  1. I have mentioned my elderly mom on this board before. She lost her battle with dementia this afternoon. She had turned 95 on 9/1. She was a widow since 1990 when my dad died at 60. She had shown slight signs in her late 80s, but her mobility was greatly reduced when she broke a foot about 4 years ago. She was able to be by herself until almost 3 years ago, when she caught pneumonia and then needed constant supervision. She declined slowly and her doctor referred her to Hospice (angels on earth) in April. They were coming every 2 weeks and then weekly, and after her birthday, she quickly went downhill. We called them Sunday and had them check her vitals that were OK. They were scheduled to come today, but we asked them to come earlier in the day if possible. They did and provided her oxygen at 3 or 4. She passed about 6:50. At home and in bed like she wanted. If you are younger, cherish every moment with your parents. We only have so much . She helped me when I has in trouble and I was glad to help her out now in this part of her life.
  2. Its all just your excrement.
  3. Wow look at that diabolical smile on his face.
  4. CA is run by commie democrats. Haven't lived there since 2014 and can bet I have voted in every election since.
  5. Obviously a democrat, so there is no way there could be voter fraud.😉
  6. Hollywood films so much outside Ca and the US. Have been doing so for years. Don't you realize that most of Star Wars was filmed in England. Number 2 being the important phrase.
  7. odds are he killed her. when Scott Peterson said his pregnant wife disappeared on Christmas eve while he was fishing 90 miles away in SF bay, I immediately figured he killed her. She was somewhere between Modesto and SF bay there are myriads of places he could have dumped her where she would not have been found for a long time. the easiest conclusion is usually the right one.
  8. fraud has been going on in CA elections for years. about 15 years ago in the local election, the guy ahead of me in line went to sign the register and someone had already signed and voted as him. this was for town offices,. no fed or state seats were up for election.
  9. Party uber alles.
  10. Get the shot. People don't blink about a flu shot.
  11. If Joe lived in my neighborhood and I had kids, I would report him to the cops.
  12. Tibs, read Margaret Samger's own words, She was a eugenicist.
  13. Well, Pedo Joe brought up Corn Pop and the kids feeling his legs at the pool.
  14. Party pooper. Have done it in SF, Oakland, Seattle, Phoenix and Buffalo. Tradition!
  15. She's a commie.
  16. Read the article. It said it is temporary (this year) because of COVID. Ken says he is fine. I think that he should make people do the bowling ball shots. That Polish cherry liqueur he uses can kill anything, including COVID.😀
  17. Can change by Sunday. Depending on the wind direction, could get more rain if if actually does rain. For example in July, the Tonawandas got 7 inches in about 2 days, while in Cheektowaga, we got about a tenth of an inch. This AM, the sky was perfectly cloudless from Cheektoeaha north, but in the southtowns they had clouds that looked like lake effect. They were predicting lake effect rain for the southern half of the county. The situations were like what causes lake effect snow (difference in water and air temps), but it is much too warm for snow (low 70s today). They did spot a waterspout off Ripley (by the PA state line) this morning.
  18. Governor is backing a racist. Has her as his avatar.
  19. "Planned Parenthood" , the biggest killer of black children in the country.
  20. The stadium side of the bridge was on county land and they removed ir.
  21. The judge said if someone writes in Brown now, the write in vote won't count. With the signs I saw for Brown in SOUTH BUFFALO (basically every lawn) he will win. People don't want a communist light (socialist) as mayor.
  22. You are about the only one posting ib the Lincoln Project thread.
  23. Had a HS classmate that was an audiologist at the Pentagon. She got a commendation for helping people on 9/11.
  24. Live in Cheektowaga in the house I grew up in . Mom turned 95 Wednesday and has dementia. Hospice comes around weekly (we live only a mile from their HQ). Since you are familiar with Dunkirk, you are familiar with the snow belts. Recently, Hamburg, Blasdel, Cheektowaga. West seneca, Depew, Lancaste and Clarence have been the hardest hit. We had 7 feet in 2014, but the town hall 2 miles away had only 6 inches and the airport had none.
  25. The SF Giants play Don't Stop Believing at the 7th inning stretch. Steve Perry is a season ticket holder and sits in the outfield. When it starts playing, he gets up and starts lip synching to it. Really gets the crowd pumped up.
