With Joe Brady setting himself up for a possible HC gig, it has gotten me wondering. Who has been the best at the OC role and DC role since the Super Bowl days?

What about worthy’s run blocking compared to Coleman’s? Stats don’t tell you everything.

Samuel looked good in one game earlier in the season. I think more than anything, he has been the odd man out. I think he if we were really banged up again and he we had to start him and rely on him, he would have solid production. As in 3-5 catches, 50-70 yards. I think of him as an overpaid #4 receiver.

It's just too hard to compare eras. Kelly played with significantly better talent than Allen did. The rules were different. It's just too hard to compare. Athletes are much bigger, faster, coaches are better, schemes are most sophisticated. I'd rather say Kelly was a Top 3-5 QB in his era. Allen has been a Top 2-4 qb in his era.

In that case we should give Elam some more run. He and Benford being drafted in the same year and starting together is a bonus.

These last few drives have been too easy for the Lions. I am getting concerned.

I have to change my opinion. This is the best Bills team of the McDermott/Josh era . My reasons in order. 1) Josh has cut down on the turnovers. Remember when he would always turn the ball over when he would run. Not to mention picks. These have all been reduced. 2. We have a great squad of running backs. 3. I think Joe Brady has done the best job of coordinating the offense. He has been better than Daboll and Dorsey. He's creative, he keeps a balanced attack and he uses personnel the best. 4. Mcdermott has grown. This is the first year McD has been the true CEO style of coach, and it has resulted in better decision making. 5. Our offensive line is the best it has been and it's deep.

We lost because the game was on Fox. We are a CBS team.
