  1. The Bills will beat the Chiefs, at Arrowhead, if the two meet in January.
  2. Not to mention that he just keeps gutting his staff and taking MORE control. And every time he does, things get worse. What could he possibly be selling himself on at this point? He's got a QB that took them to a Super Bowl, a high priced RB, 2 excellent WRs, 4 first round picks on the OL, and a pro bowl TE on offense. Defensively, he's got his own hand-picked pair of EDGE rushers, a pro bowl DT in Jarrett, a pro bowl LB in Jones, and a slew of 1st and 2nd round DBs. I don't get it
  3. Just ask Zolak about his playing career; that'll end the discussion real quick. Josh has already accomplished far more in his young career than Zolak did in 55 games as a pro. But Scotty will always have that magical run in 1998, when he played 6 games for NE and completed 42% of his passes for a 4.9 YPA with 3 TDs and 3 INTs. He's earned the right to talk some smack.
  4. Worth discussing. My take on that is simply to look at why he ends up getting those goal line touches. Examples like the repeated stuffing of RBs against NE, Washington, and Cleveland in goal line scenarios are a big part of it. The ease with which Allen tends to walk in against even tough defenses is another.
  5. I'm not sure if I should laugh harder at your snark attempts or at the fact that you're comparing Tyrod Taylor's performance when surrounded by Watkins/Woods/Hogan/Goodwin/McCoy/Harvin/Clay in Roman's offense (which is leading the NFL in scoring this year) to Allen's when surrounded by Brown/Beasley/Knox/McKenzie/Foster in Daboll's scheme ? If you want to talk about relative contributions to the offense, only 4 QBs have scored more total TDs. Of all NFL QBs, nobody has accounted for a greater percentage of their team's TDs than Allen. None. So the argument that "OF COURSE HE SCORED SO MUCH DUMMY HES A QB!!1!1!1!!1!1" doesn't hold water. The problem you have is that you look at a number and have no clue what it means. Context. It's important. It tells you how to interpret data so that you don't say foolish, false things (like every team's QB scores most of their TDs). Also, don't put words into my mouth so that you have something to rant about. I never said the offense was a juggernaut or that the passing game was where I'd like to see it. What I said was that it's patently absurd to say that the QB is holding back every other part of the offense. Dude, the QB is the offense right now. That was the point.
  6. I let most of your pro-NE****** and anti-Bills nonsense go without calling you out, because I usually don't care. I won't, however, sit by and watch you combine your new-found relentless NE fandom with total condescension towards others without speaking up. In short, you're being a jerk here. Make your point without doing so.
  7. I don't agree, but I suppose that reasoning makes sense
  8. Why? Ford has had a decent game or two, but it hasn't been close between he and Ty as to who is the better player.
  9. Huge. They need him at RT.
  10. I don't know about mocks. I do know, however, that both NO and one other team were trying to get ahead to get ahead of Arizona at 13 to get him. Of course, I said he should go #1 overall, but what do I know? ?
  11. The offense is 22nd in points per game
  12. No way. Mahomes was not a huge reach. He was a super talented kid that was viewed as needing a few technical refinements.
  13. The QB, who has scored 29 of the team's 35 TDs this year, is dragging everybody else down? The QB, whose top 2 WRs are both having career seasons despite playing in the most complex offense they've ever seen, is dragging everybody else down? The QB, who has the most 4th quarter comebacks and is among the highest rated 4th quarter passers in the NFL, is dragging everybody else down? I can't take the rest of this post even remotely serious in light of that one absurd statement.
  14. I know what sticking a middle finger upward means, but what does sticking it sideways mean?
  15. Dude, I labeled this a "just for fun" exercise. I'm not the least bit surprised that you managed to find a way to be rude and condescending nonetheless. The point was to show that Brown has been as productive as two bona fire WR1s this year. That's all. It was both, and I'm glad that most folks see it for what it is.
  16. Yeah, ok. Go ahead and substantiate that. Phil may be done. Not ready to call it. Ben, OTOH, looked absolutely finished in weeks 1-3. Like a dude that simply had nothing left to give.
  17. Just for some fun... WR1 has 75 receptions on 114 targets, 4 drops, 1,097 yards, 8 TDs, and 15 receptions of 20+ yards WR2 has 72 receptions on 115 targets, 4 drops, 1,060 yards, 6 TDs, and 17 receptions of 20+ yards WR3 has 71 receptions on 127 targets, 5 drops, 954 yards, 3 TDs, and 13 receptions of 20+ yards Take your pick, then click below to see who you selected...
  18. They could play the entire game with an offensive lineup of: Barkley Yeldon/Perry Sweeney Duke/Roberts/Foster Bates-Boettger-Long-Mongo-Ford That would expose only 2 starters. Defensively it's a bit tougher, but you could roll with Stanford and Thompson at LB, and make sure Johnson gets the highest number of reps at DE. Don't bother dressing Tre, and let Marlowe/Neal/Coleman take the safety reps.
  19. Not ok. Offers no benefit and too much opportunity for injury
  20. Ah crap. I meant to put Watson on there. I think Ben is done, and Wentz is too inconsistent to be clearly ahead IMO
  21. Year 1 Goff was a train wreck
  22. Both IMO. No man is an island
  23. I watch every game every week. Road Goff hasn't been great, but he was so good for the previous 2 years that he gets the nod over Allen for now. As for Dak, he's had his not-so-hot moments, but QBing the NFL's best offense is a big deal IMO.
  24. I say to this point in their respective careers, yes. I'm being fair IMO. No real measuring stick per se; just personal opinion
  25. See this I agree with. The original bone of contention was that the defense isn't out there winning games.
