  1. I’m taking a wait and see approach. If we don’t make it to the Super Bowl in year 5 with an aging roster we need a new process
  2. PFF Grades for Jets game Bernard 44 Brown 56 Cook 64 I know everyone hates PFF when they don’t agree with the numbers but yes, they played like garbage. Cook was the best performer out of the 3 and couldn’t break a tackle by a JV linebacker. Breece Hall, same round/draft, looked better off the ACL but maybe because Bernard was routinely jumping into the wrong gaps. 😂
  3. I’m trying to find in my OG post where I said it was anyone’s fault. I clearly said that “Beane’s failures were on full display” All off-season long there was a large contingent on here that could not believe that Beane did nothing to address RT or MLB in the draft or even bring in any veteran competition. I posted last week that Zach Cunningham, who now starts for the Eagles and was available until the first week of August. I’ve also repeatedly said that Cook is not a 20 touch RB. He’s never been dating all the way back to high school. He’s light in the a$$, isn’t physical enough for pass pro and gets taken down way too easy. He’s a nice complimentary back but he was an awful pick in the 2nd round. I clearly acknowledged joshes and Dorsey’s role in the failure of last night. But that wasn’t the point of my post. The point was all off-season these three positions were major concern and they all played like garbage last night.
  4. Maybe Bernard was doing that on his own because he’s clueless, has no instincts and was guessing all night. But we certainly weren’t repeatedly attacking the interior gaps to stop the run. Maybe if we were playing Navy
  5. One of my buddies i was watching the game with was saying they gotta be run blitzing him. I was like run blitzes are incredibly rare unless you’re playing the titans. He was just picking gaps and not paying attention to his keys at all. It was clear as Day. Not only that but he has zero ability to take on blockers. He was late on a run to the outside and couldn’t cross Bectons face and got absolutely rag-dolled. He has no power or thump. Light hands. I honestly don’t know what they see in him!
  6. I don’t understand why they put Cook in these spots. He’s not an inside runner and has never been. He’s light in the a$$. No ability to run through contact and in fact, he crumbles. It’s weird. He’s a limited back and another Beane failure. He’s not terrible but he’s a niche RB
  7. He’s brutal. Just jumping into gaps all night long. No pop. Lightest hands I’ve ever seen on a MLB. Total joke. To think this staff had Kuechley and Thomas Davis. It’s almost like they can’t admit their evals are wrong. Dude won’t start for another team after he fails here. Total joke.
  8. 1. Spencer Brown sucks. That’s it. He sucks and Beane had plenty of chances to bring in competition. Josh doesn’t trust him. 2. MLB is a disaster and not bringing in a vet to compete was an obvious blunder. Bernard just jumping into gaps was something I’ve never seen before from a NFL MLB. 3. Cook is not a lead back and has never been a lead back. Not in high school, not in college and certainly not in the NFL. You could sneeze on the guy and he’d fall down. Josh was terrible today and Dorsey was brutal but Beane’s failures were on full display tonight.
  9. Some poeple are super happy winning AFCE championships. I’m not. Sorry
  10. I don’t disagree with that but we certainly could’ve used him last year. Which further proves my point that Beane is superior to other GMs at picking the best JAGS
  11. That’s great that he can identify JAGS that never play and let the good one like Hodgins go. Maybe he should have his scouts focus more on the early rounds (outside of this year which was his best year)
  12. Been here for a very long time I just have a life and don’t live on here.
  13. Not sure. Cunningham was hurt last year and is 3 years younger. But one got cut from the worst team in the league and the other is starting for the odds on favortire to win the NFC. That’s a hell of a long game for an old average linebacker.
  14. Could’ve had Zach Cunningham all camp and ready to go at MLB. Now he’s starting for the Eagles. The way McBeane has handled MLB is the biggest headscrater of their tenure.
  15. Ya gotta see what you can get for him at this point but absolutely don’t give him away
  16. Locked on is the best IMO. Marino is super smart and gets his info out quick. He’s also as objective as you can get for being Mafia.
  17. The PFF rating system works like this: 100-90 Elite 89-85 Pro Bowler 84-70 Starter 69-60 Backup 59-0 Replaceable
  18. Funny! I always say people love pff until they disagree with the grade. I’d be more discouraged by his age but I just checked and he did grade out at a 70 last year according to pff😬
  19. Hated the pick too but he put on size and ran a little more aggressive. That’s always been my problem with him, he shies away from contact and that’s why he’s not very good in pass pro. If he can change his physical game, he can be a very effective RB. Let’s hope
  20. Let’s hope Dodson plays better as the preseason moves on and DJ is in front of him.
  21. 1. KC 2. Eagles 3. Bengals 4. Bills 5. Dolphins SF, Ravens, Cowboys I think there’s very little separation between the top 4.
