  1. As a fan of Cleveland sports for the most part, Lebron can pi$$ off.
  2. I dont think it would work quite like that. They definitely want JBJ's team to bid. Raises the value of all teams if the Bills sell for more. Once bids are in, maybe Goodell steps in and tells the trust and Pegula that they will approve Pegula unanimously and immediately under the stipulation the GTA market is not protected,
  3. i love this guy. He nails it
  4. What price is there (if any) to preserving their Patriarch's legacy and their family being viewed by an entire region as "family". The Wilsons would be honored any time they came to town, and I will be willing to bet we will see a street named after RW and a statue once we know where the Bills will be playing long term.
  5. Basically, that says "Stop calling us, Wawrow"
  6. I wouldnt be shocked if they had a silent deal to expand to Toronto later this decade.... but they do (as does the trust) want the Toronto group(s) to bid in good faith as it will drive up the price as well as all the other franchises' worth And Goodell would want that boogeyman public. Also adds urgency to the stadium cause
  7. never trust(ed) Goodell and the owners in this. Until this franchise is locked in, Ill remain terrified
  8. oh yeah, I agree. I consider them the biggest threat and a very real one.
  9. Tanenbaum is worth just north of $1 Billion, Bon Jovi $300 Million, Leiweke isnt billionaire level. MLSE as a whole is only worth like $2.5 Billion. Pegula should beat that group Unless they have a sugar daddy
  10. looking forward to an outdoor football stadium to replace that "thing". Ill definitely czech out ACC games. If a game were moved to RWS, count me in.
  11. This really makes me nervous. I dont trust either of those dudes* *Goodell is an extension of the 31 NFL owners
  12. Definitely noticed we hit some milestone
  13. thats always been the issue. And why I think it is absolutely critical Pegula is engaged by the sale. He is the kind of guy who seems to think big and set the market himself.
  14. I really hope it all doesnt go dark for a few months. It seems like we are being fed a positive nugget to chew on once a week or so. I need it for my sanity.
  15. he bidding stage is likely clearly defined, and probably includes multiple rounds.
  16. Pegula turfed everyone when the results didnt happen. He started rough, but seems to have learned on the fly. He tried to bring in the top FAs but they wouldnt sign (Richards, Suter, Parise, Doan). Now they are looking to stock up on drafted stars who are forced to be here and then once they are good, the top FAs will want to come here. pretty simple, and correct philosophy. The way the Sabres (and Bills) go with shooting for 8th -10th place is poison for the long-term. The foundation finally collapsed. Pegula wants to win. No doubt. Also he has shown a willingness to do what it takes financially. But we are going to root for trump because a stupid catch phrase on a terrible scripted reality show? Who is to say a willingness to quickly "fire" people every time things arent going your way is the right path?
  17. Looking at the new footage... We are lucky he fell where he did and nearly went through untouched. He did hit that guys head... I'm assuming it was the teacher... but it was kind of a glancing blow. I'm skeptical the injuries are overstated, but even as listed it could have been much worse
  18. I actually agree with the Gleason article. Its not too negative. Basically says that he needs to learn from what happened with the Sabres since he took over.
  19. Did he mean it could warn someone like mlse and bon Jovi to make a deal with a sugar daddy? (Rogers)
  20. Count me in on the "it was never funny" group.
