EJ has no future as a starting QB in Buffalo. If I'm him I go to another organization where I can get a fresh start and possibly compete for a starting gig, and who knows, maybe start a few games. It's not going to happen here in Buffalo.
Schwartz is awesome.
Had we had Marrone/Chan/ and Scwhartz, we probably would've made playoffs. Story of Bills' life: Good offense, piss poor defense; good defense, piss poor offense. Rinse, and repeat for 3 decades.
He seems like he's a pretty small guy/small frame; he's definitely playing well in that system, but he looks like a player that may struggle to play 16 games in the NFL on a consistent basis.
Wiki has him at 6'3...I don't buy it. He looks small.
Just bc the offense goes 3 and out doesnt mean the defense cant do the same to the opponent. First drive of game by NYJ was like 6 minutes. That was pretty much par for course entire game, regardless of Bills offense.
I actually laughed out loud reading this. So true. So sad.
Every year I keep telling my self: "The odds are in our favor; one year it will have to be our year." No, it must not.
Only bright spot from the game yesterday, imo: the offensive line.
Despite all the talk about how dominant the Jets' DL was, TT had quite a bit of time in the pocket last night and he wasn't on the ground much.
Fitz was certainly on fire last night, and his WR's made some very difficult catches. The Jets came in with a chip on their shoulder, I'm sure. I completely agree with you about Rex and co. not adjusting to what the Jets were doing. Inexcusable. I get Fitz was on fire, but our scheme contributed to that.
