  1. What was Benoit's grade on Josh Allen and Josh Rosen last year?
  2. Found this in Buffalo News today, tracks closely with what I was saying: Singletary's selection came at a time some Bills fans were hoping their team may add a wide receiver. Beane addressed why, to this point in the draft, the team hasn't done that. "We had some guys, but they were not as high as Cody in the second, and then I think you saw there was a run on receivers," he said. "Our next pick was Devin and by then there was nothing available that we thought the value fit to what Devin could do for us. "We followed the board. He was sticking out and he was the best player on the board. You've got to follow that."
  3. I think there is a good chance Nsekhe starts at LT.
  4. Singletary isnt a "gadget" RB. He Carries the rock often, in between the tackles, incredibly elusive and breaks tons of tackles who finds the endzone extremely often. That is not a gadget back by any sensible definition. And Knox is not a project TE. He has elite athleticism for the position who can block and catch who happened to play with DK Metcalf, AJ Brown and another guy who will be an NFL pro, not to mention the QB kinda stunk. He was misused.
  5. Maybe they believe Singletary has the makings of being a good starting RB in the league. Maybe they believe he will be a better pro than Ridley. If that's what their evaluation shows which I would assume it does, then you trust the board that you drew up.
  6. Couldnt agree more. I've been making the exact same points for a while now. This is what a real GM with a vision looks like.
  7. Hes got that Shady ability to run through people without getting touched. Nightmare to tackle 1 v 1. Super shifty and elusive, good acceleration but lacks top end speed. Good balance and can break tackles. I think we will carry 4 rbs, probably will have Yeldon play special teams?
  8. This is how I see it playing out
  9. Worked up? You guys are the ones who are "getting worked up". This reputation of being a douche is not something that is new, so let's not pretend this is some out-of-right-field criticism. And no, I wasnt. My posting history proves that.
  10. Kingsbury is the new coach, he is coming in with the pretense that he is the 2nd coming of Mcvay and he is getting the QB he wants. This is not a defense of Kingsbury. He very well may end up failing in spectacular fashion. His decision with not giving Josh more of a chance may also be a huge mistake. But that's not the point. The point I'm making is from a philosophical standpoint. New regime should have the leeway to do things their way. If not, they are hamstringed from following through with their vision.
  11. The cards brought in a new regime and that regime wants to do things their way and not be hamstringed with a QB they dont believe in. There is nothing wrong with that. That's what Beane and McD did, they came into presented and sold Pegula their vision, which meant a household cleaning of players and salaries they didnt like. That was their vision and Pegula have them the breathing room and time to follow through with it. The Cards didnt do Rosen dirty. That's business. They dont owe him anything. New management, new vision, new direction. It may not be fair that Rosen only had one year to prove himself to the Cards and that he and others believe that he was limited with a porous supporting cast. That may be all well and true but a new regime came in, they clearly didnt believe in Rosen and they decided to move on from him. Nothing wrong with that at all. If you didnt believe in a player and you had the luxury of the #1 overall player in the draft and you believed in the guy you could draft more so than Josh, what would you do? Just give the guy you dont believe in another year simply because you didnt want to be "unfair" to him? No, of course not. And the fact that he unfollowed them is yet another example of Josh being the douchebag that most people know him to be. This excuse of " well, they drafted another QB so he has a right to do that" is laughable. Yeah he has a right to do that and NFL fans have a right to have their views of his doucheyness be reaffirmed. And to my knowledge when he did this He was still employed by the Cardinals. The best thing he should do is if he is still with the Cardinals, beat Murray out so badly during training camp and preseason, that Kingsbury would have to start him. But no, he pulls an immature move as if he was a woman scorned and unfollowed them. And if you dont think that counts against him with a number of clubs decision makers and goes straight to their player profile of him, then you dont know how management works. I can assure you that other clubs are paying attention.
  12. I think Rosen is going to have to update his infamous draft day quote to " There were TEN mistakes ahead of me"
  13. Depends. If there is a player left up on the board that they have graded out a cut above the rest you try to trade up. If not, you trust your board and let the player come to you. With that said, I would imagine there will be a run on receivers beginning soon so a WR. Maybe Irv Smith. Or maybe Chase Winnovich or an Olinemen and there are a few tackles that are intriguing. And I know people will go crazy but good DBs are available as well.
  14. I will say this, and this is not a defense of their selection of Daniel Jones but if you believe that you have found what could be your franchise QB, no matter what the "value" charts say, you got and get him. So in that regards, picking a QB that many analysts view as a reach and sticking to your convictions is the right move. Again, this is not a defense of the selection of Daniel Jones, but a defense of the philosophy of getting the QB your organization has pegged as the best available franchise QB.
  15. Stick to the board. Get the best player that has the best possibility of having a good NFL career.
  16. At least you guys are getting the NFL Network, much to my dismay when I clicked on the NFL Network channel, it redirected me back to ESPN. Come to find out, NFL Network and ATT Uverse are in a dispute and NFL Network has been taken off.
  17. Joe, his strength has been against the run. You've seen enough football to know that many of the tackles made from Defensive linemen doesnt come mainly when they overpower the offensive linemen, they usually come about either when the D-linemen either uses their quickness, hand technique, strength or a combination of these things. Kyle William's didnt make a name for himself by overpowering his opponents, because in fact when linemen did get their paws on him, more often than not he was washed away. The thing is he used his hand technique, quickness and craftiness to disengage or penetrate behind the line of scrimmage. That's Oliver's game, hes going to be a nightmare one on one matchup, they will be forced to double team him and that will allow other players to make plays. The dude is going to make tons of TFL's. You can bank on it.
  18. He will make whatever team that drafts him very happy. Dude plays faster than any other prospect, monstrous production and absolutely torched 1st round pick Deandre Baker from UGA.
  19. Elite, Elite athleticism. Look at that speed, explosion and strength.
  20. Not to mention Quinnen William's with the Jets
  21. Dont cry Dry Your eye Oliver will end up being the better player.
  22. Dude knows what's up. Stoked to have a player that WANTS to be a Bill!
  23. Quinnen William's, Bosa and Oliver were the top three guys I wanted. I'm ecstatic with this pick, gives us just what we needed, an extremely gifted super twitchy, high motor, disruptive guy who can get to the QB. Fantastic
  24. The rich have plenty of options and the poor have nothing to take, so it’s always the middle class that pays. Always. . 50P That has always been my biggest criticism of the ACA. The poor do well with the law, very well. The rich, well they are rich so they are fine. It's those that don't have employer plans that are in the middle class that are getting screwed.
