I guess I'm just thinking of QB's that weren't "the best" in the draft, but they end up being very good. Romo, Flacco, Rodgers, Kirk Cousins, Drew Brees, Brady, Wilson, Andy Dalton, Derek Carr, Dak..granted a couple of those were in the first round (Flacco/Rodgers). Kaep to a certain extent as well. I'm just looking at current NFL QB's and not going back in time to QBs that are now retired, though Romo is almost there haha.

Hindsight is what it is, but many people criticized the Cowboys for taking a RB that high "with so many problems on the defense"..etc.

Is it me or are there more successful QBs taken in the middle rounds as opposed to "better" QB prospects taken in the top 5-10 picks. to answer my own thought i guess there are that many more QBs taken later as opposed to Top 10.

That was the right call in my opinion. On the road they were playing to win the game. They convert that 2pt conversion and its a 2 score game and pretty much game over. Bad play call though

I hear ya. I think an effective method would be for the two players next to long snapper to immediately pinch in and up with their blocks to create essentially a giant clog of humanity over the long snapper making it that much harder to make it over for a defender.

Carrol should call another quick slant here. 🙄

I could be wrong here but in a fg formation the holder is standing far enough back that the snapper cant just use one hand to snap it to him and have a snap thats low and hard. In order to do such a hard/low snap the long snapper needs both hands on the ball which physically causes him to go lower than a regular snap. If he were to only use one hand and stand further up the snap would be slow and probably high creating a giant cluster F. I hope I explained myself clearly bc im a little confused as to what change youre trying to propose.
