  1. If ANYONE spots a Bills inflatable helmet with the new design, let me know!
  2. Michael Vick didn't need to throw those two balls into coverage, and Avant fumbled TWICE, which is rare for any receiver. The Patriots have been masterful at taking what we did first meeting and neutering us the second. Teams in the NFL adjust to what their opponent is doing, and therefore when teams don't make the really bad throw or hold onto the ball, then our defense will be up against it. All I can say is games 6-16 and beyond (?) will tell the tale. What happened in the Cincinnati game when a rookie QB marched the ball down the field? Sometimes they came up big when needed... and if you've been playing attention, our turnovers have stemmed not from pressure, but a distinct plan to jump up and bat balls down and to try and force fumbles. Pressure on the opposing QB has been few and far between...
  3. You are trying to complain about a guy who still thinks Tony Romo is an elite quarterback and can win a championship? He's not worth wasting time over... the guy just can't seem to fathom that some players, despite their ability, just can't deliver the goods, or teams without many stars can actually win.
  4. What happens when the other teams fails to oblige in giving us a turnover, are we to expect McKelvin or Corner looking back to see Vincent Jackson, Wes Welker, Santonio Holmes or (if we do make the playoffs) Anquan Boldin catching touchdown passes? The turnovers aren't luck obviously, but the other team avoiding turnovers through execution makes our defense extremely vulnerable.
  5. Yay Aaron Maybin, officially the worst draft pick of the 00's after Mike Williams
  6. Searching while we give up 450 yards and have a -4 turnover ratio and only win by 7? That's not searching, that is playing a most dangerous game... but I'm so glad you aren't coaching the Bills or playing the games... so glad, or we'd never improve.
  7. I am TOTALLY with you. What does this team do on defense when the turnovers dry up, because eventually they will? A lot of it has to do with the work we have to finish on defense, to bring in more talent to supplement what we have. This year is great, but to win a championship building on years like this is crucial to moving forward. Let the Sunshine People tell you and I that this season is the greatest and we're totally awesome and we'll be 10-6 and that's just peachy, but when it comes down to it the coaches and players know that only the Super Bowl will do. I will enjoy this season, but only knowing that there is more work to be done. 2011=1988, and to get to 1990 we're climbing the mountain, Edwards' Arm! GO BILLS!!!!!!!!
  8. GOOD! Keep saying the other team is bad and we just won the game. I'll take it!!!
  9. Ryan Fitzpatrick (LOCK) Fred Jackson (LOCK) Nick Barnett (POSSIBLE) Eric Wood (DARK HORSE) This is after all the Pro Bowl, where only the best teams get the gaudy selection numbers. With Manning gone, and if we keep winning, this should be the list for all NON-replacement selections.
  10. No one puts a gun to your head and forces you to read threads critical of the game!!!!
  11. We traded away Lee Evans, signed a guy who can't catch anything, and have a couple of receivers hurt. Why not? Come on, man!
  12. Philip Rivers is a highly competitive quarterback and talks trash on the field, but arrogant? No- he is programmed to be a quarterback and is a coach's son.
  13. Jay Cutler... he's probably the most arrogant player I have seen playing today. He is like Jeff George, a guy who has such great physical talent, but cannot get past his own personality. Truly a waste...
  14. Ahh, NOW I see why you said that... I can agree on that point if we had someone who was to be impeached for terrible crimes or something like that. In that case it could be possible.
  15. I had no idea... and yet we continue to let these kinds of people dominate our politics.
  16. No, it is just the truth, that's all... wackos just end up embarrassing themselves (or worse) when engaging in this stuff.
  17. So now the video is no longer available thank to Darth XOS... MFers.
  18. That's a part of the DREAM Act they tried to pass in Congress but it failed. They are trying to make illegal immigrants legal by giving them opportunities, i.e. grants and military service for a path citizenship. However, they expect people to pay for it rather than having the illegals pay for it themselves- in essence, they get rewarded by the government openly for breaking the law, unlike citizens of this country.
  19. I just don't get it, to be sure... when you think about it, everyone should get a grant BEFORE illegal immigrants! This guy Gilbert Cedillo really makes me laugh: "The signing of now both parts of the California Dream Act will send a message across the country that California is prepared to lead the country with a positive and productive vision for how we approach challenging issues related to immigration," Cedillo said in a statement. How is that productive, teaching people that you can break the law and get paid for it? I'll tell you what is productive- having them pay for their own education to help with the costs in keeping them healthy and in a country where they get other services for nothing. What's next, pay for their gas? bus fare? cable and internet?
  20. What is the matter with California? They are bound and determined to tax their citizens into oblivion AND give their money away to illegals. Truly a place where the worst Democrats in the country reside... congrats, losers. "Undocumented immigrant students in California will be able to receive state-funded financial aid in 2013 to attend college, under a new law signed Saturday by Gov. Jerry Brown. The law allows top students who are on a path to citizenship to apply and receive the state aid, the governor said. About 2,500 students are projected to receive Cal Grants totaling $14.5 million, according to the California Department of Finance. That averages out to $5,800 per student. The funding amounts to 1% of the overall $1.4 billion Cal Grant program, officials said." http://www.cnn.com/2011/10/08/us/california-dream-act/index.html?hpt=hp_t1
  21. Rush Limbaugh survives because of his sponsors. This is why I never, ever support his sponsors, which have included Auto Zone, Oreck, 21st Century, and Sleep Number.
  22. I think after talking to him he realized that you weren't a bandwagon fan... 15 years of hell and coming out the other end to this season so far is survival of the fan. It's cool.
  23. I am looking to get tickets now that I have a 3 day weekend...!!!!! I NEED tickets... best available for Rock Pile and below are $170 apiece.
  24. At least they have the Pistons' championship to enjoy... I haven't enjoyed any of that- in 1979 I was a small kid with the Bucs won it all, and since then it is a big doughnut. As cities go, if you're a Buffalo fan, only Cleveland and Seattle make it all better.
  25. In 1996 I was 23, and and so I grew up with a mixed bag of failure and success, but if you are still here after the past 15 years going strong, regardless of what happened from 1990-1994, then you most certainly aren't a bandwagon fan.
