  1. I would rank the AFC currently: 1. Patsies ******** 2. Cincy 3. Bills 4. KC 5. Denver (Pitt woulda been 3rd but it's hard to put them in the top 5 w/o Ben...and yes Denver beat KC but I still think KC is the better overall team).
  2. Agreed. I wanted chip to succeed bc i like seeing college coaches make the jump to the NFL and be successful. But hes really making it difficult to root for him.
  3. 2010 Bills ranked 28th in pts/game against (26.6) 2011 Bills ranked 30th in pts/game against (27.1) 2012 Bills ranked 26th in pts/game against (27.2) 2014 Bills: 18.1 pts/game against 2013 Bills: 24.2 pts/game against It's not a coincidence we had our first winning season in forever last season when a QB not named Brady/Rodgers/Manning doesn't have to put up close to 30pts a game just to get a win. Fitz is what he is IMO: sometimes good; sometimes bad; overall - average. If the Jets are able to run the ball effectively and the defense plays at a top 10 level there is a very real chance they could finish 9-7/10-6 with Fitz at QB.
  4. the 2011 Bills had a defense that was atrociously bad, ranking 30th in pts/game (over 27/game). The Jets might very well end up in the top 10 this season, defensively. It'll be interesting to see how he does. Primary difference I see between Fitz's time here and after him leaving is that we now have a defense. What would our W/L record have been last season if we had to score 27-30 pts/game on offense?
  5. My enjoyment had we beaten him would have been greater than if we had beaten Jimmy G. So Brady tore us a new one? Meh. He also tore the Steelers a new one week 1 and look how they bounced back week 2.
  6. I like Bowels and Chan, but I hate NYJ fans so much - 2nd only to pats fans.
  7. Bills 27 Fins 17 Dareus has a dominating game.
  8. Yeh I'd agree too. Solid was understating it.
  9. I agree. What was it 2010 when he took the Jets to the AFC Championship game? That year they ranked 8th in sacks and 6th in pts/g against - a good solid overall defense. I expect something like that here.
  10. I feel the total defensive numbers will be there at the end of the day. We have the talent, and he has the track record.
  11. Yup. But aside from his Ravens being 1st in INT's 2x, all his other years his defenses weren't great at getting INT's. And INT's can be quite unpredictable from year to year based on tips and other factors. As a total unit, he's coached some really well-rounded defenses...my main point was maybe we shouldn't go crazy if we don't lead the league in sacks this season.
  12. I know we've all been a bit disappointed so far with the amount of sacks our D has been able to obtain so far this season, but looking back at Rex's history with the Ravens and the Jets, I was surprised to see how infrequently his defenses ranked in the top 10 in the NFL in sacks. Rex has certainly coached some awesome defenses, but sacks haven't been his teams' strong points: With Ravens: 2005: 8th in sacks / 10th in points/game 2006: 2nd in sacks / 1st in points/game 2007: 19th in sacks / 22 in points/game 2008: 11th in sacks / 3rd in points/game With Jets: 2009: 18th in sacks / 1st in points/game 2010: 8th in sacks / 6th in points/game 2011: 17th in sacks / 20th in points/game 2012: 25th in sacks / 12th in points/game 2013: 13th in sacks / 19th in points/game 2014: 6th in sacks / 24th in points/game So in the last 10 years his defenses have ranked in the top 10 for sacks in the NFL only 4 times and top 5 in the NFL only once and he's had some pretty damn good players over the years on defense - HOF type players like Lewis, Reed, Revis, etc. Just something to consider and keep track of as the season continues to play out. I have no doubt this defense is going to be a top 7ish defense in points/game allowed when the season is over but lets not be surprised if we don't end up in the top 10 in sacks.
  13. But how can u sack someone in 1.5 seconds? I have more of an issue with the gameplan for our secondary.
  14. Just how bad are the Saints? Wow.
  15. I'm really happy w Rex as our HC. Just a thought regarding sacks: maybe im wrong, but didnt his jets teams always struggle to sack the QB? Im pretty sure that was the case w the jets
  16. The all whites are my least favorite. But no big deal
  17. Lmao. Thanks!
  18. Hahaha. Im glad you guys liked it. I wouldve posted a bigger pic but i did it from phone and couldnt figure out how else to do it.
  19. Pats 24 - Bills 23. Hope im wrong again
  20. Id say that for about 20-25 teams in the NFL the difference between a W/L may very well come down to coaching/team preparation. IMO
  21. Throw mama from the train
  22. One in the hand is better than two in the bush.
