Tua and Hurts will never get to the promised land

It makes it harder to play QB when you're not the only team on the field with NFL-caliber starters. -

In his first two seasons, Allen had six fourth-quarter comebacks and eight game-winning drives. I'll stop there. -

This is funny. He never looked like this. -
He's that kind of guy. Reminds me of when Andre caught 15 passes against Green Bay and then Jerry Rice went out in the late game and caught 16, just because. So I have no doubt Brady wanted to do just that. But whatever. Brady could throw for more TDs and more yards (against a worse team, in better weather) and it still wouldn't come close to what Josh did yesterday. He's already had more incompletions, and two drives so far haven't ended in TDs, and it's only the first half.

I have a feeling we won’t be seeing as many of them making the trip for some time to come. For one thing, even if they wanted to, they wouldn’t be able to get tickets.

40 years later and Joe Montana still won’t admit he was throwing the ball away. Josh is like, “yeah whatever, take that one, I threw four others.”

Lot of Chief fans terrified of prospect of facing the Bills next week...
BRH replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
I see some people saying that this happened because the Patriots were bad, not because the Bills were any good. Which makes you wonder how they justify our blowout of them from earlier this year. -
It kills me that their fans think something nefarious happened on the bye week. Nothing happened. After the bye they started playing better teams, with the exception of Jacksonville. That's all. There's also the very real possibility that the Pats and their QB hit their ceiling during that winning streak.

It's cute watching their fanbase continue to try to convince themselves that they have their franchise QB, too. Mac Jones didn't have a terrible game last night. But he didn't make a single throw or play that made your jaw drop, or that any other normal run-of-the-mill NFL QB couldn't have made, or that made you think he has a higher ceiling. He's an average QB with an average arm who will have an average career. He's not the next Brady and he will never be on a level with Herbert, Burrow, or Mahomes.... let alone Allen. Deep down, their fans know this now.

I’ve seen more than a few bitter Pats fans complain about us running up the score last night. Delicious irony.

Meanwhile…on the Patriots Board /Update: thread deleted

that’s hilarious. One guy actually said it could have been a Pats blowout if it wasn’t for the refs. -
Technically it was a little more than 6 quarters 😕

On my birthday last June, my son went 5-5 with a long home run, a double, and 5 RBI in his last regular-season HS game. Might have been my best birthday ever. Saturday is my son’s birthday so I’m counting on the Bills to return the favor for him.
