  1. Metal.. people either love it or hate it. Most hate it. haha I'd stick with something more mainstream.. Chili Peppers or something
  2. If we're a good team we should win at least 3 of those games. If we can stop the run we'll have a good shot against SF and HOU.
  3. Losman won 7 games in 2006. Fitz hasn't exactly proved that you can "win somewhat" with him.. not sure where you're going with that?
  4. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Bills-release-Moorman-re-sign-Powell/75b1cdb0-79c4-4e66-af5b-270751e48097 From the team website.
  5. I agree that Fitz gives us the best chance to win this year. I just don't know if thats enough to get us to the Superbowl. I think all three of the guys you named have potential to be very good QBs in the NFL and are obviously at a very different point in their careers. Its not worth while to speculate, but who knows who else the bills could have picked up with the additional picks they would have received for trading down.
  6. Zoltan Mesko (NE) was actually 3rd in the league last year with a net average of 41.5 yards.. he's one of the best punters in the league right now.
  7. Well I can only speak for myself when I say that I haven't said he played horrible in week 2 or 3. I cant say I saw anyone stating that either. Do you realize that we likely could have traded that #3 overall pick for the #10 overall pick and another 1st and 2nd rounder? Of course I'm not suggesting they should have taken either of them at #3. But we certainly could have moved up or down to grab a QB.
  8. I agree with you that he is out best option right now. However, you say he doesnt lose many games by himself.. of course no one loses games by themselves.. but when you play like he did in the jets game you dig a deep hole for your team. I dont hate Fitz, I just don't think the bills can win a superbowl with him at QB. I personally, would like to see them draft a young QB to develop. They passed on guys like Jake Locker and Christian Ponder who I would have loved to see the bills draft.
  9. Has this been confirmed?
  10. Exactly.. thanks for the help I really cant quantify it for you if thats what you're looking for. Having a good arm implies you can throw the ball far and throw the ball accurately.
  11. You cant be a hall of famer on just a good arm. But you certainly cant be a hall of famer if you dont have a good arm. How does what I said make me an idiot? I wasn't a fan of Ryan Mallett.. Dont get me wrong, an important part of being a QB is being smart and having good leadership skills.. but you still need to be able to make the throws. What % of importance would all of you assign passing to a QBs game?
  12. Unfortunately the "passing" part makes up about 75% of a QB.
  13. Wow.. crazy how much higher Asomugha is than everyone else. I'm glad we have corners who can play physical.
  14. Guilty. But I am absolutely a bills fan.
  15. He's gonna have to carry the load against the Pats this weekend like he did last year.. Lets go Fitz you can do it.
  16. Yes, Brady has missed an easy throw in his life. But he doesn't miss them very often and certainly doesn't miss them as often as fitz and other QBs do. You're playoff analysis of the QBs is fine, but there are a couple of issues. 1) All of the "bad" QBs that made the playoffs had elite defenses behind them. The bills at this point, do not. 2) Bad QBs may make the playoffs, but they very rarely win superbowls. The goal of any team should be to win the championship.. Not just make it to the dance.
  17. Well to be fair.. 3 of those QBs are likely future hall of famers and 1 is a rookie. Fitzpatrick's history lends itself to pessimism.
  18. Really applies here.. thanks
  19. It can be an excellent play from a defender, but the QB still could have thrown the ball in a way that it could not have possibly been tipped. It has nothing to do with Fitz. Thats why when you see a QBs throw get batted down at the line, the QB often will show signs of being frustrated with himself for missing an opportunity. Not sure if you're referring to me or not?
  20. The thing with this hit is that it was completely unnecessary. Tate could have bumped Lee and that would have been just as effective.
  21. I'm not sure if you've read any of my posts in this thread or if you're just looking at one and writing this.. if you look back through the thread you'll see I do provide facts, statistics and actually plays from the game to back up my argument. Why don't you catch up before you jump in and start criticizing people blindly. I do trust you on this but I don't think it really changes much. Fitz still should have thrown the ball earlier and when a ball gets tipped at the line, it is still the fault of the QB.
  22. Thank you for the visual example haha. So the fact that he completed less than 60% of his passes and missed badly on a few easy throws means nothing? I'm not saying that Fitz had a bad game. I'm just saying that he still has some issues. I'm not exactly sure what you're criticizing me for.
  23. I do think he was fine as far as his stewardship in the second game. He certainly did not make any major mistakes. However, I dont recall seeing the extraordinary throws you're referring to, unless our opinion differs on the definition of the word. He did make some plays, but he also missed some opportunities. And you're right, I cant say he wouldnt have played well under different circumstances, I'm just judging what I saw. You're right, Brady probably has missed an easy throw every once in a while, but no where near as much as Fitz does.
