  1. I like Breese a lot but his injury history is not great. His movement skills and hands are awesome though.
  2. I don’t disagree with that. But as you know modern offenses are not running 21/22 personnel the majority of the time. The B10W offenses are not spreading you out and creating mismatches. They’re running the ball 40 times out of base personnel with bigger backs, nobody in the slot and TEs that are online and not split. That makes coverage a lot easier. I think Campbell will be a good pro but won’t be able to replicate that type of production against the pass in the nfl. I’m also not saying Sanders will either. What I am saying is take the one with the better skill set. Sanders is a great blitzer for a MLB. He’ll be able to give you a few reps on the edge which would allow the Bills D to use Rapp more and play more dime. If McD wants to get more aggressive, Sanders is a guy that helps make the D more dynamic IMO.
  3. Against some of the most archaic offenses in college football. Minnesota, Wisconsin, Northwestern and Illinois have playbooks thst make Tecmo Bowl look modern. He also practices against the worst offense in CFB. B10 West is devoid of skill too. Sanders on the other hand played in the toughest division in CFB, with great skill and collectively the best offensive minds like Kiffin, Freeze, Leach RIP, Denbrock and O’Brien. All he did in his first season off the ball was make first team All Sec with a ridiculous stat line. I’m going with the guy with the dynamic skill set over a MLB who’s seen ISO every other play in his career.
  4. Can’t beat man coverage. Pretty good blocker and runs well after the catch. Extremely overpaid
  5. They were good but it doesn’t show up in his film. Sanders puts it on film and is super versatile
  6. I’d be thrilled with that other than not grabbing an OT earlier. Drew Sanders fits exactly what we want for an MLB. He’s way more athletic than Campbell and is a really good pass rusher. Young in the 3rd is a great value too. Bama DL stick around this league forever. Smith is similar to Rapp and was the heart of the UGA defense. Again, I’d rather grab a OT in the 2nd
  7. This is an awesome signing. Phenomenal depth piece, super versatile. He was the heart and soul of that UW team that made the playoff. Love it
  8. He’s not gonna be there but it’s Wright. Passing up on 5 years of a stud OT on a rookie salary would be criminal. Then again Beane is drafting
  9. Beane’s one of the worst GMs when it comes picking both DL and OL. His adoration for Brown highlights another problem he has - He doesn’t pivot when it’s obvious. Hopefully he’s learned his lessons after 4 awful drafts
  10. I just don’t know what Lawson gives you. I’d rather get an edge type to replace Von while he’s hurt like Houston, Ingram, Ngwuke. I want a rest to pay OT who’s gonna challenge Brown and is capable of taking over in fall camp. I don’t think She’ll is anything more than a backup. DT I agree with and you can usually find one late that can play. I totally forgot about our limited draft picks.
  11. I feel a lot better. The analysts and scouts that I pay attention to like both of the WR we’ve added a lot. Consensus was meh on McGovern and I haven’t heard much about Harris but I think he’ll be our best and most compete back in years if he stays healthy. Id still love to add 2 OL, a TE and a slot through the draft.
  12. Honestly I don’t think I know a single fan that didn’t think they weren’t gonna roll us. 2 TDs minimum
  13. Best of luck to him. He was a gaimer and reached his ceiling here.
  14. If Beane, who’s draft record 4 years in a row is awful, is that rigid in his approach to the draft then he’s undoubtedly the problem. Last year was a perfect example when Smith, a future PB guard goes the pick after Elam who sat the bench the whole year. Meanwhile, Beane dives into the bargain bin and pulls out the WORST OL IN THE LEAGUE and the rest is history. Also Explain to me what a “non valuable position” is also?
  15. Yes building an OL between your franchise QB makes you mediocre. Beane’s OL picks in “value” rounds suck too and drafting DL early ain’t his thing either. Might as well switch it up.
  16. So just ignore Josh‘s UCL injury which was reported to limit his throwing motion, the complete lack of offensive skill, the OL play and Beane’s putrid draft record 4 years running?
  17. I get your point but there were so many analysts that I respect in the media like Cosell, Sam Monson and Sims calling out the lack of talent surrounding Josh and the awful OL all season. I’m not saying Dorsey is perfect but when your #2 can’t uncover or catch, your slot is so bad that he was replaced by a guy who sat on a couch for 15 weeks and your 4th year RB is clearly not prioritized by a single team in the NFL, you're playcalling is gonna be effected. I’d also mention that sometime Josh is gonna do what Josh is gonna do regardless of scheme. The Dolphins playoff game was a perfect example of that. Guys were wide open underneath all game but he refused to take the easy stuff. Lastly, this is the NFL, not college. The idea of scheming guys wide open rarely happens and if it does it’s probably a busted coverage. Shanahan is the one guy who does that but we don’t have their OL and supporting cast around Josh. Beane’s draft record the last 4 years is awful and his skill and OL picks have been brutal. Not a single playmaker in 4 years. Not a single OL worth anything in 4 years. Dorsey just got here as an OC
  18. Offense actually improved statistically. Josh’s arm limited the quick screen game, OL was horrible, Gabe Davis caught 50% of passes thrown to him, L’Dirty experiment failed and we don’t have a RB on the roster capable of taking over a game. But yeah Dorsey is the problem.
  19. Beane’s horrible draft record building an OL and DL were completely exposed against the Bengals. When we needed AJ, Basham, Greg and Oliver to step up they were non existent. This was literally Beane’s focus the last 3 years of the draft. Same with the OL. Brown is the only starter he drafted and one of the worst OTs in the league. There wasn’t a single draft pick of his in the 2 deep besides Brown. Completely unacceptable. After QB, the DL and OL are the most important units in football and the Bengals game exposed his ineptitude in the draft. Chiefs are 2-0 against us in the playoffs and the Bengals are 1-0. Anyone saying we’re in par with those teams is simply being a homer. Now the guy who’s botched 4 straight drafts is in charge of the reset. I’m not super optimistic
  20. Peak of the NFL pyramid? Not in the playoffs. There’s a lot less luck involved in the NFL than other sports. 1&2 seeds go the majority of the time. We haven’t won a AFCCG in 4 years. The one we made we were blown out. The Bengals beat KC in arrowhead in the AFCCG in the first year of their run. This year was their second year, they walked into OP and thoroughly whooped our a$$. Then lost on a last second kick on their second straight AFCCG in KC against the eventual champs. So comparing the Bengals in their second year of their run to us, in year 4, is insane. No matter how much you don’t want to believe it, the Bengals have passed up by and its soley because of Beane’s failure to build the OL/DL and surround Josh with another weapon not named Diggs.
  21. Well it depends on how you fail. If you have a bunch of injuries across the DL and all the guys you drafted in the 1st and 2nd rounds to get to the QB can’t sniff him I think that’s failure. If you’ve only drafted 1 starting OL in 4 years and he’s horrible, that’s failure. If your idea of giving Josh the best weapons to succeed is settling for Singletary, a FA RB, who is getting zero attention on the open market I think that’s failure. We’ve been to 1 AFCG in the last 4 years and got blown out. That’s failure IMO
  22. YAY! Let’s play for meaningless AFCE titles! It’s been 4 years. The only aim should be a SB. Good lord
  23. He seems to dominate backups and no shows against better opponents. His problem is his draft slot and the fact that 6 of 8 DL taken in the first round of that draft have made pro bowls. Beane should hire a OL/DL consultant to assist in his drafts
