  1. We’re gonna miss Tremaine more than most think. Good thing McBeane drafted his replacement last year 🙄
  2. That and Von goes down and 2 second round picks completely fail to replace him. how about the fact that we don’t have a single backup OL that he drafted? I also have no clue how he selects running backs. Not a single feature back amongst them for being drafted in the second and third rounds.
  3. I’m on the fence. I think Beane has done some really good things here and he’s a great guy. But I think the end of this season had more to do with his poor drafting than any coach or player. The thought of giving him another draft after 4 straight subpar draft classes is concerning.
  4. Signing running backs on their second contracts is not smart. There will be cheaper options available but trusting Beane to pick a #1 RB has proven to be futile at this point.
  5. Either none of his RBs were drafted to be #1’s or his evals are brutal. Singletary is clearly a #2 and limited. Moss was a 205 pound “power back” from the PAC 12 who is the very definition of JAG. Cook was never a #1. Not in high school or college. If his brother wasn’t a stud he would’ve been a 4th or 5th rounder. If Beane was commited to finding a true #1 he had his chances and could’ve traded up for a few last year. I honestly don’t know what the hell he’s thinking
  6. I’d love to have 5 elephants in the room and line them up in the O Line
  7. I said it another thread and started one last night. We are all saying the same thing at this point. Only the true hard core slurpers don’t see this. We can’t let Josh’s prime years be wasted by mediocre drafts and blind loyalty. Not to mention the competition in the AFC is not going to be easy moving forward. We gotta pivot
  8. I don’t see how we can let Edmunds go unless you think Bernard is the guy. Oliver is already resigned for another year. We have no choice but to let Poyer go. I don’t want to invest in a safety who’s turning 32.
  9. This is one of those threads where fans look to blame every single player/coach for this failure. Von changed the dynamic of this defense and single handedly won the KC game. The D hasn’t been the same since he went down. He did his job
  10. Mcbean’s drafting ineptitude should be put into one big mega thread. Their record speaks for itself. Tons of JAGS. My favorite thing is when one of the JAGS makes a play someone saying, “Oh is he a bust now!?” Then said player is never heard from for the rest of the game.
  11. I don’t know how you can defend his track record at this point. I think he’s a great person personally but he’s got a generational talent at QB who’s legs have a limited shelf life. 4 straight years of non impact role players is just gonna waste another golden opportunity for the Bills.
  12. I clearly said in the last 4 years. I started the thread saying the same. You sound drunk. This is pointless LOL
  13. My expectation isn’t to have every player hit. I’m we’ll aware that there are busts on every team. Not drafting a single pro bowler or elite player in 4 years is not acceptable. There are plenty of rookies that start. If AJ or Boogie were good picks we wouldn’t have go blow out our cap to sign Von. Do you see how those two misses not only efect games like today but negatively impact next year as well?
  14. The pick was a complete failure. You keep going back to the 6.5 sacks like he’s some kind of pass rush specialist. He was drafted in the 2nd round - the first pick of that draft - to start and make an impact on every down. He literally only recorded stats in 9 of 17 games, was inactive for a couple and dropped to 4th on the DC after Von went down. And what they did with his development is exactly the problem. Their vision to slim him down and take always his best attribute was completely wrong. Did I mention him? There were plenty of guys there when we drafted - it didn’t need to be an edge player - which AJ wasn’t. There draft class is far better and doubled the snaps of ours. They’re also in the AFCCG logging serious snaps so there’s that. AJ “having moments” is exactly the problem. It’s his 3rd year. He was a 2nd rounder. He should be starting not 4th in the DE rotation. Boogie is beyond underwhelming no matter how you want to spin it.
  15. You didn’t mention that he only had 13 total tackles and fell to #4 on the depth chart even after Von went down. So obviously the coaches think he’s not very good as well. It’s also his 3rd year and you’d hope for him to at least push to be a starter.
  16. AJ was never a pure pass rusher. Aj would been much better off keeping or even adding weight and playing 5 tech or even playing 3. He was never a bender or an athlete - he was heavy handed and powerful with good technique and that’s how he got to the QB. Instead we draft him and slim him down taking away his best asset, which was power and he’s been completely useless since coming here. So instead of drafting need, which there were other players on the board that we needed, why not draft the best player or trade back? How’s that context?
  17. Wait are you serious? KC has gotten a ton of production and snaps from 6 of their top 7 picks this year. Karlaftis, Mcduffie and Watson all start. Moore, Cooke, WIliams and Chenal all play a ton. Cody Ford, AJ, Boogie?
  18. This is a great point. Every team’s offense is gonna be crushed if the QB goes down but how many offense would cave without their #1 WR like the Bills would? Cook was a reach in the 2nd.. Everyone is enamored with his speed but he will never be a #1 RB becasue he hates contact and is waful in pass pro. He has never been physical and never will be. That was literally the knock on him coming out of High School and he ain’t changing. Spot on. The Elam, Cook and Boogie picks are perfect examples of that.
  19. Without context of what? Never said that but expecting a single impact player isn’t a very lofty expectation.
  20. This years might be the worst. Like you said, other than Shakir, we didn’t have a single rookie make a difference today and most of the year. Everyone wants to crown Cook but he’ll never be a 3 down back. He is the softest runner I’ve ever seen. And LOL at Bernard. That pick was bizarre.
  21. He’s been invisible this year and we’re gonna pay him 11 mil next year
  22. Not a single elite player drafted the last 4 years. Nothing but role players and blown picks.
