  1. Honestly the Bills would be dumb NOT to draft this guy. Seriously dumb. Fred Jackson is trade bait.
  2. Who cares. It's not like they've made the super bowl with our players/LT's. That's the ultimate goal isn't it? I'd rather them take and pay our LT's that aren't really even that good than to see us pay those bums that kind of money they greedily want anyway. Peters was a head case and wanted to be traded and Bell has injuries. I don't blame the Bills for not having those guys. Happy we don't. We need a stand up guy that are not only better players but very high character guys as well.
  3. The Eagles need a stop gap for a year while Peters heals up. They don't need to draft one at 10 or 15. But if Bell gets injured they may regret signing him and not drafting a LT. As for DeCastro, more would we have the best interior in football. Not to mention it would be a very nice insurance policy for Wood who can't seem to stay Healthy. In my opinion we have decent options if we stay at 10. Floyd, Gilmore, Keuchly, Rieff, Martin, Decastro, Ingram and any guy that just might fall to us would be good options. But the best scenario would easily be trading down to gather picks. I'm telling you right now, the guys dreaming of a trade up shouldn't waste their time and ours.
  4. I love the write ups too but nobody is saying he's an allstar mocker. And he's far from being average.
  5. Also I would like to add that Buddy is more of a "Take the best player available" type of GM if there isn't anything worth taking in a need position. So saying that I really wouldn't be too shocked.
  6. I was actually thinking about this my self. I'm always looking forward to the future. And with Freddy getting up in age, you legitimately have to consider the option. Especially if you can trade Freddy now and get a few draft picks. Chan is not a 1 back guy he likes the 1-2 punch. Richardson and Spiller would make this offense dynamic past Freddy for years. I wouldn't be too apposed because I truly trust the decisions that Nix and Gailey make.
  7. Anybody know a good website that covers the happenings at these pro-days?
  8. 3 reasons why I voted for Gilmore. 1. He's a stud first and foremost. 2. CB is not as deep in this draft like WR is. You are going to find great value in rounds 2-5 for a tall fast WR. I don't think you are going to get the same bang for your buck at CB this year. You have a better chance at getting two starters picking cb in round 1 and wr later than wr rd 1 and cb later. 3. I usually am on the bandwagon of not picking a LB that early. Kuechly comes close to being an awesome pick and maybe I would have voted for him if we needed a 3 down MLB or WLB but we need a 2 down SAM. Makes a difference. But I wouldn't be apposed to it that much. I wouldn't mind Copples still. Having a nice rotation of stud pass rushers for years could be important.
  9. He's obviously biased.
  10. Byrd all day. Lineman are easier to find than ball hawking safeties like him that can tackle.
  11. This signing just made Mario Williams smile.
  12. Evans can't run a route and Fitz can barely throw the deep ball as it is. Plus I don't want two guys on the team dropping the big one.
  13. Micheal Floyd actually has the production though to go with the talent, height and speed. I would feel MUCH more comfortable picking Floyd at 10. I think you can trade down and get Hill at around 20. I would think stock piling up on some assets would be a wiser decision instead of reaching for a guy that may or may not produce with a 2-3rd grade.
  14. Uhh lol Stephen Hill at 10 isn't going to be a Bill just because of his measurables. Nice try though. But stick to your day job.
  15. I would still sign Winston either way. Not only is he a year and some change younger than Pears. He has one more year experience. And he is way more talented. I would restructure Pears to stay as depth. Or just cut the dude. Either way. Upgrading is never a bad thing. It does show that you aren't loyal to your players though, but there is little room for sympathy in this business.
  16. Well then if you think about it... Once he practices against our D everyday and beats us, he will then become UNSTOPPABLE!
  17. Who wants to bet some money Merriman, Nix and D-Flo recruit their old friend to play with us? I got a dollar to everyone who wants to bet lol.
  18. I don't care how much the guy thinks he's going to get. I guarantee he's not going to be topping off in the 12+ mill range. It won't happen. Not for a 29 year old receiver who's resume isn't nearly as good as the 2nd best receivers in the game.
  19. Winston is 6'7" He probably has the measurables to play LT. Brown would most likely be a better option though at LT. Either way. Buddy has been on record saying if there is a chance to improve a position, he will.
  20. Yeah great idea B.B. Not. Tebow will never be a true QB that can put the team on his back. I'm not going to lie though, he got pretty damn lucky last year. Luck? or Divinity? lol I wish some of you people would think before you start throwing a bunch of **** at the wall with these trade ideas. Use some brain cells. Tebow is not a franchise guy. And once he's on the team there goes the passing game. I don't think you can win with him running the ball, freddy running the ball and c.j. running the ball. Who's going to get the majority? Yeah... that's never going to work lol. They are receiving backs anyway. Not to mention you have to think this organization is content with Fitz at the very moment. Why bring in a RB to play QB? Blows my mind you came up with this crap. Do you really think the Bills should do this? Or are you kinda just saying we couldshould lol My advice to you? Delete the thread.
  21. His production goes beyond just receptions. But I somewhat agree. It's risky. But 10mill a year wouldn't be bad. I would prefer to give him around 8.5-9.5.
  22. You mean the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL? Oh wait... they are in the NFL.
  23. What about Manny Lawson. This guy is a free agent isn't he? I swear I must be dreaming when I don't hear people talking about him more.
  24. Darent Williams was a really promising CB. He was shot and killed hanging out with Brandon Marshall and I think Javon Walker? Could be wrong. But it was down town Denver. Justin Miller had promise his first year but then went no where. He was just mainly a PR guy and ST guy. But was decent at it. Jonathan Babineaux is really good in my opinion. Kelvin Hayden is a pretty average to above average CB in the Tampa 2 scheme. He doesn't have much speed but he's a good tackler. I think he would be a fantastic FS. I'm talking TOP safety. Terrence Murphy Who!? It's amazing those packers have drafted so many receivers so high in the draft and can have half of them not pan out and still have the best receivers in the league lol
  25. The age of the shutdown corner is only dead because of Stevie Johnson. If he weren't a receiver, and worked at a gay strip club in SF, Revis would still be a shut down CB in the NFL.
