  1. Something tells me that the Bills have as much chance to be on Hard Knocks as they do in hosting a Super Bowl.
  2. As cap strapped as they are, why? A cornerback?
  3. Neither are deep threats at all. Woods is a good blocker and Hogan is a good special teams player but as wide receivers, they are both average NFL players at best. I think the Bills could probably use the prototypical big, deep threat WR as a #2- just like most teams. But with the salary cap you have to choose and I would rather spend the picks and money on defense or OL at this point.
  4. Would be awesome for the fans to see the team on hard knocks. This team isn't going anywhere with Rex anyway so what's the harm?
  5. I think it was just timid, not stupid. He said that he wasn't vocal enough which is why they put Manny Lawson at MLB for the last couple of games.
  6. A run heavy team like Buffalo may get an average of 200 to 250 yards per game passing. If you want Sammy to be your main weapon and average 80 to 100 ypg then you are left with 150 yards or so between all the other receivers and backs. So 50 yards per game for Clay is probably what you'd expect, which is only slightly more than he provided last season.
  7. Mario has to be cut. If one of your highest paid players and one you'd expect to be a leader can mail in half the season while criticizing his coaching staff to the media, and still be rewarded with a contract extension then you have no chance. And I wouldn't worry too much about Mario going to New England. He's not their type of player and they don't really need him on defense.
  8. I see someone blaming everybody but himself for the defensive problems. The only time he takes responsibility is when he's joking. But the questions will go away if he gets them to play well and makes the playoffs. Until then he will have to deal with them.
  9. Rex comes in, promises the moon, delivers bupkis and then makes a bunch of excuses. What's not to love?
  10. He is definitely full of excuses. Of course I've read studies that indicate that people who believe that failures were caused forces outside of their control have a tendency to be more successful than people who internalize them and believe that they're due to their own shortcomings.
  11. This is what I'm wondering. Seems like Chip Kelly's system would fit him very well.
  12. You mean like Dick Jauron? Beat me to it. The nice thing about this season is that no one is listening to the Rex Ryan BS. He is either going to win on the field or he will be gone. It doesn't matter what he says.
  13. Exactly. Plus I think he is a very poor locker room presence. Better to use the money somewhere else. Could be as well. Him quitting last season can't look too good on film to prospective buyers.
  14. As long as the tickets are cheap, there's plenty of space to bring in the beer and there's a trough to piss in, Bills fans are good. Hog heaven.
  15. In the words of Rocky Balboa: "Time takes out everybody. It's undefeated."
  16. That's pretty good, but Goodwin getting hurt while taking a knee on a kickoff return is pretty good too. We'll call it a tie.
  17. Except that Harvin has shown that when he's healthy and focused, he's a very, very explosive WR and a legitimate #2 if not co-#1. Goodwin hasn't really shown anything so far in his career.
  18. Except that it has been legalized in 17 states for medical use and 4 more for recreational use. 21 states out of 50, and the list is growing.
  19. Strange statement, when I'm the one who volunteered to "pay my share" and you're the one who doesn't want to do anything to the stadium so that they will keep prices as cheap as possible, hoping I assume that the Pegulas continue to spent their money to subsidize the team at a loss. You are the one counting on handouts. I've been to games at half a dozen different professional football venues and my anecdotal experience has been that Buffalo's is by far the least "family friendly" environment I've encountered. Meaning that it was the one where I was most likely to be exposed to drunken fans, abusive language and trash/drinks being spilled on spectators. Maybe building a new stadium won't change this and there are other solutions but the efforts they've made so far haven't really done all that much, IMO.
  20. Who has the pitchforks? Charles Clay huh?
  21. Same thing people here said about Posluszny. Good thing the Bills got rid of him!
  22. Let me guess, you had to walk uphill both ways to your one room school house in the snow when you grew up and turned out just fine.
  23. Exactly. Not a good fit at all. Forget that he's had 4 sacks total the past two seasons.
  24. It was Tim Hightowers turn.
  25. As opposed to the unique "character" of the Ralph? Lol
