  1. I see absolutely nothing wrong with this article. Its an op-ed piece like a million other op-ed pieces that express personal opinions on a subject matter. Whether or not you think the guy has an agenda is irrelevant. Quite frankly you getting on your soap box and calling other people names because you think you somehow know he has an agenda while others do not is laughable at best. The fact that the article is skewed in one direction isnt a revolutionary discovery on your behalf. You're apparently the only true simpleton here to think such a thing.
  2. Are you one of those Mets and Yankees fans too?
  3. Unfortunately the bills do think its an important position. Rex has always loved being able to run the ball and our offense with Roman focuses on the run. There is a reason we traded for lesean and drafted Karlos.
  4. Yes that would be a concern then. Unfortunately ive been out of the loop on this years up oming draft so outside of the obvious names i havent done much research. The way i look at it though, without shady you know Karlos is going to miss a couple of games - especially if hes taking on RB1 workloads. Other offenses who pass the ball 40-50 times a game, losing RBs isnt that big of a deal (hence the RB dime a dozen logic. But for this Bills offense i dont think RBs are going to be a dime a dozen. We need some talent at that position.
  5. This is my concern: If we cut shady, we will have a run-heavy offense with a lot of questions at RB. I love K Williams but hes one concussion away from being out for a long time and then what do we have at RB? Without shady for an entire season and with the emphasis on running the ball id say we have to focus on getting a RB in the first two rounds.
  6. I dont know about PA but in some states assaulting an off duty cop is a felony.
  7. How many times has the #1 defense not even made the super bowl?
  8. I know Eli isnt an emotional person and comes off as socially awkward. But he genuinely looks upset in that picture. There is pain in those eyes.
  9. I said he would be a situational pass rusher. Bahahahahahhahahahahahahhahaha And THAT folks is why im not employed by an NFL franchise. =(
  10. It was all Goodell's fault. Even back then he was in bed with BB.
  11. Thats exactly how i take it. How anyone can call marshawn an ego maniac is beyond me. The guy wont even do an interview to avoid the press. Cam is an ego maniac.
  12. We saw how that ended
  13. Despite all the antics, I really like Marshawn. He seems to be a kid at heart and though he has made some mistakes he appears to have his act together now.
  14. It's truly puzzling at times how the coaching carousel works in the NFL. Some coaches seem untouchable, despite their lack of success. Look at Jeff Fisher. Marvin Lewis has had success in the regular season but has yet to win a single playoff game with a super talented roster. How a coach like Mike Mularkey is even in head coaching discussions offends the mind.
  15. 100% agree. But if you think about it the same thought process is typically extended to all aspects of society; it's the nostalgic "back then" syndrome. Back then people were kinder; back then there was less crime; back then children showed more respect; back then life was simpler; back then, etc. etc. etc. Essentially, everything was better "back then." Greed isn't a novel development of the 21st century - it's innate human nature. It has been around since the dawn of man. Goodell's NFL did not invent it, nor perfect it. It's the same today as it was 40yrs ago the main difference (in my opinion) is the 24/7 news coverage constantly reminding you of it today.
  16. I feel that Wade is one of the most underappreciated coaches in the NFL.
  17. In my opinion, the part I highlighted is nothing more than a nostalgia that some sports fan have about the sport he/she loves. All of the major leagues have some fans who have the same gripe: the game/league was better X number of decades ago. The same people (not necessarily you) probably think the world was all sunshine and rainbows 40-50yrs ago too - the good ole days. It wasn't. I love the NFL. It's the best sports entertainment product there is in the United States. And no, it wasn't better 20yrs ago. The game is faster, the players are stronger, and the coaches are as good as ever.
  18. HAHA..well done. sounds awesome. Question: are Buckeye brownies the same as just "Buckeye's" (peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate)? MMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMmmmm
  19. The "luck" disparity you mention between the NFL and baseball can't be proven one way or another. You say luck plays little part in MLB in the grand scheme of things compared to NFL bc of the greater number of games involved. But that statement is directly dependent on the assumption that "good luck" or "bad luck" eventually even out over a MLB season specifically because of the duration of the season. That is nothing more than an assumption. Something important here as well would be defining exactly what "luck" is. We will find such a task extremely difficult.
  20. Exactly. Well said. Everyone is pointing the finger at football. We don't know the cause yet. There may be an association but not a direct causation.
  21. But i thought there was a wide ranging conspiracy between the NFL and the Pats* for the Pats* to win every SB? Maybe the conspiracy will now extend to Cam.
  22. It's not pretending, it's a FACT. Our schedule was ridiculously easy. Our "SOS" was pretty much blown out of proportion by only 4 teams (yes, 4 teams): the Pats, the Chiefs, the Bengals and the Jets. Those 4 teams alone went a combined 45 - 19. And we obviously played the Pats and Jets twice, so those 4 teams constituted 6 games. The combined record of the remaining teams we faced: Indy: 8-8 Fins (2x): 6-10 Giants: 6-10 Titans: 3-13 Jags: 5-11 Texans: 9-7 Eagles: 7-9 Skins: 9-7 Boys: 4-12 That's a combined record of: 57 - 87 OTHER THAN THE 4 TEAMS MENTIONED, ONLY 2 TEAMS WE FACED ALL SEASON HAD A WINNING RECORD. Fact is, we may go years before we face such an easy schedule again.
