  1. Aside from the obvious silly response, as Bills fans, we're always waiting for the other shoe to drop. We've seen the same script over, and over, and over again. I wonder if Bills players feel it to? Fans feel it. Are Bills players subliminally thinking "we're the Bills, and something is going to go wrong." So it almost becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. And vice versa, the Hawks fans were probably thinking, "Bills aren't scoring here, SOMETHING is going to happen - we're going to get a sack, int, fumble, something"; and you wonder if players feel that way too, just b/c they have seen the opposite script over and over and over again. Obviously players need to execute at the end of the day, but I wonder how much of their play is impacted by that subliminal voice in their head saying "you're going to fail" vs. "you're going to do this." At some point the cycle needs to be broken and it will be broken. The Cubs broke that "here we go again" cycle this year. At some point, so too will the Bills.
  2. can we clone 2 incognitos?
  3. I think time of possession played a huge factor in keeping the Hawks at bay. Yes the defense played better in the second half but but thats not saying much. They only made 2 stops the entire second half that resulted in zero points. Why? bc the Bills offense had two drives of 6+ minutes and one at 4+ minutes. Had the Bills offense stalled with multiple 3 and outs, the defense wouldve been toast in my opinion.
  4. So when Atlanta lost to the Hawks a few weeks ago does that mean Matt Ryan wasnt good enough to overcome the defense's play and bad calls in that game? Or does your standard not apply in that case? Im sure there will be a "but" there.. the mantra "do your job" is important. TT did HIS job and did it very well. 3-5 players yesterday didnt do their jobs at all, and that was the difference.
  5. It's ridiculous. To sit here and have to stomach the constant argument: "but TT isn't Brady"; "but TT isn't Rodgers". What does that argument even mean? Brady is arguably the greatest QB to ever play. And Rodgers might be top 5 to ever play. Stop the constant BS already. And you know what? They've lost vs the Seahawks too.
  6. Wow. Nice stat. Add 40+ yds rushing and a rushing TD too.
  7. My brief takes: Offense: Goodwin had an excellent game. Woods had his best game as a Bill, imo. Both players finally stepped up and made plays with huge sideline catches that we're used to seeing other teams make. Incognito was a BULLDOZER this game - a beast. The entire OL played well except for Mills. Against really good pash rushers, Mills gets exposed, and exposed often. When Wood went down in the 2nd half we could no longer run it, and pressure kept coming up the middle vs. Tyrod Shady was awesome; TD Mike had some really good runs too. Unfortunately we just couldn't run it effectively anymore towards the very end of the game. Hands down TT's best overall game as a Bill considering the qualitfy of defense he was going up against, and playing in an extremely hostile environment. Combine 330+ yards and 2 scores vs. Seattle with only 1 turnover. One can make the argument that only Matt Ryan this year had a better game vs. Seattle. That says a lot. Showed poise, accuracy, and an uncanny ability to extend plays - which is needed vs a defense like Seattle. Defense: We pressured Wilson a good amount, however, like TT, Wilson has the ability to escape from pressure and make plays. Vs any other QB, we would've had more sacks. Hughes had a great game overall. KW had another big game and boy am I going to miss him when he's gone. The rookie Washington held his own as well. The most brutal game I've seen the secondary have in a long, long time. RW had no fear and literally just tossed the ball up several times, knowing that it was either going to be a PI or a catch. RW had zero respect/fear of our DB's. It was laughable. Graham made some circus catches that simply couldn't be defended, and that is partially bad luck on our part (b/c lets be honest, out of 10 tries, Graham/RW probably complete those passes again 1-2x's if that). But for Seattle's average WR's to expose our DB's (especially Darby) the way they did is inexcusable. Our special teams, overall, let us down this game. We had the punt block to start the game by Hughes which was absolutely huge, but Powell probably had his worst game of the season, we gave up multiple big returns, and Carp missed that FG at the end of the half (hard to get on him about that missed FG though). Overall, I walked away from last night's game extremely mad, and somewhat proud. This team showed fight. Nobody picked us to win except Bruce Smith. Dilfer called out our passing game prior to the game saying it was "remedial" - Dilfer, meet the kettle. But this will be remembered as another heartbreaking MNF loss. One of many unfortunately.
  8. Picking up his option makes him about the 18th/20th highest paid QB.
  9. What exactly has happened to this guy? I thought he was pretty good last year. Our pass rush is much better this season and this guy is the worst cover corner in recent memory now. Im pining for McKelvin at this point. Not even close.
  10. Goodwin also made a big catch on the sideline yesterday keeping his tiny little toes inbounds. WR's finally stepped up around TT as well. Credit to them.
  11. Easily the best overall performance by TT this season. Look at the numbers and you can make the argument that this was one of the best performances by any QB playing @ seattle this season.
  12. Its pathetic. Listen for me its simple. If you miss a bang bang play fine. It happens. But how in the WORLD do you get the Sherman fg call wrong?! Nothing else was going on in the field at that point. And then they follow it up with the spotting/play clock debacle. Someone should be fined or suspended on the officiating side. But they wont.
  13. Im done with Gilmore. Go miss another tackle.
  14. I actually enjoyed him too. He was just as outraged about the calls as we were.
  15. In the world where the WR was never open to begin with. When was Woods even open on that play? He wasnt.
  16. Name calling. Where is "name calling"
  17. Its embarrassing that after this game tonight this thread is on here in .5 seconds. We all watched this game and this thread is what people come away with? Embarrassing. The same people that were predicting under 150yds passing tonight and about 10-13 pts on offense. The Bills put up the more yards vs the Hawks than ANY TEAM THIS ENTIRE SEASON in a 4quarter game. Pathetic thread.
  18. His loss was notable bc we couldnt run the ball after he was gone.
  19. How many points do you think offenses put up on the Seahawks in seattle. Look it up.
  20. This isnt the time or the god damn place for this thread.
  21. Its !@#$ing criminal, thats what it is. !@#$ this game.
