  1. I think what he said is "don't even counter" which is a little different. Says the offer that came in was unacceptable. 100% class guy too.
  2. I'm listening....who are these ***** ton of edge rushers still available that can def. improve us?
  3. I dunno that he scares me, but he's not what we need him to be, and at this point I don't feel we ought to bet the rent that he'll get there. I'd just like to point out that the injury that cost Josh games his rookie year, was sustained in the pocket. The injury that probably hampered him for 3-4 games this season was sustained while trying to throw
  4. Tampa Bay just extended Brate. Think it's pretty clear that they're keeping him. Njoku's $6M 5-th year option for the Browns just guaranteed Jared Cook interests me. I don't know anything about his blocking abilities though. Can he block? I'm not persuaded Reed is an upgrade nor see how he'd help develop Knox. How so? Much better route runner and pass catcher as far as I can tell. He did have a bunch of drops last year but it seems to be an aberration as he didn't have that problem previous 2 years. Iffy as a blocker.
  5. Are you suggesting ANOTHER late round pick on QB or are you talking about rolling with Webb or Fromm as #2? Fact: Knox had 4 drops and 2 fumbles, one of which ....was just weird. INT? Fumble? Incomplete pass? I'm not denying that we need improvement at the TE position but let's not exaggerate We need speed. For the run game, blocking by the OL and TE/FB need to improve. I expect them to have Boettger and Ford compete at LG and have Feliciano and a rookie compete at RG. We need an upgrade at TE though. I'm wondering if they think Williams is the upgrade (or at least the competition) they need at RB.
  6. Grade A Sleezebucket then. The outcome was after 6 months of trying the case in the media with leaked texts etc, both of them made public statements "oh, sorry- so sorry, regret that I defamed your character publically" and the case settled privately https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/mario-williams-former-fiancee-agree-to-settlement-on-785k-ring/
  7. Oh, OK, sorry, missed your joke. I know who Jordan Devey is.
  8. I was hoping for this guy. Who do you have in mind?
  9. What are you looking at as a reasonable deal? Samuel 3 years $34.5M so that's a "no" to "one year deal for a reasonable price" I don't think Fuller or Golladay are a fit for the specific skillset the Bills were looking for (especially Fuller) but I could be wrong. I also think with Fuller there 's the concern about staying healthy
  10. There was no guard named "Dewey" on the PS last season. Did you mean veteran Jordan Devey?
  11. Oh, man...I screwed up. 2 receptions on 6 (six) targets ....that's still an increase over 2019 OK, that's unfair, as Josh did overthrow him a lot. But he didn't catch what was there for him either

  13. OK, that's enough of that. If you guys need education about vulgar slang, Urban Dictionary is "at your service" If someone actually has some football news, start a new thread.
  14. https://www.radio.com/wgr550/sports/bills/nfl-new-league-year-begins-bills-tender-boettger?utm_campaign=sharebutton&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_term=WGRAM That picture 😅🤣😭 5'10" vs 6'6"
  15. That's a great question. I was just looking for this info myself. I believe in the past it's been ~ a 6 week period, so some time around April 27th or 28th. Then the team that extended the tender has 5 days to match the offer - not sure if that means the last day to make an offer is 5 days before it ends or ?? Anyone else here got the straight stuff? Who is "Dewey"?
  16. What being 6'2" with a 4.4 40 time will do for ya Active in 4 games last year with WFT, played mostly ST. 2 receptions on 4 targets.
  17. Depends, could you make her laugh? Tractor Supply said to have a pretty good selection https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/search/pitchfork
  18. So McKenzie at this point has 4 years of experience (2017, think he qualified all 4 years). This makes him eligible for VSB. His minimum salary if I've got the right table, is $990,000. As I understand it, if he doesn't get other takers the Bills could sign him to a cap hit of $1.127M of ($990k salary + $137.5k of bonuses) but have it count as $850k (this is called veteran salary benefit). Depending upon the round, a late round player (5th-7th round) has a cap hit of $680-728k. Bottom line is the rookie would not cost 1/2 to 1/3 what the Bills would have to pay McKenzie (assuming he has no offers above vet minimum) but rather McKenzie would cost 17-24% more (under VSB). An extra 17-24% would IMO be easily countered by experience in the system. When the dust settles, I wouldn't rule against the Bills bringing McKenzie back if they can do it on VSB, but if he gets an offer of $1.5-$2M, I'm afraid they will wish him the best (I like McKenzie).
  19. And to recap, we have a "right of first refusal" $2.1M tender on Ike Boettger
