  1. A couple of things here: The Jets didn't "pull the wool" over anyone. Buffalo was in on the trade talks with Indy, but the Colts themselves said that they didn't want to move down past 6. Secondly, Rosen hasn't "sucked". He's played like a rookie. Rookies usually don't look great. Yeah, that whole going 4-5 as a starter while having to be the team's entire offense thing just doesn't sit well with anyone No offense dude: I think your biggest issue is magnificently unreal expectations of a rookie QB
  2. It. Hit. Clay. In. The. Hands. Clay said he should've caught it; does that mean that your take is absurd? You seem to believe that how the ball looked as it traveled is somehow more important than where it landed Well, I disagree...and so does Charles Clay He had a few misses yesterday too
  3. And Clay said he should've caught it, so what?
  4. Feel free to look at the play-by-play in those games. I watch every game every week, and it's been apparent to me since September that this is a run-first team.
  5. What? The. Ball. Hit. Clay. In. The. Hands. It wasn't perfect... but it was definitely catchable I'm hardly the guy that polishes apples on this type of issue either
  6. My position on that throw is as follows: If you ask any pass-catcher currently playing in the NFL, 100% of them will tell you that they expect to catch that ball with the game on the line If you ask any QB currently employed by the NFL, you might get 5 of them (Allen included) that would tell you that they could've thrown that pass Feel free to pick that apart if you're so inclined.
  7. Updating this: NE is 7-0 when they rush for over 100 yards NE is 2-5 when they rush for less than 100 yards. The two losses? The game where they rushed for 97 yards against the Colts, and the game in which they got to face Derek Anderson--a game that would've been lost to any team with a competent QB. Stop the run, and you stop NE.
  8. Your joke of a can't-win-unless-we-cheat team barely beat a Derek-Anderson-lead Bills' team last time around. Don't look now, but the rest of the NFL has noticed that the Patsies can't win if they can't run the ball, which is what I've been saying for 2 months. When the best thing you can say about your team's performance is that they managed to run down the clock at the end of the first half by pretending to have enough gumption to go for it on 4th down, well, just punt on 3rd down and be done with it ya bunch of pansies.
  9. Well, they did have the #3 scoring defense and #2 yardage defense in 2014, but again, I'm not sure I'm understanding your point with regard to Stafford. But hey, sometimes I miss things, especially on Mondays.
  10. Maybe I'm missing your point here... Why bring Stafford into the discussion at all? What does his 2018 completion percentage show in terms of benchmarking? Not trying to be a jerk; I really don't understand what you're getting at with that statement. Whereas when I look at a guy like Cam Newton, who won an MVP completing 59% of his passes, went 15-1, and took his team to the Super Bowl, and I can understand that comparison because he's a pretty strong comparable for Allen in terms of arm strength, athleticism, and accuracy. It's also worth noting that rookies often have low completion percentages. Look who's in the bottom-5 this year for qualified passers: Rosen, Darnold, Jackson, and Allen. No surprise. Andrew Luck was a 54% passer as a rookie.
  11. I'm trying to understand why you care what Matt Stafford's completion percentage was on a day where he basically made zero plays with his arm that didn't involve him heaving up a prayer for Kenny Golladay
  12. Um, why do we want him to be Stafford?
  13. If the Bills manage to go into NE and win (which I don't think will happen), they will basically sell out the 2019 season the following day.
  14. Go straight for Roc Thomas off Minnesota's PS I had him graded as a R5 guy
  15. Good call.
  16. True...but then again: https://www.buffalobills.com/video/josh-allen-rolls-out-to-find-chris-ivory-for-a-big-55-yard-catch-and-run
  17. You don't need to defend yourself to anyone Gunner. Your track record speaks for itself, and (as I'm sure you know) I mean that as a compliment
  18. Simple: a receiver that your opponent has to draw up a game plan in order to stop
  19. I started feeling old when the "parade of Shaqs" began a few years ago.
  20. Definitely Boyer if he's let out of his contract after Bowles is (presumably) fired. I'd also look at KC Asst. ST Coordinator Rod Wilson. He started as an intern with the Chiefs, and has coached alongside the venerable Dave Toub. He also was a key STer under Toub during his playing days in Chicago.
  21. I was apparently a few hours too early in looking for this information (though only the top 10 teams are listed):
  22. Interesting stat that (IMO) illustrates what is currently setting Baker Mayfield apart from other rookies:
  23. Thanks for digging up an example. I remember that throw from the all-22; looked like he mis-judged the amount of air he needed to put under it. If you want to call that an accuracy issue I'll roll with it and agree. Can you also agree that it's in stark contrast to the majority of his turnovers?
