  1. Luckily I look more like 36 than 46 haha, although we will see how long that lasts though chasing some kids around haha
  2. Thanks gents! Yeah it’s crazy having my first at 46, but super excited. My wife wants 2, so gonna go for a second right after cuz even though she is young enough to wait (she’s 28) I don’t want to be popping kids out at like 50 😂
  3. I am still high on Shakir and still believe in his potential...but not gonna lie, it would be hard not to get excited of the thought of Josh Downs paired with Allen in this offense. He is like if Diggs and Beasley had a baby. He plays much bigger than his size and plays the ball so well down field like Diggs does. And his footwork and route running underneath and the way he changes direction with ease reminds me of what made Beasley so good.
  4. I was painting my baby nursery for my first born baby due in 6 weeks, thats why. I was in this thread and on this board all day waiting for my pick to come up but it didn't happen and couldn't put off painting any longer.
  5. With the 53rd pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select: WR, JOSH DOWNS, NORTH CAROLINA CLICK HERE FOR HIGHLIGHTS We are excited to see one of our top targets Downs still on the board and can't wait to see him on the field along side guys like Burks and Bijan. Downs is the definition of shifty with his incredible ability to change direction and explode with ease. Having him on this team will allow us to attack various levels of the defense and add an explosive dimension our offense has needed. He is smaller in size, but plays bigger than he looks and we feel even plays the ball better than some of the bigger receivers in the draft. He has a very impressive contested catch rate to go along with his excellent overall catch rate. Round 1, Pick 11: Drafted RB, Bijan Robinson, Texas (Derrick Henry traded to Chicago for pick 53) Round 2, Pick 41: Drafted O,T Anton Harrison, Oklahoma Round 2, Pick 53 (from Chicago): Drafted WR, Josh Downs, North Carolina Round 3, Pick 72: TBD @CNYfan and the Chargers are now on the clock.
  6. If he’s the 9th pick he won’t be the 4th OT off the board. I’m just saying, Anton still has a strong chance to go first round. No guarantees of course, but I think Anton is going to earlier than some people think.
  7. That would mean two things: Darnell leap frogged more than Anton and that Anton still has 23 picks to get chosen in the first round too.
  8. I still think he is going to be a first rounder, I don’t put too much into chatter leading up to the draft as teams try and get guys to slide to them.
  9. Ah well not familair with which one you are referring to, I only knew of this one and some others from some google research I was doing earlier trying to see as many trackers as I could and if any of the players were actually on the lists that the Bills drafted.
  10. I did some google searching earlier on past years pre-draft visit lists, and at least based on the ones I could find, it appears the last time the Bills used their first pick in a draft on someone in for a known pre-draft visit was 2019 with Ed Oliver. In 2020 AJE was our first pick, and couldn't find him on any visit lists. 2021 neither Groot or Boogie were on any pre-draft visit lists I could find. And in 2022 Elam was not on any pre-draft visit lists. So not sure how much weight to put on a pre-draft visit right now

  12. Personally, I think the talk of a trade up rumors would be more in play for an offensive playmaker than any other position. I think we can stay put at 27 and find some nice OL help, or maybe even trade down a tad too depending on who is left on the board of course. For example, if we stay put at 27, then with our emphasis on throwing the ball, I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see the Bills select Anton Harrison at 27, assuming he is still on the board. He has not been reported as a pre-draft visit, but also I am not so sure that matters. Interesting tid bit: I went back each year and looked at the last updated NFL pre-draft visit tracker for the Bills, and the last time the Bills first pick came from someone on their known pre-draft visits was Ed Oliver in 2019. At least on the lists I found leading up to the draft. In 2020, it doesn't list AJE, in 2021 it doesn't list Groot or even Basham, and in 2022 it doesn't list Elam. If we do trade up, then I think its more likely for a playmaker like Bijan or whatever WR they covet. I think the first 2 days of the draft are thinner at offensive playmakers than offensive line prospects.
  13. Glad this happened, he earned a spot back here last season.
  14. While I don’t disagree with overall sentiment here, I actually think OT Anton Harrison is going to go earlier than some people expect. I personally think he’s going to go in the first round. He is one of the best pass protecting tackles in the draft, probably second to only Skoronski.
  15. Yeah, I always just order a “cider”, never add “beer” to it whether I’m here or there. In a bar there is no confusion. But I couldn’t believe how much a difference ice made in a cider. And I’ve never had anyone in the US ever serve ice in a cider unless I ask for it. Total game changer.
  16. We call it Cider too, but sometimes when I say just Cider people in the states think it’s literally just apple cider with no alcohol. So I added the beer after to avoid confusion to anyone else who might read it. I feel like Cider is more popular over there than it is here, so probably part of the confusion.
  17. With the 47th pick in the 2023 NFL draft, the Washington Commanders select: TE, Sam LaPorta, Iowa CLICK HERE FOR HIGHLIGHTS The Commanders are excited to add what we feel is the most explosive TE in the draft with the ball in his hands. Adding him to our offense is going to bring a dynamic weapon that we feel our new OC Eric Bieniemy will be able incorporate into our offense and help him reach his potential at the next level. Round 1, pick 16: Traded to Seahawks for pick 20 and 83. Round 1, pick 20: CB, Joey Porter, Jr. Round 2, pick 47: TE, Sam LaPorta Round 3, pick 83 (from Sea): TBD Round 3, pick 97: TBD @manncand the Detroit Lions are now on the clock.
  18. Curious: Do they put ice in cider beers there by default when you order them? My ex was originally from Germany, and we would go over there to visit her fam once a year and also hit some other places like Amsterdam and stuff too on these trips. My first trip there, it was hot out and ordered a cider beer and they served it with ice and wow, it was an absolute game changer. Living at the beach in LA, a nice cider beer with Ice on hot days here is pretty amazing. I won’t drink it without ice now, can’t explain why, but it absolutely enhances it and should be served that way everywhere IMHO. But no one here in the states does it unless you ask.
  19. Totally get where you are coming from if you started in the Juaron era. For me, I was a die hard fan since 1988, so by the time the Fitz era got here I was over the sub par teams. I was even more over the cheapness of how this organization was run with no real GM, committing to sub par starters like Fitz (day he got his extension was a terrible day in my book), poor drafting, no quality free agents, etc. We also just used the 9th overall pick on Spiller when we had both Lynch and Freddy. Then they would just underuse the run game, like why waste the 9th pick on a RB if we are going to force feed a weak pass attack which I found frustrating. But from your perspective, I can see how much more exciting that era was from the previous eras you entered under. For me, and many of us, it was a weekly reminder our team was no where near ending the drought or entering contention. And we were committing to players and coaching that was not going to suck enough to get premium picks and not be good enough to be a winner. And that is worse than sucking in my book because that is basically purgatory.
  20. It wasn’t meant to be, I just pointed out how he has been overrated by fan lore. The some started countering with more fan lore of things like he somehow excelled vs Revis which is just factually false on every level. But pointing out he was overrated struck a chord just like it did when it was discussed a lot when he was here. Despite how it seems, I don’t have anything personal against Stevie, and have love for him as a person. But he wasn’t very good and that was not on any level a “fun” era of football. That was a time of wading through this board with post after post propping up mediocre to below average players as if they were good. Like the endless threads saying Fitz was a good starter when he wasn’t. I found nothing about that era particularly fun when we went 16-32 during those 3 1000 yard season. Gailey went out every week and forced the passing game with a weak combo of Fitz and Stevie and would go away from our very good rushing game by the second half too often. But off the field, big fan of Fitz and even Stevie. On the field, it was not a good or fun era of football.
  21. I mean it’s version one. Virgil has a lot to manage, having everyone wanting to propose trade options at the Bills through an entire round that would require a poll to pass would take forever. And this draft is already taking too long. And not everyone likes Sanders enough to trade up for him, so you don’t even know if the vote would have passed anyway.
  22. LOL, it’s fine if you have a different opinion on Stevie, but I’ll put my track record and rep against yours any day of the week and twice on Sundays Again another one claiming I pinned win losses on him. Literally not what I said at all, but I get why you focused on only that one thing because you can’t discuss his stats vs Revis because they aren’t good. When people can’t counter facts they divulge to attempting to mud sling. So I get it. But you failed.
  23. I didn’t pin win/loss record on anyone. I gave you the facts of Stevie’s “legendary” dominance over Revis that includes no wins, a terrible catch rate, and poor statistics. Stevie had a 48% catch rate, and averaged 3.5 catches for 47 yards against Revis over his career. You think that equates to giving Revis “trouble”? Lol, come on. And why? Because he scored one TD on him in one game that meant nothing in a game we lost? I mean, Stevie dropping the game winning TD pass against Pittsburgh, a costly drop that cost us a win, negates this one TD that meant nothing against Revis. I mean it was a perfect pass right in his hands. So let’s quit pretending he somehow gave Revis fits when it’s factually false.
  24. No disrespect...but did he really? For all this talk about him vs Revis, they only played each 5 times due to one of them not playing in the game. But here are Stevies averages in the games against the Jets when Revis played. Record: 0-5 Rec: 3.6 Targets: 7.4 Catch %: 48% Yards per game: 47 Touchdowns: 0.6 This whole lore about him getting the best of Revis literally came off one game where he had 75 yards and a TD where he got a TD on Revis in a game we lost. And some of the stats he got above were at the end of multiple score losses when Revis wasn't even in the game anymore. So no disrespect, but this notion he gave Revis trouble is more fan lore than fact.
  25. Well he played with Philip Rivers after and then was out of the league. And no, it is not the same thing. Like Stevie literally would have 0 catches or 2 catches for 13 yards and then on the final drive in 3 score loss would get 3 catches for a TD. I posted ALL the time about it when it was happening. He was nowhere near a top WR, and he was only WR1 here by default and was an average #3 WR at best. He never reached 500 yards again after leaving Buffalo and was out of the league 2 seasons later for good. Go back and look at his game logs during those 3 seasons of barely reaching 1000 yards. More than half his stats came in the 4th quarter of bad losses when the game was out of reach after being a ghost the rest of the game before it got out of reach. Stevie is easily the most overrated player in Bills history and his 3 consecutive 1000 yard seasons are probably the least impressive 3 consecutive 1000 yard seasons in NFL history. Prime Stevie Johnson would be WR4 on this years Bills team, a team everyone says desperately needs to find a new #2 WR.
