  2. Bless you. I vote for the last one, actually.
  3. Outdoor Life Network? What, is the NHL playing pond hockey this year?
  4. Sometimes the handles in the handicapped stall come in handy. I think Howie Mandel did a bit on that once. "Hey buddy, that stall's for the handicapped!" "Well, I was when I came in here!"
  5. That's week five for us. I think the Dolphins are off that week. Or it's the other way around. Either way, his first game back isn't against us.
  6. He's defoliated whole tracts of Humboldt County land.
  7. Sounds like he was having a rough go of it in there. Maybe it was the coffee.
  8. Only a loser would say they wouldn't want to get to the Super Bowl, just like only a loser makes fun of the Bills for getting to four in a row.
  9. Officer Stacey Sheridan on TJ Hooker!
  10. Not quite true. We also let him go because he was 33 years old. Simon is much younger and you'd rather pay for future production than past performance.
  11. Can Time Warner get the damn channel on before the season starts? I'd like to get my money's worth out of them for once.
  12. If it looks anything like the avatar in this post, I'll be all over it.
  13. Didn't know that about Cookie. I do seem to recall that Ralph still hasn't forgiven Lou for quitting the team during his second stint. For my money, Lou belongs -- both for his first stint (in which he won two AFL titles) and his second (in which he rejuvenated O.J.'s career after John Rauch and Harvey Johnson nearly destroyed it).
  14. Well that's the other thing. Will the Hall be treated the same way as the Wall, with Ralph's personal grudges getting in the way of rightful honors? I'm thinking of both Cookie and Lou Saban here.
  15. I think Andre will eventually get in but unfortunately he's going to be one of those old guys, like Tommy McDonald a few years back, when he gives his induction speech.
  16. What I hate is that Wellington Mara and Dan Rooney have gotten in in recent years when all they did was inherit teams from their daddies. Ralph built this organization, and helped build the AFL, from the ground up.
  17. The interesting thing about this will be seeing how the O.J. exhibit is handled, and how they'll handle inviting the inductees to ceremonies if, as I'm sure will happen, he is one.
  18. Especially since Al Davis and Lamar Hunt have both been in for a long time, and unlike them, Ralph never moved his team (though he had plenty of opportunities to do so). Tasker is another guy who deserves to get in. His situation is similar to those of Hoyt Wilhelm and Jan Stenerud. It took the voters a long time to decide that relievers and kickers deserved to make their respective sports' Halls, but once they did, Wilhelm and Stenerud were the obvious choices. Tasker will be the obvious and automatic choice once voters figure out that special teamers belong.
  19. My understanding on autographs was that the sessions were open to kids 14 and under. Am I wrong?
  20. That's true. We never lost a Super Bowl by that many points!
  21. OMG the link to the actual comments by Bills fans is some of the funniest damn stojan I've ever read.
  22. That he does. Shula doesn't, though. Anyone catch him nodding when Marino called him "the greatest coach of all time"?
  23. It was and he also mentioned that he and Jim had been friends for a long time. Young went first, though, and he had already mentioned the Kellys. Class move by both QBs.
  24. Not only that but he made a joke at the beginning of his speech that was all about himself (how someone mistook him for Y.A. Tittle). Nothing's more annoying than a presenter at an awards banquet who thinks the spotlight is on him.
  25. Too bad because his dad didn't realize that the inductee's speech is supposed to be longer than the presenter's. Jeez, I think Grit's still yapping up there.
