  1. Once again, Josh shows that the team needs to just let him play the game. When they try to manage him, he gets out of rhythm and the offense sputters. Lo and behold, on the final drive, they cut him loose and all of a sudden he looks like the guy that can carry a team.
  2. Did you watch the game? He's right. They also totally ignored a very obvious face mask on the 4th down play where Allen had to hero his way to a 1st down with less than 3 minutes to go. Just a coincidence I'm sure.
  3. In their 2 other nationally televised games, they've run trick plays. I would expect one today. Yoke is easy; burden is light
  4. At the time they were legal; now they're not
  5. Martz had to be restrained from going after Mularkey in the tunnel at The Ralph one time. Called him a #### sucker because he lost 2 CBs for the season in the same game due to low blocks from Bills' OLmen. True story.
  6. As long as he holds onto the ball. There's a bit more than a 100% chance that NE****** will be punching at the ball after his issues last week.
  7. It's a smart approach to put this out there now. Make the league aware that you expect to get jobbed, and hope that officials will be on alert to make a call in your favor. Dallas did it before the Thanksgiving game, and Tre White gets nicked for 2 holding calls early and Dallas gets off with a warning for hitting a sliding QB in the head.
  8. I've long said that most Pats****** fans were born in the long summer...and it's been a LONG summer...but now, my sweet summer children, winter is truly coming.
  9. Remember that John Brown also called this offense the most complicated he's seen BY FAR. It's not lip service.
  10. He played very well against both. The offense moved the ball well and the outcome was never in doubt.
  11. I would come out swinging; literally. Throw swing passes to RBs until they stop you...and I think they'll struggle to do so without going to a Cover-2 zone. And that's when you hit them with the chunk throws to the boundary and the TE seams.
  12. He's sort of like the anti-Allen. They both move the ball well, and they both get the ball in the end zone. Jameis, however, doesn't seem to care at all about taking care of the football. Never has.
  13. First off, Josh doesn't play against QBs. Second, Josh didn't have a great game against Dak Prescott on national TV? Or is it that Dak, who is top 5 in TDs, yards, and YPA, doesn't count because reasons?
  14. Flashy for sure. In fact, he leads the NFL in passing yards. He also leads the league in interceptions by a mile--33% more than anyone else. In fact, his total TD to total TO ratio is 31:30; that's pretty bad. By contrast, Allen has a passer rating that's only 3 points behind Jameis. He also has a total TD to total TO ratio of 27:13. So for as fantastic as Jameis appears to be, he's scored 4 more TDs than Allen and has turned the ball over 17 more times. Generally agree as usual...though I really do expect Josh to be better given that he's seen them once already this season. The precedent is a very small sample size, but both times he's faced the same defense a second time in a season (both Miami--I know, I know), he's had excellent games
  15. Yes, but did you know that Andre Reed used to wear #46???
  16. Yep. The facilities are world class, and will be a HUGE selling point...moreover, it'll be a great indicator to the organization of whether or not players place a premium on taking care of their bodies.
  17. Allow me to explain: many of us are Bills' fans. Those of us that are understood back on New Years Eve 2017 that ending the drought was nice, but that the team didn't really have the potential to take it too far. This team, on the other hand, is good. Maybe very good. And so those of us that are Bills' fans are pretty fired up that we have a team that could potentially contend for a championship--not only now, but also in the foreseeable future.
  18. So we must agree with you or else we are wrong? No offense here, but you aren't going to get much meaningful dialogue with that approach...and a few of us have tried.
  19. So forget what he's done against top pass defenses like Denver and Dallas, or how he handled himself well against Pittsburgh's top 5 pass D, and focus solely on this game? I doubt that's what you're saying; I'm more pointing out that a bad game in this scenario shouldn't damper anyone's spirits regarding Allen. I also expect him to acquit himself this Saturday; if he doesn't play well, it won't portend confidence in this team's ability to win on the road this postseason.
  20. Dallas and Denver were both top-10 pass D units when he faced them too.
  21. So all he has to do to prove himself to you is beat the league's best defense in their own building in a prime time game that they have to win? Seems reasonable.
  22. And yet, when they needed to score to win the game, what plays did they call? I'll give you a hint: a deep throw to Brown, an end zone shot to Brown, and an end zone shot to Kroft. Interesting, isn't it? Isn't it also interesting that his best football comes when they need him to make plays late in games? Do you suppose there's a correlation? Vis a vis: when they don't ask him to play "don't lose" football and let him play the game to win, he plays his best football?
  23. Wow. That's really amazing considering he's in the thick of the most difficult stretch of defensive units he's ever faced.
  24. Here's what folks need to ask themselves about Allen and the Bills: When opposing coaches draw up their game plan, who on Buffalo's offense are they focused on stopping? The answer is easy
