  1. Think about high draft picks spent on RB’s during the drought: McGahee - round #1 - pick 23 Lynch - round 1. - pick 12 Spiller - round 1 - pick 9 Not to mention that during this era Jackson and UDFA was also on the roster Why so much draft collateral an RB’s? A waste in the modern era - a true waste.
  2. In your mind it is Jay... In your mind (a very scary place)....
  3. Hughes has had a very good but very quiet season. He is a better player than what his stats reflect. Lawson is known for run setting not pass rushing.
  4. I still shake my head when I think about the Bills spending a valuable draft pick on him.
  5. Kyle near the very end of this interview throws out the fact that Ritchie has never played in the postseason. Hadn’tt Thought about it but he has been playing for franchises that had been stuck in the suck. Good for Ritchie. http://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2018/01/01/buffalo-bills-jerry-hughes-andy-dalton-secret-santa/994073001/
  6. Total donations at $57,000 as of last night: (headline is behind Dalton’s tweet contained within the article) http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000901731/article/thankful-bills-fans-donate-37000-to-andy-daltons-charity http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2751905-andy-dalton-after-bills-make-playoffs-i-think-im-the-hottest-guy-in-buffalo
  7. The team is in the playoffs after some bold FO, coaching and ownership moves: FO: Moved players out who did not fit scheme and team culture in return for draft picks and other players who have contributed. Coaching: The most impressive moves to me are taking the back end of a defense that included a bunch of previous no names and me them into the strength of the D (if not the team) FO: moved on from Rex and Whaley - not that long ago this franchise was considered a dumpster fire - not to mention - on a personal level was it not fun watching Kim Pegula being a fan during the Miami game? It’s nice to have ownership that truly cares about the franchise, the fans and the region - enough said
  8. [This is an automated response]The thread is no longer contributing positively to the community and therefore the discussion has been closed.Thank you. If the OP or someone else wants to start a thread with verified rankings, please have at it.
  9. I am not suggesting that there will not be replacements. Those you have listed will likely be replaced with equal talent or maybe slightly better talent through mid level FA pickups. An elite LB and DT, probably through the draft, will make this D exceptional.
  10. Funny that a cold snap thread has been started by our friend from the place best known for frozen tundra Ice Bowl you are always a welcome guest here
  11. Multiple personalities ..... next week Miami Marsha (she’s Dunkirk Don’s transgender identity) promises to make a showing.....
  12. Hughes would have been much better with interior help
  13. My point was that KW’s play is not what it once was. It’s unusual to have two elite DT’s on one team (yes the Bills had this under Schwartz because Dareus played at a high level for that season). Maybe we will get lucky and strike gold on two but I’ll take one for sure.
  14. The D is really only a DT and LB away from being exceptional. The backend of the D with all of the turnover and injuries has been the most pleasant shock of the season.
  15. Meh...... to each their own....
  16. Jet stream is in a very different pattern with artic air being driven very far south. This winter is making up for last.
  17. This is good .... I hope they look right past us.
  18. We can hope for a miracle ..... one happened yesterday....
  19. Cincy chili on me!!!! Thank you guys!!!!
  20. Thanks Ice Bowl....
  21. Because the Tyrod apologists will not give up.
  22. Be patient....
  23. What the OP misses here is that in the NFL true leadership begins with play on the field in games and situations that matter. Has Kyle lost something given his years? Probably so, at least from from a physical standpoint. However, he has lost nothing in terms of his fight to be successful and to lead by the force of example. Kyle Williams inspires his teammates. He has also inspired a fan base during a very dismal period of years.
  24. Amen... the signing of these two guys may go down as the best FA decisions in club history. The positions were to be a source of weakness and they are actually the strength of the defense right now.
