the Bills didn't have the cap space left to re-sign linebacker Nigel Bradham. Not only do the Bills need to find a replacement for Bradham, but coach Rex Ryan said last week that he needs middle linebacker Preston Brown to "step up" this season. Ryan's defenses have been successful over the years because of linebackers such as Ray Lewis, Bart Scott and David Harris; the Bills don't have anyone like that on their roster. -- Mike Rodak http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/page/32for32x160330/biggest-remaining-roster-hole-all-32-nfl-teams-free-agency-2016
  20. Patriots, Panthers at the top of post-free-agency Power Rankings 21. Buffalo Bills2015 record: 8-8 Voting results: 365 points Post-Super Bowl ranking: No. 18 Stats & Information's take: The Bills don't have much cap space, and it shows. Their two free-agent signings -- safety Robert Blanton and TE Jim Dray -- combined to play 641 snaps last season. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/15064630/patriots-panthers-lead-post-free-agency-nfl-power-rankings
  21. that statement may or may not be true. it may be proven true or false down the road. that blood test may or may not be helpful in any way for return to work issues and may or may not be helpful with CTE. at this point, nobody knows what causes CTE. there are way more questions than answers. just a reminder, Tobacco smoke is made up of more than 7,000 chemicals, including over 70 known to cause cancer (carcinogens)......and yet that industry denied a link for decades. time will tell.
  22. player safety. could possibly be used to help prevent players from coming back to soon from a head injury. players have been known to LIE about their real symptoms and condition in order to get back on the field faster or not be tagged as someone who is prone or more likely to have head issues going forward.
  23. Blood test that can find evidence of a concussion days later is closer to becoming a reality The study involved 600 patients admitted to a trauma center from March 2010 to March 2014. All had suffered some kind of head injury resulting in loss of consciousness, amnesia or disorientation. The researchers drew the participants' blood when they were initially admitted and at regular intervals in the days following to look at how a level of a biomarker known as glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) changed over time. The blood samples showed that GFAP peaked at 20 hours after injury and slowly declined over 72 hours but continued to be detectable for seven days. http://www.msn.com/en-us/health/wellness/blood-test-that-can-find-evidence-of-a-concussion-days-later-is-closer-to-becoming-a-reality/ar-BBr2x95?ocid=spartanntp
