  1. I would love to have him on our team. I don't think he wants to play here, New York is a likely spot if he gets moved.
  2. Overpaid: Schobel Kelsay Dockery L. Walker I can't think of anybody on that team that is underpaid, except the fans that would like some return on investment.
  3. If we sign him we would get a Furrey Buffalo Bill.
  4. I heard about this guy what a sad story. I remember coaches used to try the run until someone pukes routine and other stupid tricks. I never agreed with some of those methods and it looks like those days are over for coaches.
  5. I was thinking along the same line, Greer is younger and cheaper and if you get something for McGee maybe that would free up some cash to fill a position of need.
  6. Here are a few interesting points from ESPN's AFC East Blog regarding Greer. He is Buffalo's most significant free agent. Cornerbacks are a precious commodity in the NFL, and there aren't a lot in this year's pool. Greer could be looking at a four-year contract worth between $4 million and $5 million on the open market. But Greer isn't necessarily interested in going up for bids. "I definitely want to get something done with Buffalo," said Greer, who will turn 27 next week. "It's a spot that I have so much appreciation for. I appreciate the opportunity that they gave me. "It's kind of weird to be in this situation, to have a choice. But at the end of the day, I know the community. I know my teammates. They're a spectacular group of guys, and it's a fun place to play." A long-term contract for Greer would make left cornerback Terrence McGee a lame duck. McGee, a Pro Bowl return man, is entering the final year of his contract and will turn 29 during next season. With all that being said would the Bills be better off signing Greer and trying to get something for McGee this offseason?
  7. If the draft boards are similar after the combine maybe we should take a DE in round 2. If Johnson (GT) or Ayers (Tenn) are still there, we may get some value by waiting.
  8. Interesting how these guys rank before the combine. A few months ago Michael Johnson from GT was a can't miss top 5 pick. Now who knows where he will be drafted, wonder if that will change after the combine?
  9. 3 to 5 years after we get good coach.
  10. If he could have picked the right coach and drafted in the trenches we would have been much better. Did Donahoe pass on John Fox?
  11. Agreed, Ayers looked really good at the senior bowl. If he could keep that up he would be a second round steal.
  12. As bad as those years ended, they were some of the best times. Going to the games was great and you knew we coould beat anybody at home. The loss to the Giants was the worst b/c we should have won that game. I watched the lost rings 1990 Bills on the NFL network and still hope the kick is good. That was a great team.
  13. I don't think the rest of the division is staying up late to devise a gameplan to stop PK Sam.
  14. FA Amani Toomer 1. Everette Brown DE FL State 2. Max Unger Oregon I am seeing a lot thinking Alex Mack and wonder why? He is a nice player, but his senior bowl performance raised questions about his ability to anchor against larger tackles. I like Mack but no way he is worth a first round pick and worry that he is more finesse like Folwer. I am not sure about Unger either, Caldwell maybe the best for our scheme but I think he is a late 2nd or 3rd round pick.
  15. I agree, unfortunately I also live in Jax part of the year and find it not to be an NFL city. I went to the SB when it was here and was disappointed. The downtown is a mess, no nightlife, bad hotels. Buffalo has a much better downtown than Jax. A lot of people think the Bills will move, but I think Jax is a more likely franchise to relocate. The fans don't support even when they win and they make no money. At least we still pack The Ralph win or lose.
  16. Basically you are saying in one sentance it's a QB league then knocking Edwards for making the playoffs with Huard b/c he "had better talent". I disagree everybody has talent in this league granted some teams have more but the bottom line is you need to find players that fit your system and buy in to the gameplan. The Bills have done a poor job in that area...and yes DJ & Herm have a similar overall but Herm has made the playoffs 4 of 8 years coaching period. The rest of the sotries about talent, schedule, is excuses for losers.
  17. If we trade down we may get one more pick. After the combine the boards should come into focus and the prognosticators will change their tune to get us excited for the draft.
  18. I find it hard to care about the Bills now. The organization does not seem to care about making the playoffs.
  19. Either one would be a nice addition. I also like Vance Walker from GT who is probably a late second or 3rd round guy.
  20. The more I see Cushing the more I like him, I worry 11 could be to high to pick him.
  21. At 11 possible DE's Brown from FL State, Maybin, or Johnson from GT could be there. I don't see value at LB at 11 unless Curry falls, not sure about Cushing at 11 he is a great athlete. TE is not a value at 11 this year maybe a trade down if the best DE's are gone.
  22. I am not sold on him, maybe as a udfa.
  23. At the end of the day I don't see the Bills trading him unless they get a great compensation package. He's under contract and the Bills hold all of the cards.
  24. After watching the Senior Bowl Ayers from Ten looked really good as a pash rusher. He may be there in the second round, leaving our first pick for BPA.
  25. I know Shockey had a bad year with the Saints but if he and Vilma both are on the market the Bills should condsider them both.
