I really don't think there is that big of a risk. This current team is on a course to be the best team of all time who didnt qualify for the playoffs. They blew a few games this season, mainly due to coaching, as they have in the past. We have a quarterback uniquely gifted to a degree the league has never seen. Pegula and Beane can interview and do background on 70 people if they want. I think I trust Beane on his judgement. I get we can be snakebit by our past Buffalo Bills coaches... but those were un-serious searches by bad management, unwilling to spend money, and a franchise that was unattractive to coaches who had any alternative. That is not the case now. Coaches would line up for a chance to coach a Josh Allen team.

McDermott has to be fired on black monday. No ifs, ands or buts. A decently successful coach normally doesnt have dozens of people jumping at the chance to tell their negative stories about him. Daboll was ready to walk, even without a HC job, Frasier quit, Beasley warned everyone about this for years, and Wawrow's vagueposting makes more sense. McDermott is a cancer that is not worth having as it was. Get him out of here, and get an innovative offensive coach who can get the most out of the most athletically gifted quarterback in the history of the sport.

Cleveland has been like a pitching factory

Soto is going to be a bear to re-sign. Especially when he cracks more than 50 home runs over that wiffle ball fence. great trade for the Padres considering they had a really weak hand

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
May Day 10 replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
It beats me. Also, the lack of any sort of virtual fly throughs, concept drawings, renderings, etc is really unprecedented. Actually its odd how little the public has seen of this stadium. It actually makes me hesitant to plunk any money down when they ask for it. -
Yeah, I'm sure there will be plenty of swamps/backwoods stuff. Your going to have beaches, and I bet they have diversity in multiple cities and have a Miami, Tampa/pirate type theme/feel, and Orlando with Disney/theme park stuff and such. There will be plenty of fun.

It looks great. They really nailed the look of Florida and some cool looking weather too. Gameplay is important. GTA IV is probably the most realistic looking and physics GTA game and it is my least favorite of all the main GTA games by far. I like the idea of Florida, and from the trailer this looks outstanding... but I really love GTA based in San Andreas though due to the use of the different cities and vastly different landscapes like desert, forest, and mountain.

I get why they are mad and everything... But I think they got it right. No matter what they chose, people would complain. We probably have the best possible matchups. I welcome the expanded playoffs.

Team is floundering. Have only played a complete game a few times out of their 25 games. Coaching change is needed before it is too late.

They need to make an example of him and he needs to be fired from the Eagles and NFL. This is a really terrible precedent. For one, you got a starter on the other team ejected with zero cost to the home team. Second, this guy is now a household name and will be loved in Philadelphia and his actions will be glorified. I'm sure Chickies and Petes will name a sandwich after him called the Big Dom. That's not good. Others could be looking for their 15 minutes of fame. JAGs shouldn't and can't be going out and interacting with players like that. Especially an individual who is head of security, and is responsible from keeping civilians from doing stupid things like he just did.

I tuned out weeks ago. They stink and continue to empower terrible management Nobody in the organization hates to lose. It's all about communication and sticking with some nonsensical plan

Sources say ZERO PERCENT chance McD is fired
May Day 10 replied to Brand J's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, I took note of that too. I thought there was a chance the team could have quit following the Denver game, 12 men, and the Dorsey firing. Say what you will, but they came to play vs the Jets and Eagles. I dont think its the end of the world if McDermott stays. This ownership can and will do a lot worse. -
Sources say ZERO PERCENT chance McD is fired
May Day 10 replied to Brand J's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe this a lot more than Florio shooting from the hip. I think this team would have to endure a colossal melt-down in the locker room and on the field the final 5 games in order for any coaching change to be considered- 502 replies

Von Miller faces arrest in domestic violence case in Dallas
May Day 10 replied to ArdmoreRyno's topic in The Stadium Wall
So what I get out of it is.... if he gets suspended by the NFL, the Bills dont have to pay him for 2024 and can release him and be off the hook? Sounds too 'good' to be true -
That sounds like it would save money for this year (next?) but isnt clear about the rest

They need to have a terrific draft

This was probably the worst contract in the nfl. Much worse now. -

It was really bad. The opportunity cost in getting a player(s) to really put this team over the hump (like a 1B receiver) has been crippling You wonder though if they had that money, whether or not Edmunds would currently be our ILB -

Hopefully there is some kind of conduct relief in his contract if it turns out he committed this act. Miller seems like a well put together guy. Id be surprised if he stooped to something like this, but passion and broads will get ya. This Miller signing has been a huge albatross for this team and has been a huge factor in holding them back from the next step. -
The LaFontaine move was actually his one really good decision with the Sabres. LaFontaine had Craig Patrick behind the scenes advising him, and ownership was to be completely cut off from hockey. What I hear is that Kim Pegula was constantly crossing beams with LaFontaine's duties and it resulted in a blow up after only a few months. With all his difficulty with the Sabres, I thought for sure Pegula would have someone on staff during the Bills purchase process who would be planning and coordinating. Once the purchase was complete, the Bills would be restructured to finally join the 21st century. Instead he was 'impressed' Russ Brandon knew his way around the building and he gave him even more authority. What a rube.

8th late-game defensive meltdown this season
May Day 10 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
It happened a bit last year too. Jets and Minnesota come to mind. Detroit's offense was an unstoppable force at the end too. If allen didn't hit that miracle pass to diggs, the lions were winning
