Chan NOT the man for the job going forward.
billsfan714 replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the fans are going to force Buddys hand to get rid of Chan. No way we can have another year of this ineptness. -
The Marshawn Lynch trade; three years later
billsfan714 replied to peterpan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Couldn't agree more.....notice how a good team like Pats got a guy like Talib for not much and he already returned a Int for a TD, but hey we have nice guys like Chris cant make a play Kelsay. -

A probowl runningback for an average at best RT..only Bills fans can spin this into a positive. -
CJ gets 7 touches [was Note to Chan]
billsfan714 replied to Pirate Angel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well going into the Sunday night game here are people who had more carries than CJ this week BJGE D. Murray T. Richardson M. Hardesty Vick Ballard Chris Johnson Jamal Charles AP Forte Ryan Mathews J. Dwyer Bryce Brown Doug Martin Alfred Morris Ray Rice B. Pierre Cam Newton DeAngelo Williams K. Moreno D. McFadden S. Greene Bilal Powell M. Owens Reggie Bush Frank Gore L. James Mark Ingram David Wilson Ahmad Bradshaw Marshawn Lynch R. Turbin Or in other words, about every starting runningback in the NFL and some of their backups. -
I was with you until the first part of no. 5.

All we need are: A new owner A HC Buddy to retire Good Scouts A QB A bluechip big, fast receiver 2 Linebackers Secondary depth Based on our current rate of improvement I see the Bills in the playoffs around 2022
-
If you believe Buddy,....
billsfan714 replied to Stormin Norman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im ready for Buddy to retire. 3 years and it doesnt look like were going to improve 1 game from the team he inhereted. His solution thus far for the most imporant position QB, has been to add a 7th round Levi Brown, sign Thigpen, bring in a done Vince Young and trade for Tavaris who doesnt play. He hasnt done really anything to improve the WR corps cept to bring in street FAs and spend a 3rd on Graham. He hasnt upgraded the linebackers. He took over a RB corp of Lynch and Fred and now we have CJ and Fred, be honest now no improvement there. He hired a retread coach, wasted millions on Merriman, Brad Smith, Kelsays extension, Fitzs extension. Passed on local boys Gronk and Mike Williams. Spent 50% of the first and second round picks on RBs and CBs, to me he's the same old thing we've been seeing and putting up with for over a decade. -
Are there such things as inherent losers?
billsfan714 replied to The Voice of Truth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get what you are saying. It seems since the Norwood miss, you watched the superbowls and the next 3 werent really close, then the music city miracle and combine that with loses like the Pats Monday nighter and the Dallas Monday nighter and you watch a game like that and just think......how are we going to lose this and the Bills find a way to do just that. -

One CJ touch in the final 22 minutes.....just amazing. A quarter and a half and one touch. -

I dont buy the negative media or cynical fanbase. For 13 years what are the local media supposed to write about? The great wins, drafts, coaching? The fans have been abused for over a decade and have seen some horrendous loses. Its amazing they are still in the stands. The inherent losers are coaches like Jauron and Chan who coach scared and dont have the stones to be an NFL coach. I was thinking about the culture of losing and whoever is the coach next year, I think it's important for this team to win in preseason next year, just for the psyche of this team. -
15,000 seats left for Jags game Don't look for

Bills-Jags is the fight game equivilent of Chuck Wepner-vs-Duane Bobick. -
Try to wrap your head around this
billsfan714 replied to Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well Im asuming somebody would want to be in the superbowl the following season so yeah Im definetly going Aaron Rogers. In runningbacks exactly where does CJ rate against guys like Foster, AP, Ray Rice, McCoy, Doug Martin, etc. There would be a first round run at Qb, Rogers, Brady, Brees, RGIII, Luck, Ryan, Eli, Big Ben, etc. First rounders would include Megatron, Julio, Roddy, Fitzgerald, AJ Green, Gronk, Jimmy Williams, Aldon, Willis, Watt, Atkins, Pierre-Paul, Revis, etc, dont think Id take a Bill till round 2 or 3 and that would probably be CJ. -

I think Aaron Rogers would be the first pick. If every player is available is the draft over 50 rounds and why would we want to keep a 4-7 team intact? I think CJ and Mario would probably be our only players in the top 100. -
Bills currently drafting 8th
billsfan714 replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Was listening to Mike and Mike this morning and they were saying Kiper's lastest ranking didnt have any QB in the top 10. Think he had Barkely and Geno at about 14 and 15. -
Very good assessment of the situation from TBN

Well we're consistent. -
I've seen enough of this experiment
billsfan714 replied to pimp on da' net's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nix is responsible for this just as much as Chan and Fitz, time for the entire Axis of Incompetance to go. -
50-60 yard FG's are off the Bills table
billsfan714 replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I cant believe LIndell doesnt have that range, Chan is a moron. If in the words of Herm Edwards, you're playing to win the game, how do you passs up a chance to put points on the board? -
Its like that dear Cleveland Browns video, you will be able to get Bills tickets for a couple of menthol cigarettes.

I live down in PSU country and to me, and reading between the lines, I dont think hes looking foward to 5 years of sucking in college. These scholarship restrictions will really show in the coming years. I think he would bolt.

O'brien from Penn State, done a good job with not much talent, plus has pro coaching experience.

The season is over but there is always next year!
billsfan714 replied to Buffalo 66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One school of thought is that the Bills keep doing the 3 year coach turnover and thats the reason for the mess we are in. Me, I think 3 years is enough time to show us what you can do. Chan is a .333 winning percentage coach for this team. There's less improvement with more talent. He's definetly not a motivator or leader of men. The thought of Chan leading this team in 2013 is sickening. Personally I dont think this team is going to be better off delaying the inevitable of cutting Chan loose, I dont see what we get waiting until 2014 to get a real coach. -
what happened to 40 touches for our RBs?
billsfan714 replied to buffalover4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love how Chan will say we have to "try" and get CJ more touches, like its a mystery how to do it. Hey Goober, call some more runs for him, it's not rocket science. Maybe some runs out of a traditional offense, where if he gets by the front 7 he's a juke or 2 from going the distance. -
3rd and 2, 3rd quarter, 5 point game...
