Was His Choice For Bills Sake ??
bobobonators replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Possibly. Though it's also more likely he wanted to go where his friend Marshawn is, which also happens to be a phenomenal team, with phenomenal fans, and what appears to be a phenomenal team atmosphere. There is a lot of nonsense buzzing around the Pats and BB seems like he could be a pain to play for, despite his success. -
Who will be the worst team in the NFL this year?
bobobonators replied to dpberr's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
49ers or Redskins -
Under Rex I fully expect our Run D to be improved and be near top 5 but I expect our Pass D to possibly take a slight step back as a result of not producing as many sacks. Overall, they'll probably be around the same again - top 5 overall, but with a decline in sacks they may not appear as dominant.

What bothers me is that you act like 10-6 is somehow bad. When was the last time we were 10-6? How in Hades do you honestly expect any objective person who doesn't reside in Buffalo to predict that the Bills go 12-4 or 11-5 with a QB like Taylor? You know who goes 12-4/11-5 in the NFL? Teams with QBs named Brady Rodgers or Manning or Rapelessburger. It's going to be almost impossible for our defense to be much better than last season. We can't possibly expect Taylor to set the world on fire. And our schedule appears a bit tougher this season than last, though that will remain to be seen. 10-6 with a playoff birth? I'll sign up for that right now with a smile on my face. Only a handful of teams in nfl get more than 11 wins usually. No reason to get offended by 10-6.

NFL.com: Ceiling and Floor for each AFC Team

I just can't see 12-4. "It's hard to win in the NFL" haha. All kidding aside, it is hard to win in the NFL and especially when you don't have a solid, consistent QB. The best record in the NFL last season was 12-4. IMO our schedule was slightly easier than it appears to be this year though it's sometimes hard to predict how some teams will do from year to year based on injuries. I think an upside of 10-6 and a downside of 6-10 is very fare. -

Fred Says Whaley Dishonest With Him

I wish Graham would name someone already and stop being so vague about everything. -

maybe I'm just slow, but I still need clarity on what TG considers "football ops." Is Rex aware of this football ops? -

1. I have no idea what Tim Graham means by "football ops" much the same way I had no idea what he meant by the word "rogue." Tim Graham needs to learn how to express himself clearly. 2. How can Whaley deviate from "football ops" when he HEADS "football ops" 3. How did Whaley make a unilateral decision when it's been noted he did in fact consult with ownership? -

Exactly. Going rogue implies that pretty much nobody was consulted, which was impossible to believe for a player like Fred Jackson. Tim Graham is a joker. -

At the end of the day, Tim Graham should've used another word besides "rogue". -

I fully understand the notion that Whaley is the GM and obviously makes the personnel decisions but I just find it impossible to believe that Whaley would cut a player like Fred Jackson without someone else's blessing. For Christ's sake we had threads on here not that long ago talking about retiring Fred Jackson's number. Cutting Fred Jackson is more than just another personnel decision for Whaley and that's a fact. I have no idea what "rogue" means here b/c there is absolutely no scenario I can imagine where Whaley makes the call on Fred w/o substantial internal discussions with coaches and ownership. I honestly have no idea what to think of this situation so far and I guess I'll wait and see how this develops. In my personal pointless opinion: By "rogue" Im guessing that Rex wanted to keep Freddy and possibly was under the impression that he was going to be kept and then Whaley goes ahead and cuts Freddy as opposed to someone else that had been discussed - but even this scenario seems kinda crazy just b/c it's Fred Jackson we're talking about. It was only a couple of months ago that Rex was quoted as saying Bryce Brown better fix his fumbling problem or else he won't be touching the ball much, so I can't imagine for the life of me that Rex would rather have Bryce Brown than Fred Jackson. Man the Bills would've been awesome this year on Hard Knocks lol. -

Overreact much? -
i personally love the hubbly bubbly. Sammy smoking it a handful of times a year or once a month isn't going effect his production no more than it did Jordan with his cigars. I'm actually kind of disturbed by the fact that people are bothered by this.

I know some people didn't like them but when the Bills put on their all blue uni's last season, I loved them.

[closed]Why not strip the Super Bowl from the Pats?

I feel the Pats franchise should be barred from the NFL. Forever. Such a horrid act of cheating that took place. -

Are you in favor of changing PAT rule?
bobobonators replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I voted to remove it. I would want the following: you score a TD, it's 7 points. end of story. No extra point. No extra play no nothing. TD = 7 points and kickoff to other team. A regular FG obviously still remains the typical 3 points. The XP is just a waste of time and what's the point of running 1 more play from the 1yd line to get one point when you've just gone maybe 80yds/10plays to have to score a TD? This way players can't complain that the NFL is putting them in danger by forcing them to run more plays in the game and the incentive to score a TD is maximized by giving it a full 7 points. So the FULL REWARD is given to the actual TD play/drive and not shared with some other lame play thereafter like a FG or another gadget play from the 1yd line in order to get the full 7 points. Just my dos centavos. haha..I just saw this..yeah I'm with you 100% -
lmao..that's exactly what I thought after viewing that footage.
