The biggest thing that hurts T.O., I think is that he was one bad teams the last time he was in the NFL. People last remember him in Buffalo and Cincinnati getting hurt. Whether it's fair or not his reputation took a huge hit just because of that. Obviously there are other factors, but I think that is a big part of why he hasn't gotten another chance.

That might be true, and Kelsay could very well end up starting opposite Williams this year, but it doesn't change the fact that the article is wrong about who was on the starting defense on day one.

The article isn't even factually correct. Kelsay was not starting on the 1st day of camp. I'm curious to see what they'll do on passing downs. If Kelsay is playing 1st and 2nd down, then when will Anderson and Merriman play? Will they both come in on 3rd down? Hopefully Wannstedt can find creative ways to get everyone on the field.

If you want historical context, then how about the fact that passing stats are up all over the league and the game has changed a lot since Kelly retired. I'm not knocking Fitzpatrick. I'm just saying it's really hard to compare stats from different eras.

They aren't going to do anything on offense except throw to their TEs and bubble screens to Welker/Edelman. And Brady will still put up gaudy numbers.

I remember in the 90s when the Bills scrimmaged the Steelers and Empire televised it. It was really really boring.

They put their football program above the law and the welfare of children, so !@#$ their football program. At no point did anyone associated with the scandal do the right thing because they didn't want to affect recruiting. Seems pretty right to me.

Running backs are easy to find. Nobody is going to be desperate enough to take one with as much baggage as Henry. What a waste. Hopefully he finds another way to turn his life around.

The Bills can't go the way the Packers have gone with selling shares of the team obviously but if they are renovating the stadium it would be cool if they could steal another of the Packers' ideas (I have no idea if other teams do this or not) and sell bricks and tiles for fans to dedicate to friends and family and personalize the stadium. The Packers charge $75 and up. It's not going to pay for the new stadium by itself but with so many displaced Buffalonians around the country it could be a good source of revenue for the team if they do it right. http://www.lambeaufieldbricks.com/

The league said they can spread it out over the next two years any way they want. So they could only take half the hit this year and then next year when the cap will probably go up take the other half and soften the blow a little.
