    I think McKelvin's issue is that he just doesn't know how to make a play on the ball. He always seems to be position, but just can't seem to knock it down, fight the receiver, etc.

    Looking at the interview on BB.com with Buddy and Chan, it seems like TJ was really "Chan's guy." Also hilarious when they ask Buddy if he considered trading up in the 2nd, and he goes something like "Well we did it in the third, gave up a 7th rounder...we're riverboat gamblers!"

    Possible he was disappointed he didn't get picked by Carolina and stay in the same state. He did get smiley when they gave him the hat and he went on stage.

    Just read that they are considering a trade of first round picks with the Sabres.

    Googled him, some better shots downfield in this reel. He does have a pretty quick release and some good strength. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5G6B-snaSM Edit - at 5:50 he throws a pretty nice 53 yarder by my count, and *almost* catches the receiver in stride.

    I would be thrilled with one or two good tackle prospects, but part of me wonders if Nix is being especially vocal about his plans in order to light a fire under Bell to re-sign.
