  1. This is almost killing me. It obviously isn't the money factor, because the Bills want to make Mario the richest defensively paid player in the NFL. I think the question now is Mario's fiance. Marios seems to be a settled and focused man, his still being in Buffalo tells me he is interested. While I believe Mario has been courted and wooed, I believe his fiance needs some special attention given to her. Mario's thoughts are his family and future, so please western New York, show that lady a little love, after all, I am sure she can help purrrrrsuade him.
  2. I am just wondering why when a thread is started about a free agent or something that goes on with the team is no longer an interest why people continue to post and post and post. How many pages are needed when something is no longer of interest? I, for one, know when something is dead, it is dead. A thread that is no longer of interest to the team should be closed. There ar emore things happening with the team and in the interest of the town, state, country, world, etc. that old dead threads should no longer occupy the top "view new content" posts.
  3. This is a somewhat promising sign; but, he still has another team or two to visit. His interest with Buffalo is apparently high, my hope is someway or how they say or do something that just puts him over the edge and he is a Bill before days end. Is the physical a formality and why would he go unless his thoughts of the team are further interested by doing this, why would you go through this unless you are deep in thought about it?
  4. Is this the 2nd attention whore of the night? LOL
  5. No true Buffalo Bills fan WILL EVER forget about Bruce Smith; but, oh the sacking Brady memories hopefully Mario can leave with us!
  6. Who was the other? God, please help the Bills by having Mario Williams sign with them, and bless him and all the Bills nation. Thank you Jesus and amen.
  7. If they sign Mario, Kelsay and his big contract are gone!!!!!
  8. Oh if only Buffalo weren't so far from western New York. Buddy and company will need a new diet plan. Meachem and Williams, seperate dinners? You all give a hollder for me.
  9. I quite often refer to billsdaily as a news insight about the the team and all it's happenings. I was just wondering who heads up the web site and how reliable is it?
  10. An embrace and a kiss on a 1st night? 15 years older? So when your 50 she is 65, see yourself there? Sounds like you are a boytoy fling. As far as money is concerned, you better look past materila things. If you want the short term older woman experience with a hot cougar, hey, what the heck. You just better look further down the road, what might it be 5 years from now.
  11. This post will get closed quick; but, if I am Buffalo and throw the bank at Mario Williams how much money is left for other good FA's and rookies? If Mario is signed, how will that affect the outlook of other FA's they seek for?
  12. Speculation, speculation, speculation. All we can all do is sit back and watch what happens and hope the high archy of the Bills makes the best decisions with what is available when the ball is in their court to do so. My only thing is with all these qb's names running around and our lack of a pass rush they better land Mario Williams and get another great pass rushing DE in the draft.
  13. Hearng the news as of late with rising gas prices and Obama wanting gas done with all together and being against the coal indusrty and things of that nature aught to tell everyone how far off base this guy is. Word has it he wants us to pay what the Europians do, not possible. This country is in enough of a bind as it is, let alone 9 or 10 dollar a gallon gas prices. You raise the gas and evertying goes up with it. Bad thing is when it does come down some nothing comes down with it. The problem with rising gas prices and the cost of product raising is only big oil gets the money. How many people do you know of when the last time gas prices took a big jump got a big raise to be able to compensate. When you drive and economical vehicle to work and you start looking at 40, 50, 60 or more dollars to fill it up you are taking away from other necessity bills. With no other "right now" alternative they need to just leave the gas prices alone. With big oil companies prifiting what they are already profiting it is just pointless. There is so much to fix in the American economy and I am not sure where they should start, perhaps more jobs back in the US; but, raising gas prices is only going to hinder and create more problems for those of us who just get by without all the bells and whistles type stuff. I and many others like myself contribute; but, to our government letting gas prices rise doesn't help anything anyhow. The scary thing is if Obama does something about it, it will only be a fix for re-election. Best sometimes to just leave well enough alone.
  14. I do not think they touch wr in this draft. They seem content, and if they add one it will be fa.
  15. Ok, so you want how did God do it.
  16. Let me throw out a 2nd round OLT with plenty of upside; Zebrie Sanders of Florida State.
  17. Ummm, care to take a look at some 6th and 7th round picks and undrafted players?
  18. I like Finnegan; but, not for 9 mil a year. Nooooooooooooooooooooo.
  19. In today's NFL, and especially against the Patriots and whatever else the Dolphins or Jets might end up with, there are 2 key players that would solidify the defense and give us an awesome front 4. Chan and Buddy said we have receivers, so just let Vincent Jackson go. Mario Williams has to be top priority, whatever the cost. Next, we have to leap frog Miami and definetely take Quinton Couples. Buffalo is that close and with some long range signings of recent we can afford to lose our 1st and a 3rd or 4th this year and possibly a 1st or 2nd next year. As the Bills get better their draft position will lower; so, if the Bills make the playoffs giving up a 20 or back for 2013 is worth it for now. We can find a tackle in round 2 or FA on day 1 or after. We have to get to the QB's. Picture this: Mario Williams - Marcel Dareus - Kyle Williams - Quinton Coples - Nick Barnett - Kelvin Sheppard - Shawne Merriman - Drayton Florence - Leodis McKelvin - Jarius Byrd - George Wilson - Terrence McGee for nickel and dime. That is what I am talking about. Buffalo is moving forward by little leaps, that would be a huge bound.
  20. Any fans of Buffalo picking up Cortland Finnegan? I'd love to see him bust Wes Welker, Brandon Marshall, and other AFC East WR's. Wonder what the cost would be?
  21. There is a lot simpler; yet, unlengthy explanation. To the man who said "God himself could not sink this ship", it is a lesson we all can still all learn from today. Thank God for all, good and bad, his will comes out of it.
  22. ESPN is blocked anyone have another link?
  23. Looking for a link to the Sugar Bowl.
  24. 1 thing in this league is a given, no game is. Anybody can win or lose on any day. Never overlook no opponent. All players are on teams for a reason, they all have something. Just like when they played the Pats I hope a win.
  25. I look at Welker's size and all and who the Pats have on offense and wonder what ever happened to the bump and run or man-to-man coverage? Put safties over the top and fast taller OLB's can cover te's. 1 thing I know for sure is you have to be old school Raiders and play physical man to man and get you de's and dl and mlb to pressure and hit. It kills me no one tries to stick that pansy Welker, if it was me when I was younger give me him one-on-one and he never gets past the line of scrimmage. Smash mouth play physical. Where did that go?
