  1. Thanks for this, didn't know a lot about him, but I really like what I am reading here and definitely excited to see what he can do here. Love his versatility they discussed, but also his discipline. A reduction in dumb a** penalties by the OL kiling drives would be a nice change.
  2. Don't know a ton about him, but I do know we need guard help badly.
  3. Bahahahahaha...so many wanted to argue the cap wasn't real because Saints signed a middle of the pack QB in Carr.
  4. Because if he blows up here, his cost could (and probably likely) be greater than what we paid Diggs. KC didn't keep Tyreek...GB didn't keep Adams...are Bills going to pony up with an expensive roster and pay a WR $27M+ per year or higher if he has establishes himself as top end WR while catching passes from Allen? It would also mean moving on from Diggs and then also giving him a huge bag of money. Would he thrive as a #1 after Diggs is gone for that kind of money? And if he doesn't excel to command a huge contract, trading a first round pick for him would have been an over pay. So for me, its not so cut and dry. Not saying I am against trading for Jeudy, just saying I like a Hopkins trade more. I would be excited if we got Jeudy, this isn't about that. I just prefer taking the better player today in Hopkins for a win now approach, and nabbing a WR to groom early sometime in the next 2 drafts who we can have 4 to 5 years of Allens prime on a rookie contract. I would however be much more comfortable trading Jeudy if the price comes in much cheaper than is being rumored or if it was a player and a mediocre pick. It is trading a first, or trading a 2nd and another pick where I start to like it less than trying to get Hopkins.
  5. Hopkins only missed time with one injury, 2021 though. Prior to that he had missed 2 total games in his entire career and came back and was fully healthy last year. He made a mistake in recovery from that injury that cost him time in 2022, but he has not had an issue staying healthy. And while I get the long term appeal, if Jeudy excels here, I am not sure we would be able to afford to keep him long term. We might, but there are no assurances. Which is why I like risking less on Hopkins and then look to add some youth in the draft we can keep for 4-5 seasons cheap sometime during the next 2 drafts.
  6. It would be $12m after June 1st and $24m next year based on everything I have read. Haven’t seen one source say 10 and 7. So I would say until I see a source confirming it’s much lower, then I think that’s likely incorrect.
  7. You can redo Hopkins deal and make the cap hit palatable. Denver wants at least a first for Juedy, and what happens if he has a big year with Josh? Will he be content with just the 5th year option next year? A first is a lot to trade for a guy that we can’t afford to resign in the next year or two if he breaks out with Allen. And if he doesn’t break out, then we over paid by trading a first. I wouldn’t be upset by any means if we traded for Juedy, just prefer a 2 year deal with Hopkins who can be had cheaper and is still a top 5 WR.
  8. Diggs isn’t going anywhere, these articles are just click bait. He has massive cap hits this year and next. Bills would take a major step back if they traded him losing their best playmaker and chewing up over $40m in dead cap hits the next 2 years.
  9. We can probably get Hopkins for less than Jeudy. So I’d do that.
  10. I wouldn’t trade both, nor would we need to either, just to get Juedy. I wouldn’t rather trade much less and get Hopkins from AZ.
  11. My prediction: Poyer becomes a Raider
  12. Will be interesting to see what the market is for him, I would imagine it’s stronger than the Henry trade market. UPDATE: Ekeler now granted permission by Chargers to seek trade
  13. Im really hoping for Al-Shaair from SF personally, someone who can do a lot of the things that Edmunds can but cheaper.
  14. I doubt Downs would be the pick if the draft fell the way you had it go. I think it would be Campbell or Antonio personally over downs, or maybe even see us trade down.
  15. What a quality and informative thread OP. *said no one ever*
  16. I only wonder how much longer it’s going to take for the rest of TSW accepts that Bijan isn’t dropping to 27. He has a good chance to go inside the top 10, and I would be surprised if he made it past Philly at 10. So many other people around here still have this delusion there is a good chance that we get him at 27. Is it possible…sure anything is possible. But the odds of it happening are very low.
  17. Yeah, while the Ramsey trade doesn’t scare me, there is no denying adding both Ramsey and Poyer would be a pretty tough secondary.
  18. I didn’t love the size of the Von Miller deal, however, it made more sense. Bills were arguably a pass rush away from a SB, they signed him as a FA, and had Josh Allen to bank on. Miami was not a CB away from a SB, have a cap mess coming as soon as next year, and are banking on Tua, a QB who can’t stay healthy and whose injuries are getting worse. Tua ended his 2022 season on a 4 game losing streak before he got hurt and his mistakes were a big part of those losses. Josh Allen ended his 2021 season setting all kinds of NFL post season records in maybe the best 2 game stretch for a QB in NFL history, but losing to a defensive 13 second blunder and a coin flip. The two are the same in theory, but I think you can see that one does not equal the other.
  19. Tell me you didn’t watch him play without telling me you didn’t watch him play. Not saying we should sign him, that depends on his price tag. But your assessment is way off base. Never heard someone call a 1000+ yard rusher, who only started half the games last year, just a TD machine before.
  20. Jalen Ramsey wouldn't even call last year “the best year of his career”. I mean how you can even say that with a straight face is baffling, especially given you didn’t even watch his games to make such a statement. You are like those people who tell someone that a place they are about to go on vacation to sucks, even though you’ve never been.
  21. Says the guy who didn't watch any of his games 😂. The only accurate thing in your post is his age. But wow, calling last year the best year of Ramsey's career is about the wildest thing I have seen all offseason.
  22. No disrespect at all, but you just glossed over the fact that he started 8-0, but then went 0-4 after that and after teams starting to figure out how to defend McDaniels offense and Tua better. And Tua was a major contributor to those losses with poor decisions and turnovers, where his weak arm began hurting him. Bills started off red hot too last year before teams figured out how to disrupt our offense as well. And Miami's 24th ranked defense wasn't one CB away from being a top 5 D or anything. They had several issues on defense. I don't understand this next part, I am one of the few people here not looking at this as Black or White. I am looking at his with rational eyes, and I have already said several times that Miami improved their defensive backfield today. But while that may be true, it is not to the degree of the over exaggeration going on in this thread. For the record, I don't find anything you have said as to be part of that over exaggeration crowd, I am more referencing my previous posts. Nothing about this moves makes me feel it moves Miami ahead of KC, Cincy, or the Bills. And if the Jets get Rodgers, I would still have more confidence in the Jets this year than Miami. And the big reason is Tua. All the other top teams have Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Rodgers...Miami has Tua, a guy who can't stay healthy, ended his season heavily contributing to 4 straight losses, and whose injuries are getting more severe. So end of the day, even if Ramsey has a rebirth in Miami and plays more like his old self, it doesn't move the needle much if they can't stabilize the QB position in a loaded AFC Conference. It also doesn't change the near term ramifications of this move if it doesn't result in a SB title this year or next. They have a very top heavy cap situation with several guys aging or not living up to their contract size already. And that is before they either pay Tua or some other QB to replace him. And as far as Fangio goes, he appears to be an upgrade at DC for him, but he is being a bit over exaggerated around here too IMHO. Miami was already a tough foe, and will continue to be one this year. But I am much more concerned about Jets getting Rodgers than I am Miami over paying Ramsey.
  23. LB Al-Shaair from SF. He is a great replacement option IMHO for Edmunds at what is expected to be a much lower cost than what Edmunds will get. I also think a RB like Jamaal Williams or D'Onte Foreman would be good additions and compliments to Cook. Signing either of them could potentially give us an Ingram/Kamara type tandem here this year.
  24. Did I say his play the year before wasn't any good? I said I have watched every game he has been a Ram for the most part, and that he TODAY is not still elite. His play has diminished. And since win does a TEAM winning a SB mean a single player must be elite anyway? That is the most ridiculous logic I have seen. I already said he doesn't suck, but no offense, how can someone like yourself who has not watched him play actually give any kind of an informed opinion here? Why because you have heard of him? I will rely on actually watching him play over your google searches of other peoples opinions who mostly didn't watch all his games either. Roger Saffold was voted to the Pro Bowl this year...shows the value that a name carries amongst people who didn't actually watch him play. So maybe google less, and watch more.
  25. How he stacks to a Bill is irrelevant. And I watch the games, not google unreliable rankings from sites like PFF. He is not still elite and I would have been sick to my stomach if we paid him that much money and gave up assets to get him.
