  1. Oh I like to engage. I like to press folks that make such statements to see how much they actually know. It’s entirely possible that someone has a well-thought-out argument; unlikely in this case, but possible.
  2. Again I will ask: does anyone see any evidence to support the idea that Allen will continue to improve and elevate his game to the next level? Now, the converse: does anyone see any evidence to support the idea that Allen will NOT continue to improve and elevate his game to the next level?
  3. Tyrell Williams got $12M; Sammy would get more. Can’t be; if it were then it would be a LTBE and count against the 2020 cap.
  4. KC’s group. Period. Hill has been elite the last 3 seasons, and Watkins is the only one of the 3 of them that isn’t quite as fast as Brown.
  5. Fumes? Sherman ranked 8th among NFL CBs in passer rating allowed in 2019.
  6. What? No! Why would they want a guy that everyone on this board knows is terrible?
  7. Meh, draw the penalty if you can. Not like he scummed someone and then faked an injury like Edelman. No hard feelings.
  8. I had heard that Sanders was their #1 choice from the FA group, but that they were looking hard at the trade market, so this isn’t super surprising.
  9. No need to post the article. Today is April 1st my friend
  10. Now this one I can speak to...currently the only concern is leakage from septic tanks into an active aquifer. NY State issued an order to start WW disinfection season now, so at most you’re looking at year-round disinfection as opposed to the typical April-October or May-November season.
  11. Nah. Jordan Poyer is among the biggest sassers in the game when the Bills win. He waves goodbye to fans and will often taunt the opposing sideline. And he just got a new contract.
  12. Not necessarily. I think we’d all call DeShaun Watson a top-10 NFL player (or at least close to top-13), and they had the #14 offense in terms of PPG in 2019.
  13. ?? They could certainly go QB. I jut wonder if Telesco and Lynn aren’t thinking that they need a LT badly and are both probably fighting for their jobs this season.
  14. So if they add a RB to complement Ekeler and draft a LT 6th overall to go with Turner, Pouncey, and Bulaga?
  15. I believe that the point I refuted was that no other QB could run the Roman offense aside from Lamar. I would say that Taylor running the offense resulting in a top-10 finish (actually top-7 prior to the EJ week 17 debacle) qualifies as being able to run the offense.
  16. It would only make sense for them to give Lynn a contract extension and then can him the following offseason ? Huh? He hit a bunch of deep throws here
  17. Agree. He’s good at taking up space, and occasionally makes a play. Not a Snax Harrison type, which is how he was paid, but it is what it is.
  18. Oh, you have game pass? Wow! I’m definitely impressed! See me over here, I just shoot from the hip and don’t really watch at all. Maybe it’d be worth re-reading the post for context instead of getting indignant and spouting nonsense? Or not. Either way is fine.
  19. The statistic of interest there would be missed tackle percentage. Jordan - 20.5% Shaq - 17.9% Star - 13.9% Oliver - 6.5% Butler - 5.9% Jefferson - 16.1%
  20. I don’t know this for a fact, but I can surmise from their offseason that they felt missed tackles were a problem in 2019. Phillips missed 11 tackles last year; that’s an absurd amount for a guy that played 543 snaps. For comparison’s sake, everyone’s favorite whipping boy—Star Lotuleilei—missed 3 tackles in 482 snaps. The guy that will most likely replace Jordan, Vernon Butler, missed only 2 tackles in 440 snaps in 2019.
