  1. So you're suggesting that T.T may have been on it?
  2. Objectively speaking, I think most people would concede that if you are a Bills player you are bummed that your potentially star receiver and solid DB have been traded. These are personal connections that they've made with one another, I mean I'm sure you guys read all the comments of the Philly players missing and being bummed about Matthews leaving. At the same time, they are all professionals and I'm pretty sure that they understand that this is the nature of the business.
  3. No, I'm pretty sure it is your thing.
  4. I have a hard time believing that Kyle ever feels sorry for himself.
  5. Jerry Hughes is a high emotion guy. Cuts both ways with emotions, you get the intensity on the field that is great and then you get the bonehead 15 yard penalties. With him you take the bad with the good.
  6. I agree, unless they can see that this franchise is without doubt going in the wrong direction they have to give them a minimum of 4 years.
  7. And I sincerely doubt that the majority of the alt-right protesters have a strong understanding of Robert E. Lee. It was just an excuse for them to go out and seek some attention. Mission accomplished
  8. The best way to make them irrelevant is to ignore them. However, since we have a press that is more interested in fomenting division and sensationalism, I'm afraid all this will do is help these goofballs gain more support. And the reason why Trump didn't specifically call them out is because they are part of his voting coalition. I'm guessing that there are plenty of people who are sympathetic with the concerns of the alt-right. They may not be card carrying members but all one has to do is go in the comments section under many online publications to see that there are quite a few that are jazzed up about this. On the flip side, BLM and antifa both are nearly as hateful of a group as these clowns They deserve each other
  9. Interesting question. Let's try it this way; here is my question: What is wrong with Sammy Watkins that the Bills would not only trade him for a DB coming off a bad year, and only get a 2nd round pick? Whats wrong with him then? Why are the Bills so eager to get rid of him if he is such a well liked and talented WR?
  10. Take it for what it is worth; You cannot reason with the unreasonable
  11. No! Not an acceptable answer.
  12. You are either all in on Sammy who will end up being the next Julio Jones or you are an "Anti Sammy lap dog" There is no middle ground!!!
  13. I think Zay Jones will mainly play outside, but I wonder where Matthews will play? I know some posters here seem to think that he will be on the outside but he hasn't really produced at a high level from the outside, I would think that he mainly would be in the inside with Boldin on the outside. Then again, I imagine these guys will all be mixing and matching a lot throughout the season so it really doesn't matter how they start off the game. And in regards to Peterman, I'm glad that he's taking 2nd team snaps.
  14. That's fine, if the argument that was out there was balanced and true to what the real calculus was about. Potential to be an elite WR in this league VS. durability issues and $17M + price tag They made the determination that they didn't believe he was going to be worth that price over the long-term for whatever reason it may be, so they decided to try to get as much value as they could from him. I think the vast majority of Bills fans will miss that homerun ability that he had. It sucks that we won't be able to see him play considering that he very well may be fully healthy. But I get it, I totally get where McD/Beane are coming from, they aren't sold on him and they decided to move forward without him. And that is the bottom line. You can dislike the decision as you stated earlier but this was the calculus.
  15. That's fine, you can use that as part of your rationization as part of the argument to keep him. But it still doesn't take away from the fact that this argument that you are providing is based off of potential parralels. I believe that if SW remained healthy he would be a pro bowl WR. I'm not convinced yet that he'd be top 3, but definitely top 7. The point is that many of the Opponents of the trade fail to acknowledge his durability issues as being part of the calculus in trade
  16. Everyone gets that he is an elite level talent but we can't begin to have an honest discussion unless you recognize his durability issues and lack of overall production. And then combine that with what he most likely he will be commanding on the open market. Some of you just want to sweep it under the rug as if this isn't a concern and then go on pretending as if he has already realized his potential and it's a given that this will be the case moving forward. Durability matters, and that is part of the calculation that any responsible GM should take into account when evaluating the player. You can disagree with the judgement of the GM, but to not recognize the merit and the logic of the decision is lacking in thought
  17. Where did you hear this? I'd do it
  18. I'm not sure if you are pretending to not acknowledge Watkins history of injuries and not superstar WR production or if you somehow know somerhing that we dont in that Watkins will indeed live up to his potential
  19. No way they spend $10m on Matthews, unless he has a career year and even then it would be a stretch. However, I wouldn't be surprised if someone was willing to pay close to that amount, Woods got $8m and Matthews is a clear step above him.
  20. How was it "informative"? It was pure speculation that didn't quote a single person behind the thinking or even connected to the thinking of the trade.
