Lou Saban Named to the Bills' Wall of Fame

I felt bad. You can tell he was taken off guard by that question and didn't know anything about saban. -
Throwback logo/unis should be full-time

I am on board 100% with the standing Buffalo being the best kit. They just look fabulous out there. Its classy. I dont hate the current uniforms though. White helmets with the current shade of Blue and White are pretty strong. -
We're #OnToNewEngland (Pats* don't seem too worried)

I would say that the crappyness of the Division has been the most important/helpful factor for the Patriots' success over the past 15 years... just ahead of the cheating. The extra wins always give them enough to get home playoff games which brings teams into the palace of cheating and allows the Pats to make Super Bowls. If they had a tougher division, couldnt get home field, and had to grind playoff games on the road, they dont have nearly this amount of success. -

it was great. I dont even think a lot of people around me fully understood what that name up there signals. Was wonderful seeing the family's reaction. Despite seeing the cover over the name and the ceremony... I never put 2 and 2 together and blew my socks off with the cover was taken off. Well done. Also, where are those beautiful AFL Championship banners going?.... hopefully hanging somewhere. -
Where Does This Win Rank?
May Day 10 replied to Dont Stop Billeiving's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If this team goes on and has a good season, this win will rank high. As a statement of when the Bills arrived back in the NFL. The previous recent wins against good teams (while great) all had a smoke and mirrors/luck element. Tipped INTs, special teams TDs, Jordy Nelson dropping a sure TD, etc. However, this game was the Bills looking like an outstanding, competent, and well-coached team beating an inferior team. The 'inferior' team happens to be an "AFC Finalist" and a popular SB pick. If they beat the Patriots in the same fashion Sunday, look out and preserve your spot on the hypewagon. Itll be a fun ride we all deserve. -
Darryl Talley to lead the charge vs. Pats*

Yes! -
basically this. You have to responsibly end the tailgate earlier. Makes it stress free. I was in line about 6 people deep, took about 2 minutes, and was in my seat with about 30 minutes to go until kickoff.

What a difference the Ownership Makes

Pretty much this. I will be happy to see the Ralph Wilson statue go up someday. he is the father of the Bills and a very generous man. For example, the Hospice facility he and Mary funded is breathtaking in both beauty and service. However, I feel like the way the team was run on moth balls in the last 10-15 years or so was kind of running out the clock. I sense Mr Wilson also was kind of stuck in the older days to some degree when the players did not have the bargaining power they currently possess. Pegulas on the other hand recognize that it is Buffalo/WNY and you have to treat the players above and beyond to get them to like and appreciate the area and organization. That goes for perks as well as dealing with contract talks... generally everything when dealing with a player. Jarius Byrd would have been handled completely differently for example. IMO they would have probably had him traded to a team willing to work on a deal and not be stuck here on the tag and unhappy, only to be lost for nothing, and to add insult to injury, tell teammates and other members of the NFLPA that Buffalo wasnt good for him. -
Who even knows at this point? I'm not so sure. This thing seems to go very, very deep. Brady's numbers and wins have got to be inflated quite a bit by having the ability to call into the correct play, knowing the defense throughout his career. Does he even have a 'highlight reel'? or is it just a long history of 'finding the right play'? Looking at his combine workout he looks like a contest winner.
-
I remember the narrative in the early mid 00s was how much preparation brady did throughout the week to prepare for his opponent. Hmmmm. This team constantly let's talent walk, notches drafts, allows coordinators and execd to walk (who always stink elsewhere)... key injuries, yet they never miss a beat? The bills botch a 1st rounder and we pay for it for like 4 years

What action do you even want from whom? -

You would need millions. Not that many people are that outraged. We want the "nfl to suspend them". They just tried that. I'm angry. But not watching the games won't help. I feel like the nfl isn't going to tolerate this anymore and I'm satisfied with it. They went over the top with the football thing. I believe they acknowledge internally they botched spygate. -

Lol good luck with that. The ratings for nfl games are a machine. Say this thing gets huge. You get 30,000 people to purposely tune out patriots games. It's not a fraction of a dent. -

Fan driven boycotts have 100% chance of failure. 200% chance vs the nfl. -
On one hand I'm furious. IF anyone has been the brunt of this garbage the most.... it's us. I'd also be really mad if I were manning or the colts. I'm also frustrated that wilson, coaches, and Co kind of stood idly and allowed this to happen I'm our faces. On the other hand, I knew all this was happening and just felt like we were stuck in an eternal stacked deck for the patriots. The way the league and kraft massaged the story and evidence really made being a fan hopeless. The league came at them hard this time though and I truly believe kraft has been put on notice. Why is this ernie adams still allowed to work with the team though?

I'm pretty mad as a fan. Especially since it pointed out that "efforts" were concentrated against Buffalo, Miami, and the Jets. I really think we need a class action suit against the NFL based on all this crap and the fact that they didn't do anything about it. I spent a lot of money and time following this team and being stuck with these cheaters has diminished my returns as a fan... for like 15 years. The media should really hold "good guy" Kraft to the fire on this. The guy who pretended to be "appalled" by the limited info that originally came out about this. Based on that, he should take a stand for fair play and make some changes, apologize to fans, no? Goodell should also be sent off a plank for what he did. The Martz story was deplorable. I actually know one. He is still a fan, but if you press him on the cheating... since deflategate and specifically the Wells report, he admits there is no defending them anymore.

The one game that stands out for me was the home game a few years ago (the Spiller fumble game?) The Bills were handling the Pats and led at halftime. The Pats came out of the half with like 3 plays and guessed correctly 100% of the time and scored a TD on like 6 straight possessions. It was either a counter run to Bolden or Ridley, a seam to Gronk, or a quick sideline or slant pass Welker or Lloyd. They "guessed" right every single time and scored 45 second half points. It was uncanny. I have seen halftime adjustments, but nothing like that. Come on.

It would be tough to impose any sort of retro punishments. In a perfect world, I would like to see a period of cap restrictions as well as NFL 'auditors' with full access to all aspects of the organization for an indefinite period of time. I have little doubt that there is much more going on than just the footballs
