  1. In terms of offense, I think our scheme should look a lot like it did vs the Jets: a commitment to the run game, but with plenty of motion to put the D-line on its heels and attack the middle. An important thing to note from last night's game is: Kansas was getting their shots. Balls were hitting hands. Usually (against us) those are surehanded catches. So it's not as if KC didn't know how the beat the scheme, it just was let down by its WRs
  2. I actually agree with you on this. 12 personnel does not exclusively mean lining up a TE on each side. You can start in wishbone, then put Kincaid in motion into the slot to diagnose the defense. You can overload them for a sweep/put one in a jet motion and have the option of jet handoff or is a blocker for Cook. It isn't that hard to think of, which is why it was so frustrating that Dorsey wasn't doing it.
  3. hey guys, do you remember when Gabe Davis shoved Josh from behind and it worked 95% of the time?
  4. With the bye coming up in two weeks, and the KC I would rather Knox take one more week. Don't get me wrong, I want him back. I want to see what an actual creative OC can do with 2 TE who you can motion and put into different alignments either than one on each side. Seriously.
  5. That is an insane roughing call
  6. Oh look, attempting to throw a WR at the line of scrimmage during a blitz. Are we sure Dorsey didn't go to Philly?
  7. Sauce mugs people. It's mind boggling how he gets away with it
  8. Right now my gameplan against both these teams is to run at them
  9. What? I heard that only happens to Josh Allen
  10. I think we have to dedicate to the run against the Eagles like we did the Jets. They cannot stop Helare
  11. It's like Eagles decided to do all the things that drove us all nuts
  12. I literally came on here to post that
  13. They've dialed that back a lot this year. Hurts has taken some hits and his knee brace just came off
  14. Just as a note, calling the sandwich a Philly Cheese steak annoys locals like when we hear Buffalo Wings. So call them Philly cheese steaks!
  15. I feel like this isn't getting enough press. The knock I hear from national media is "they're putting it all on Josh". I think maybe LeSean McCoy his first years with us is my last point of comparison. I do worry about the fumbleitis, but honestly the man is a lot of fun to watch play. It was just so infuriating to watch that shotgun QB draw, knowing that Cook can do with a head of steam and his vision. And now Brady is using a few Shannahan RB concepts? The Bills have needs on offense pending, but the Torrance, Cook and Kincaid pickups are looking like excellent pieces for the future.
  16. who was the other one? Mac Jones?
  17. "My legs, my legs..." "Oh Jesus, he kneecapped you?" "No~"
  18. On a more serious note, the only reason I can conceive that Rasul Douglass has not been starting is familiarity. I know PFF is not the end all be all, but his track record has been better than Dane Jacksons, never mind the the splash plays from last night.
  19. Unless you all expect three players to clear concussion protocol in a week, I think you better warm to the idea of Douglas as a starter.
  20. Not to get too far ahead, but the Eagles are legit good. I was ready to call them a hype machine last year and while I am not a huge Hurts fan, they have an elite stable of WRs, run the ball enough to be effective, and they are great at short down conversion.
  21. It's ok, it's the part of Camden that is riiiiiight before it touches one of the wealthier districts. Actually right by one the best rated sushi joints in Philly.
  22. I am not going to blame anyone for holding off on the Joe Brady parade until he can show it for a stretch. I am not going to slam anyone for skepticism when my own is running quite high. Now, if we keep this up vs Philly, KC, Dallas, then I will gripe like to the peak condition being a Bills fan has trained me to.
  23. I work in Camden now, so I'm already there. It's either that or I go to the aquarium for my kid and decide to get lunch.
  24. How Brady does in the next 6 games is the real question for me. The defense has had some key breakdowns, but a lot of that was after keeping the offense afloat for an unsustainable amount of time. If the Bills get into the playoffs and show life, I am curious to see what Joe Brady can do with a full offseason. If the Bills flame out, offense looks awful, then it's an easy reset and a 2024 of burning every bad FA contract to start fresh in '25. To me the real question is this: what happens if the team looks much improved, wins games (plural) against Philly/KC/Dallas but misses the playoffs due to a bad loss and tiebreakers. Does the potential turnaround warrant one more year after four years of results we were thrilled about?
  25. I think this is a must do. The Bills are in a cap crunch next year. Unless the plan is to burn it all down, I think it should be very reasonable to extend him a few years. His Packers deal was $7 M a year, and heavily frontloaded. Beane can easily knock the $9M for 2024 down with a signing bonus and set it to match the rising salary cap for another few years.
