  1. Roost is the best restaurant in town. By a significant margin.
  2. Meh, he’s being open and honest about it. He’s a kid with a young family and a MASSIVE pay day ahead of him; this can’t be an easy decision for him.
  3. No. Keep your best players at the key positions like QB, WR, OT, pass rusher, and CB. Let the other guys walk. What the Jets did with Adams was 100% right; the Seahawks are absolutely nuts to trade that much for a position that teams are able to fill 90% as well with street FAs and late round picks.
  4. What a pompous and arrogant post. Yes, these guys have busted their asses. Much respect. Just say that instead of popping off at someone that you don’t know either.
  5. Everyone knows about their respective completion percentages, but what about their respective accuracies? I would wager a nickel or two that very few could tell me how similar their on-target percentages are without looking...moreover, I’d wager a quarter that even fewer could tell me how the two players compared in that metric to 1st ballot HOFers like Brady and Rodgers in 2019...or to, say, Patrick Mahomes.
  6. Well, de facto bubbling for the NFL is patently impractical. Think about the logistics of hosting 2 games at a single venue in a single week. Now expand that idea to even half an NFL schedule. Your proposal for all teams to bubble their players at a hotel, however, is quite reasonable IMO.
  7. Well, his previous persona, the One Man Gang, retired one the offseason, so this makes sense.
  8. It’s so opportunistic for NE****** Opt out. All of you. We’ll play the season with a taxi squad, go 0-16, and draft Trevor Lawrence.
  9. What? The EDGE rushers are both at his sides in 2 seconds...and Knox is double covered with the back line as an extra defender. It’s hardly what I’d call the most difficult throw I’ve ever seen, but “pretty routine” is a definite overstatement. Moreover, when you’ve got 2 more downs at your disposal, go ahead and throw it over the double and make sure you don’t throw a pick. Hope the big TE can make a play (as a separate thought, Knox didn’t seem to be prepared to make a play on the ball; he kind of ran through his route instead of turning to high point the ball, but that’s a different discussion), and if not assume that you will get something that resembles a block from any offensive lineman on either 3rd or 4th down. Unfortunately none of those things happened.
  10. Or if he’d have had a chance to convert either of the 2 additional chances he had after that—you know, if he didn’t have 2 guys in his face in less than 1 second. But yeah, had he floated a perfect ball to Knox in double coverage with a guy in his face it would’ve been an awesome way to announce his arrival as a big name. I maintain that I’d have gone for 2 and the win there too.
  11. I know that coming within two consecutive jailbreak blitzes of tying the game, on the road, for the division, against the greatest coach of all time coaching the league’s No. 1 defense is what I’d call “unraveling” ?
  12. A bit too low, but right range. IMO he should be higher for the simple fact that no other player came even close to scoring as high a percentage of his teams TDs while contributing such a significant percentage of their offensive yardage and first downs. The entire Bills’ roster sans Allen scored 6 TDs all year...and only one of those (the trick play TD on thanksgiving) came in the final 8 regular season games. A lot of people lose sight of just how exclusively he’s carried that offense for 2 years.
  13. I checked his Twitter; looks like he was on the radio with S&R this morning: https://mobile.twitter.com/JoeBuscaglia/status/1287711014545481728
  14. Good for Ed. He handled the situation perfectly, and now he’s been exonerated by the evidence.
  15. The Bills missed more tackles than all but 2 other teams in 2019; they had more than twice as many missed tackles as NE****** It’s definitely a problem. As for YBC vs YAC, I don’t see any numbers on that. I can say, however, that a look back to games against Philly and Washington doesn’t support the theory posited in your last paragraph.
  16. Good stuff. The encouraging thing is that the staff was acutely aware and made addressing it a priority.
  17. ? I use pro football reference advanced defense stats. Lots of good stuff there.
  18. The focus here should be on the DL. Shaq and Jordan Phillips missed a TON of tackles. The guys they added to replace them—Jefferson, Addison, and Butler—missed a total of 4 in 2019.
