Really good point on QB Play. It is frustrating as a fan to be in a situation where you know your team does not have one of “the guys.” Over the 17 year futility span the Bills have had some excellent rosters less a good QB. I agree with the addition of an additional bye week. I would also advocate a shorter pre-season as it is a waste. Maybe each team plays two preseason games and has one controlled scrimmage and that is it.

Wait for the offseason as rules changes will occur to they to protect QB’s even more. There is way too much money riding on these guys to have them in the medical tent and off the field. Personally, I’m not sure what else can be done other than making defenses count Mississippi’s after the snap but before rushing the QB. They are already greatly restrained in what is supposed to be a very physical game.

Williams, Incognito are nearing the end of their playing careers by NFL age standards. Woods is also not a member of the youth corps. It is likely to take two or three more drafts to completely rebuilt the roster.

Why DT3? He was touted as having starting talent when drafted. Maybe it’s the normal draft day hype but the best scenario is that he develops into a solid starter. Keep in mind Kyle will likely retire soon. We are not likely to pick up two starting DT’s in one draft. DT has gone from a position of strength on the roster to one in deep need quickly. Maybe (and hopefully) Kyle sneaks in one or two more seasons. It’s hard to imagine he plays beyond this.
