  1. Why does Andre Smith remind you of Mike Williams? Because you're a Bills fan thats why! Smith dominated the SEC for 3 years starting when he was a true freshman. He was a 3 time All American/SEC and he won the Outland trophy by the time he was 21. Look at what happened to Alabama when Smith got suspended, they got rolled by Utah! The dude is a difference maker who acted his age for a month, otherwise he had a squeaky clean record at Bama. Take Peter's or Walker's shirt off and let them run the 40, it ain't gonna be pretty! The Mike Williams comparisons have to stop because Williams never came close to doing what Smith has done ON THE FIELD!
  2. Wow, way to rip that from PFT! No player is going to take anything detectable as far as performance enhancers go. Prospects go with water based steroids, which clear the system quickly or HGH which they don't test for. Its probably some dude who couldn't pass up the doob like a dummy.
  3. That episode was effin hilarious! Ali G's gay character Bruno was cheerleading on the sidelines and the Bama fans were losing their minds! My favorite part is where Bruno calls Shaud Williams "Shaudy"! Enjoy!!!!!! http://alabama.fandome.com/video/79072/Bru...Shaud-Williams/
  4. What are you expecting from a second year QB and an absolute bust? 99% of second year QB's are very up and down. Knowing that the offensive gameplan should have been WAY MORE run heavy! -In the Jets game we trust JP to execute in crunchtime? -The OC calls a pass on 3 and 1 at your own 9 yard line with your QB stuggling! -Calling 35 passes and only 23 rushes in a close game against Miami? -Follow that up with 35 passes and 16 runs against the Jets? -18 rushes and 23 passes against the Pats the next week? That is terrible gameplanning IMO. You have two legit RB's and a big Oline and your going to make Trent and JP throw to set up the run? I'm not sold on Trent and JP broke all of our hearts (a long time ago) but our OC was inept last year.
  5. Not to be a d*ck, but have you ever watched SJST. play a game? I'm always amazed at the way TBD'ers start posts and form opinions on players that they've never watched play a single down. I get it, those two chubby guys who wish they were scouts like em and his super slow mo CGI enhanced highlights look great but enough already with these posts!
  6. These are his stats from this past year when the weather in is under 40. Doesn't look great to me. BY WEATHER CMP ATT YDS CMP% YPA TD INT RAT Temp. <40 F 57 97 581 58.8 5.99 2 3 70.0
  7. ZING! This is just a guess, but your humorous post leads me to believe that you are some sort of comedian?
  8. Let me help you out there "fella". Making up sh*t like, "I don't see him putting in the work in the offseason." is speculation. Are you around him in the offseason? Most NFL players play golf in the offseason. Brady was playing golf the other day while filming a guest shot on Entourage, he must not be rehabbing! Brady is never in NE in the offseason, neither is Mcnabb or Palmer. Favre didn't stay around GB either! You must be one of those body language experts! If you read my earlier post I think the jury is still out on Trent, do I think he deserves a chance this year? Yes! Do I hope he is successful? Yes, he is the Bills QB! So the only nerve that you touched is the one that sends a signal to my brain that says, "DUMMY ALERT!" By your post I'm guessing that you're not very smart..do you see how unfair that is?
  9. There is opinion and then there is pure speculation. You don't know Trent, you don't play on the Bills and you were not his college roomate. You are taking radio and TV interviews and speculating which is absurd. I don't think he'd text Brandon on the day that TO was cut if he didn't care. I don't think he'd want to take on the challenge of having TO in his huddle if he didn't care. So stick to facts there Sigmund!
  10. Wow, thats early for the Pats homecoming game!
  11. Espn and the media put so much pressure on QBs to be great quickly and it has infected the fans. Favre, Rivers, Warner, Rodgers, Hasselback, Romo all sat years before they were good/great. The Chargers and their fans were ready to run Brees out of town! Then the fans thought the Chargers made a mistake letting Brees go and next thing you know Rivers had the best year of any QB in the NFL last year! I think it's fine to be concerned because he is largely unproven. He will be a third year pro who has looked good and bad...kind of like a QB in his second year always looks. I do think he has done enough good on the field to be optomistic. That being said, he has always been very brittle and has looked bad in cold weather so there is major cause for concern. This is his year to prove himself, he has the weapons, hopefully the Oline will be able to protect him and the running game to be successful. If he gets hurt for an extended period of time, looks lost or can't play in the cold well then...(GULP)......
  12. Thurman Thomas! I have never seen another RB set up blocks the way he did. Everyone says that Roger Craig was the mold of the versatile RB. But Craig played in the first westcoast offense when fullbacks had 40 catches a year! Thurman played in a spread type offense, he would be lined up all over the place, he was a great blocker, he took direct snaps, when was the last time you saw a RB take a direct snap that wasn't in a wildcat formation! He was a true dual threat. The thing to me though that was so amazing about Thurman was that he wasn't this God gifted athlete, he was a God gifted football player like Spielman. If you ever saw the guy in a pair of shorts he was hardly physically impressive, he had no calfs, his arms were doughy and he wasn't even 200 lbs. But when he got on the field he was was the best football player! Oh, and his facemask was awesome!
  13. Wow, this is weird! This is from an interview at the combine where he explains that ...well read for yourself. Q: Since you're from a spread offense, how well-rounded of a tight end are you? A: "Being in a spread offense, not being attached to a tackle in our offense, a lot of people might have questions or doubts about my blocking. I'm pretty sure they can see some of the film. We really didn't do it a whole lot, but I know I can. I've shown it in some games - catching the ball, running routes. That's second nature. That's the easy part for me. I feel good. I just hope I work out as well as I want to, and I definitely think I can. I'm just fortunate to even be here because I've been working out with guys at Perfect Competition, great talent that didn't even get an invite to the combine so I definitely consider this a blessing for me, getting an invite to the combine even though I didn't play the entire season. Being able to come here and perform I definitely consider it a blessing." http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/other/s...0,4046322.story Not attatched to a tackle? Sounds to me like a WR! But he is listed as a TE! "We really didn't do it (BLOCK) a whole lot." Hmmmm, how would he fit into the Bills offense? Colts or anywhere Martz is but not the Bills. Who is the Gators offense gonna be "taylored" to this year now that Ingram is gone?
  14. READ MY POST- It's funny because no where did I say that Ingram wasn't good. I said that there wasn't much to go on at TE and that I think he would have trouble finding a nitch in the NFL. He was used as a WR NOT at TE and when they brought in Hernandez, who was the top TE in the country comin in, Ingram was used at a WR almost all of the time. Hernandez got three starts his True Fr. year and the Gators don't start a two TE set so where was Ingram? I'm guessing at WR. Watch the friggen games, the dude was ALWAYS SPLIT OUT! So Tim Tebow has thrown 62 TD passes and he's run for another 35 in two years and your going to tell me that the offense was built around Ingram? I don't even know why I am defending myself because that could be the dumbest thing that I have ever heard. Lastly, he would be a terrible fit for the Bills. He has never been asked to block, rarely was covered and is constantly injured. Also he has a rap for having his best games against weak competition. His best games during his junior year, his best season, were against Troy, Florida Atlantic and FSU. Fellas, nice try. Watch the games. He was split out all of the time before his injury.
  15. Well Sparty. if you're gonna accuse someone of "making stuff up", YOU better have your facts straight. But you sound very smart. http://cfn.scout.com/2/748986.html Pettigrew is a true tight end who played with his hand on the ground and was versatile enough to split out. He is super fluid for his size and has great hands. His 40 doesn't mean anything because TE's don't run 4.4's. John Carlson ran a 4.88 last year and he looked pretty fricken good as rookie. Quit being a combine expert and try watchin some college football.
  16. There is not much to go on with Ingram. Started out as a QB and then Tebow showed up so they made him a TE/WR. He has never had to block in line. He was basically a big WR with decent speed. He is not used to finding zones in a defense because UF's offense is based on winning match-ups. Even if he wasnt hurt he would not have started over Aaron Hernandez, a true soph, this year. He is a solid athlete and but I think he is gonna have a hard time finding a nitch in the NFL. Top tier kids are going start second guessing going to Florida because of that offense that they run. Look at some of the talent that they have every year that doesnt translate to the NFL. If Percy went to USC where they run an NFL offense, he'd be picked in the top 5. But becasue they kept moving him all around he hasnt shown that he is a true WR therefore he probably fall down to 12-20. Nothing against UF but that offense is for college and their kids don't learn how to play in a real pro style offense.
  17. (Add any recently released players name here) has been cut! Get er dun Russ!!!!!
  18. Great, let's play a team that calls 100% of it's offense at the line in a dome with no noise instead of at The Ralph!
