  1. WTF? Didn't wait very long.
  2. It's going to be Spiller, whether we like it or not.
  3. Well, whose the pick?
  4. Me too (although I'm only kind of watching)
  5. I don't think it's going to take Seattle long to make this pick...
  6. ... and Okung to the Chiefs...
  7. The Redskins have done what the Bills couldn't: The signed a big name championship winning head coach, they traded for a pro bowl quarterback and now they have bolstered their weak offensive line. Very strong offseason
  8. If the Bills could get Haynesworth for a 4th or 5th round draft pick, they would be idiots not to do it. Something tells me it would take more than that.
  9. +1 Why would the Bills need to do anything? Just look at how good they are with the personnel they have. Wait...
  10. Some of these guys can still play. I think that people are underestimating what McNabb and Shanahan will do for players like Moss, Owens and Portis.
  11. Except that it would leave Maybin and Kelsay as the Bill's outside linebackers and primary pass rushers.
  12. I'd actually be more worried about Ducasse's and Iupati's scores because they are linemen, which is a more complex position than RB (spoken as an ex-lineman). I'm not looking too hard at the Wonderlic for RBs... run to daylight.
  13. My thoughts as well. McKelvin has more big play potential but isn't as solid overall. I think McKelvin will be on a short leash so he better come to training camp ready.
  14. That was his brother Leroy. Levi was the one that kept getting the ball yanked away on field goal attempts by that b#$%! Lucy.
  15. This. What's the harm in bringing him in? If he stinks, then he is cut. If not, then he earns a place on the roster. The Bills aren't going to give up draft picks or anything for him. Same goes for Campbell. Bring one of them in. Unless, of course, you think that the QB position is so solid that there's no chance anyone could improve it ...
  16. Bruce Smith is already the greatest pass rusher of the sack stat era, no question, but the objective of football is to win not get Bruce as many sacks as possible. Reggie was a better overall DE because he was dominant against both the run and the pass, could play multiple positions on the line and won a championship.
  17. The Bills designed their defense around Smith. I remember the Bills doing a lot to free up Smith in passing situations from moving him around (I even remember him playing over the nose in some packages) to bringing in Bennett and Paup to play the opposite side. Smith basically played like a 4-3 DE. He was the primary rusher on his side, not Talley. I doubt that he would've done any better in another defense. He might have had more sacks in a blitz happy defense like the 46 but I doubt he could've had any more impact on the game than he had with the Bills.
  18. You guys make some good points here. All of this reminds me of Greg Williams with the air horn at his first training camp.
  19. Was it better than Jeff George's workout?
  20. Overtime. Games can't end in a tie in the post season.
  21. How dare the Bills GM go to bed! The Bills need to hire a co-GM that can be on the job from 8pm to 8am. That way they can literally be working around the clock.
  22. Was this ever explained? Why was Jauron not in the photo? If he was erased, then why? Other players who were released are still there.
  23. Maybe, but when you consider that it usually takes at least 2 or 3 years for a QB to develop into a high quality starter I'd want to try and get him on our roster ASAP. Besides, after reading the CBS sportsline story on the Bills it looks like our OL is pretty solid
  24. Actually, how about a bottle of Malbec? Quite good...
