  1. I am not saying hire Herm but he has coached 4 playoff teams since 2001 how many playoff games have the Bills been in since 2001? Oh thats right ZERO. Not to mention he coached KC to the playoffs in '06.
  2. This is my crazy Bills offseason plan. I know this will not happen, but I’ve been so disappointed with the team this year I’m dreaming to keep my enthusiasm up. My goal would be to get stronger in the trenches so we can compete with the upper echelon teams in the league. So here goes; To address the offensive line I would be aggressive in FA signing LT Jordan Gross, then trading Jason Peters to either Jax or Cincy for their first round pick. I believe the Bengals may be a better choice since they need to protect Palmer so let’s say Peters to Cincy for pick #6 (maybe too much for Peters but he is a 2x pro bowler). To finish the offensive line I would try to sign Marvel Smith to a 2 year deal worth 7-8 mil to play RT. He is good when healthy and would be a huge upgrade over Walker. If he signs I cut Walker, if try not renegotiate his deal to under $4 mil per year. At center resign Duke Preston and look at LeCharles Bentley. Bentley is a wild card with tremendous upside and should come cheap. Really would look to upgrade this position in the draft. Next would be to cut Chris Kelsay and save the money, if I could trade him for any pick that would be a no brainer. I would sign Chris Canty from Dallas to play LDE. He is a little heavy for a 4-3 but if he lost 10 -15 pounds he could be a beast. Our D-line needs to be more physical anyway, so a big DE could be good. To further shore up the D-line the next task would be to sign Tank Johnson. He should come at a reasonable price and is a good 4-3 tackle. At LB Mike Peterson or another less expensive Vet would be on my shopping list. Another big move would be to sign Greer and trade him or McGee to Cleveland for Kellen Winslow. It obvious the team needs a good TE and it’s rumored that he is on the market. The draft should look good with two top 10 picks and here is my plan. #6 Aaron Curry or Everette Brown. Let’s assume Brown, Curry maybe gone by #6 #11 Brian Cushing, good fit for out D and position of need. If we got Curry at #6 best DE with this pick. #42 BPA #75 Antoine Caldwell C need pick
  3. That is a tough question my answer is maybe. First I feel if the Bills are going to win a Super Bowl they need to be a run first team to set up play action and they need a top 5 defense. I say that based on weather conditions late in the year in Buffalo. I know NE is pass first and it works for them but they have Brady we have Edwards big difference. So based on that formula you might think no, but RB's usually have a 5 year window before injuries and hits slow them down and a good O-line can make an avg back look very good. WR's like Bolden are hard to find and he should be productive for another 6 - 8 years. So I think I would make that trade to balance the offense and find another back to play with Fred Jackson.
  4. I wish everybody would take a minute before posting these rumors. First of all Oakland or Jacksonville would move to LA before the Bills.Jacksonville is the most likely tram to move in the league right now, they make no monay and have little fan support. Second everyone is oversensitive about Toronto it is a long shot to move an NFL team into Canada. There are a tone of hurdles with the CBA, Labor Law, and the CFL. I don't think the Bills are moving anytime soon. Plus LA did not support the NFL the last time teams were there.
  5. At this point is his career he would make a perfect Raider.
  6. He would be the most entertaining thing about our defense.
  7. He would have more fun then we are watching the Bills.
  8. The fox ammouncers are awful...wait till Thursday they are no better.
  9. YES, he is at least a large part of the problem. bend but don't break = lose.
  10. I liked Leonard and thought he had a few Picks for the Bills in 07 we should have kept him. If our D was more aggressive we may fond more good players on the team.
  11. Yes, but he is a pro bowler 2 years in a row and there is NFL tape on him. I think Jax, Cincy, Oak, or any other team looking for an LT in round 1. He is safer than picking a college tackle with the bust potential. The problem is what we would do at LT if he's gone.
  12. Impersonating an NFL safety, isn't that a felony?
  13. How about Denver or Cleveland if he wants he could get another gig. The rest of the league know Mr. Wilson has the entire franchise in disarray.
  14. I'm not a Modrak fan at all.
  15. Moving Peters would not be that bad, but we need a 1st and 3rd for him...maybe Jacksonville, Cincy, or Washington would take him. The problem is the hole at LT. For me FA's would be Vilma at MLB move POZ to OLB and the safety from KC is a good young safety. We need D-line but there are only big $$ guys that won't sign here. The draft is our best hope this year. I would love to trade for Winslow or Gonzalez, but not likely.
  16. I applaud the effort too bad the Bills don't seem to care. Sometimes I think we will support the team no matter how bad the product is. I agree in being a fan through good and bad times but I feel they are taking advantage of the great diehard fans of Buffalo. Just once I want them to put winning first and show us with better players and a great coach. Our front office and coaching staff is second rate all the way.
  17. Here are my issues. 1. even if the Bills have a hot start how can you buy in after this years collapse. 2. 0-6 division record this year how can they spin that? with a much tougher schedule next year this is 4-12 or 5-11 team at best comming next year. 3. the coaching staff sucks with game management, scheme, and play calling. Even if they have a great draft and sign Haynesworth I'm not buying this team...not tough enough look at Peters missing the last two games over his contract. can't win with that.
  18. F*$& Russ Brandon and DJ.
  19. How many times do we need to hear the same BS story, although the Bills are good at marketing b/c we buy in every year. Not me this time sorry but they are not close to the playoffs no way 0-6 in the division and the staff gets a slap on the wrist. There is no committment to winning in Buffalo with the Bills or Sabres Chris Brown can save the stories.
  20. Well after the DJ news I hope it's something good. I'm not sure if I can take anymore BS from the Bills. The only way it could get worse is if he brought Al Davis in as a partner.
  21. I was dead wrong when I defended Mr. Wilson a few weeks ago, he is a doddering old fool! He can take this team and shove it....I'm done watching DJ & CO mismanage every situation and get out classed every week. Hope someone else wants my club seats.
  22. the 49ers beat us twice in one year they pick 10.
  23. Cowher says he will not coach in 09 take that for what it's worth.
  24. In a way I hope you are correct. My fear is the unknown of who the next hire will be. I wonder if Ralph will talk to a real personel guy this offseason.
