  1. Regardless of what they think, he don't make them that much better. They still have holes and concerns, besides I got a hex on them until we go to the playoffs again. I drop the music city miracle hex on them.
  2. I am still upset that Chan was released. The state of the team has simply eveolved by them not making picks they should have when they could have and not making moves when they needed to. Chan was offense and QB minded, yet Nix never got him one. JP may have been a good QB but they never got him a line or WR's. I like C.J., but; when they knew then they needed a QB how do they go away from. I liked Nix/Gailey at first; but, I think they let the wrong man go.
  3. Who has Buffalo picked up lately that has really made a difference? 13 YEARS!
  4. Sure why not. Players from other failing teams will just help us to fail some more. I hate to be sarcastic but this is getting really, really old.
  5. Any love for LT Lane Johnson?

  6. The question mark I put on every player in the NFL is money. I question if they deserve the money their repsective team pays them; with that being said you can probably see where this is going. While Ck has been starter many times during his career, does his play deserve starter money. CK has had many great games as he has had some many not so great. 2 great games come to mind, last season against Denver and the Monday night game against NE. To me I have always seen CK as what should be a servicable backup because there has never been a clear definite starter for the LDE position, now there is. While CK has always done all that has been asked and I am sure a great influence and has kept his mouth shut I personally just don't see paying or have paid him the money he gets; but, I don't see him as a player I would cut. Good while not great, I see the difference. If you want to know Gm or coaches thoughts on players listen too the words they say on them while trying to take in the whole conversation. He is good, mario is great. CK is a servicable rotational DE who in my opinion is over payed.
  7. Now let me play the idiot, and everybody who will can take that and run with it; but, I hope to have no part in hell as the same for others, other than that what do you see that should cause me to think there might be something wrong?
  8. If I am correct I believe the current rosters allow 53 and the practice squad 8, that leaves 61 to a roster. This is how I think teams should be allowed to roster: QB-3, HB-3, FB-1, WR-6, TE-3(1 can play TE/FB), T-4, G-4, C-2, DE-4, DT-4, LB-7, CB-6, S-5, K-2, P-2. That gives 3 more for game day to bring up speacial teamers and such if you desire to have just a kickoff guy or if in a certain game give younger guys some playing time, or what not. While I know there is a set amount you have to have at each position, I think the current roster format keeps you from having guys you might tryout in either a win or loss situation that you can eveluate more than just on a practice field.
  9. I am just waiting for someone to start a thread on this.
  10. Other than Mario Williams at LDE this is an interesting scenario to be played out. Kelsay has good size and experience and is a LDE, Mark Anderson is a RDE; but, in my opinion a bit undersized. Merriman has all the tools to be a RDE; but, had been a 3-4 OLB. So what I see is inexperience at RDE that will be won in the form of competing which is good for the team. While I have never been a huge fan I see Kelsay as having the upper edge. He has the size, strength, and knowldege to succeed. Anderson will be there in a nickel or dime. I think Marriman can beat out Kelsay; but, time and health are the determining factors.
  11. Who held a gun to your head and said read?
  12. Oh none Buffalo, my bad, I got ya. From a redneck hill-billy, LOL, if you will, wonder if there is any Dale Earnhardt jerseys out there?
  13. If you would send it to me, and if I can figure it out how to view it, I will take a look.
  14. I've had a few Jim Kelly jerseys over the years, but to have a #78 Bruce!!!!!
  15. Ok, here is the list of untaken #'s. 1, 2, 5, 10, 12, 15, 29, 32, 34, 46, 49, 64, 78, and 94. 12, 32, 34, and 78 will in no while be used. Interesting there is a 71B and a 73W.
  16. Jets, Chiefs, Browns, Patriots; 1st 4 games. 2 games and out is way to early for me to bech Fitz. I am however intrigued as to how Chan and the other qb coach will be able to work with Vince. I have always liked Vince since college, he was one of the players they missed on I was hoping Buffalo would draft. He has all the physical tools. Tim Graham was drafted with the long ball in mind. So not to say when or start anything but how long do yo uthink they go until they get a qb who can unload the ball when he gets gone? I wish Fitz the best; but, I would love to see the days of the ball aired out again like Kelly did. Graham reminds me a lil of Tim Brown. So if it takes the pre season to see it love to see Vince uncork one long to Graham, or Spiller. I am on the Fitz train until about game 4 or 5 but if he fails then they HAVE to look. This team is too close to the playoffs barring a couple of bad things happen to let injured qb play keep them out again. I have zero confidence in Thigpen. My 3 qb's are Fitz, Young, Tanney.
  17. Still laughing. I told it to my son; but, not dare tell my wife.
  18. You may all have me wrong; but, what a sissy CC is. Carter - Oh he said he's going to hit me, protect me please - or something of that nature. Why not handle the situation in a different way - hey big fellas dumb ass is over there running his mouth saying he's going to lay the smack down on some people today, let's play his game - certainly on ceratin running plays CC had a chance to crack him. Now what constitutes a bounty? To me giving any material substance in exchange for an act to be performed on someone or something of that nature, a narrowing down for action a cerain person, place, or thing. Now the question is does this make it any easier for AR to make it into the hall of fame? This has to go off of pure career performance. Who is to say AR never said anything of this nature; that was a 1 sided conversation. I still want AR in before CC personally, I am a Bills fan.
  19. I wondered why when the Bills were up 21-0 in the last game of the season they lost; now I know. I just wonder if the players quit? What happened? If they were pissed I understand; but, on the flip side of the coin to have them up 21-0 shows they were committed to win. A questionable debate.
  20. Here is a simple one word answer that has many avenues - government.
  21. Over the years there have been many memorable losses the Bill have been part in. Post the one you find most disappointing and why you think they lost. My personal favorite: Super Bowl XXV Late in the game as the Bills were driving Jim Kelly had apass to one of the TE's and the ref piddle-farted around for 10 to 15 seconds before finally placing the ball on the right hash mark. Had the ref had hurried I am sure the Bills could have had 1 more play then spiked the ball or what not and the ball may have been in a different place. To me the ref(s) kept the Bills from the win and as always you have to play them and the other team. Most miserable loss.
  22. From Rochester, New York to Honaker, Virginia where Heath Miller #83 TE for the Steelers played his high school ball. Heath played baseball in high school and here is a fact, while in his high school career of playing baseball Heath was only struck out once. Was a QB in high school and went to UVA because VT wanted to make a TE out of him, he goes to UVA and they make a TE out of him; go figure. Hello from Honaker (ho-nay-ker).
