  2. The bills needed to force a turnover or two. It has been a good effort versus a more talented team on the road.
  3. He is better in the pocket and finds his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th reads better than any other college QB. He also throws a great deep ball and his teammates love him. He is on the short side and there are some concerns about his character but he should be our pick in round 1.
  4. I feel like last year was our chance to get a franchise and and we missed it. I don'thave a good feeling about this year's group.
  5. Cap space and draft picks are resources. Picking up Cousins would eat up a lot of cap space but preserve a lot of draft picks. The 5 players we draft in the first 3 rounds should be quality players who will have a cheap salary for 4-5 years. This should offset some of Cousins huge contract. My only reservation is that teams with slightly above average QBs with huge salaries have not done well recently.
  6. Taylor averages 5 interceptions per season. Peterman will have more than that in one half. Lol.
  7. People will consider this an overreaction, but I'm pretty sure it is time for a new coach and gm. Things could turn around at some point, but based on their decisions so far I think we are in trouble.
  8. My biggest fear is that he plays well enough for us to pass on a QB in the draft then we find out next year that he isn't a "franchise QB."
  9. At least the Bills will know if the kid can play or not. If he isn't good then the Bills draft a QB. If he can play the Bills can build a team around him.
  10. I agree with the original poster but how many of these relax or the world is going to end discussions do we need. Can we consolidate them?
  11. I don't think the Bills will lay over and die like years past but I do think this game will keep them out of the playoffs. My prediction is they finish 9-7.
  12. The Jets have played good football this year and we are much better at home than on the road. I don't think this is a trap game. It is simply a even match that we need to find a way to win.
  13. The bills never ask for too much. They typically ask for too little.
  14. Every time a player like Watson or Zach Thomas plays well someone will make this type of post. More times than not a player who doesn't have the right measurables fails.
  15. I loved what I saw when I watched him play but I had a lot of concerns myself. Not every great passer in college succeeds in the NFL.
  16. Just to be fair, 90% of the people on here didn't want the Bills to draft Watson. They complained about his arm strength due to slow ball velocity.
  17. He would have been cheap this year. If they picked up the option he would have cost 11 million next year. The year after that they could have used the franchise tag. I'm guessing they were concerned about the culture of the team or his injury history because what Sammy wanted in terms of a new contract wouldn't matter until the 3rd year of the new regime.
  18. I was fine with tanking thus season. Now that I see how competitive this team is I wish we had 2 WRs who can play. Tyrod is good enough with or defense if we had more offensive weapons.
  19. Why doesn't Tyrod run the ball. We have no WRs capable of getting open.
  20. I can't believe how well this team does with so little talent.
  21. Did Miller get benched? I noticed he is not starting.
  22. We sat in front of three very intoxicated fans who threatened us a couple of years ago. On 3 different occasions we asked customer service to be moved to another open seat. After being denied we texted security. When security arrived the 3 drunk fans made similar accusations against us and the Bills threatened to take away our season tickets. I haven't been to a game since. I had season tickets for close to a decade.
  23. Doesn't Denver usually struggle in Buffalo?
  24. Everyone claims that Joe Thomas is a first ballot hall of fame offensive lineman but he has never been able to block Jerry Hughes. He is a very good player in the 43.
  25. When Lynn was our offensive coordinator teams knew we were going to run and we ran all over them anyways. The change in offensive scheme and the loss of Sammy really hurt.
