  1. That was Emmitt Smith. This was Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson.
  2. Remember earlier in the week when Belichick said he doesn’t pay attention to the weather until he gets to the stadium? We all knew he was lying, so why didn’t our coaches?
  3. He’s not wrong about that either.
  4. He’s not wrong about that
  5. If that’s Gronk and Brady the game probably doesn’t even get to that point because those two roughing-the-passers are called.
  6. He was going to Sanders and the safety made a hell of a play, that’s how I saw it. He should have gone to Beasley though.
  7. Anyone out here blaming Allen needs their head examined. period.
  8. Really plays havoc with that clipboard, eh Scotty?
  9. That won't stop the media from talking about them. This I agree with 100%
  10. The storyline will be "wait til the Bills have to go to NE in a couple of weeks." The national media isn't going to give up on the Pats* storyline without a fight.
  11. This is a team that needed a 66-yard field goal to beat the Lions. I can believe they lost. He threw it earlier than he wanted to and got more on it than he needed to because he panicked. It was a bad throw. I don't understand how anyone can lay that on Andrews. Especially given the number of times Andrews has bailed him out this year.
  12. Going by the numbers it’s absolutely the right decision, just as it was right for us to go for it in Tennessee rather than kick the FG. No problem with the decision. Glad it worked out the way it did, too.
  13. I think Gene Simmons already holds those trademarks And by the way, there is nothing Mac Jones can trademark that would come close to the sheer egregiousness of Brady trying to trademark "Tom Terrific" -- while Tom Seaver was suffering from dementia, no less.
  14. It's pretty amazing that there's so much doom and gloom about the weather by Bills fans when Mac Jones grew up in Jacksonville and played at Alabama, and has NEVER seen a night like he's about to see in two days.
  15. I didn't dwell on it because if we had just played well we would have won anyway, but the number of false starts by Jacksonville that were allowed was mind-boggling. This actually happened *before* the Belichick/Brady era, when it was still Pete Carroll and Drew Bledsoe. I don't know if the PI was "phantom," but the point was that PI NEVER gets called in a jump-ball Hail Mary situation unless there is an absolute mugging (and even then only maybe), which there wasn't. The "just give it to 'em," though, that was horrific. It was fourth down and the game would have been over. Little did we know it was a harbinger of things to come.
  16. It will not be how many penalties are called, but when they are called. When it was really bad, you could set your watch by penalties being called on the opponent at a few critical times until the game was safely in hand, and then a few penalties on the Pats* in garbage time so the final totals looked more in balance.
  17. Makes you wonder how thoroughly they checked everyone's card to get to that 100% they were touting. Three game checks? Really?
  18. The meridional flow?
  19. Remember last year when everyone was saying the Dolphins had caught up to the Bills and that second game in OP was going to be the proof of that? The Pats have a six-game winning streak, it's true. In those six games they have beaten, in order: the hapless Jets, the paper-tiger Chargers, the decimated Panthers, the similarly-decimated Browns, the laughable Falcons, and, yesterday, a Titans team missing the three players most responsible for Tennessee scoring enough points to beat the Bills by 3 at home. Congratulations.
  20. You're not going to replace a Tre White one-for-one with anyone in the building or off the street. But that doesn't mean you can't win without him. If this sent you off the wagon, you weren't on it in the first place.
  21. I have no problem with sending that kind of message to fumblers. The Patriots will not abide it at all. Ask Jonas Gray and Steven Ridley, among others, about that. And when you send that message to one guy, other guys pay attention. Singletary seemed to have a tighter hold than usual on the rock last night, didn’t he?
