  1. I agree. Give Chan the ball. Everyone was great today, but for two weeks in a row now he's gone in a halftime and made the adjustments needed while keeping his team steady. I can't imagine us doing this under Jauron.
  2. I would like to see more of a pass rush, but you know what, we managed to shut down the run for three teams. Everyone was saying all week that you can't blitz Brady, you can only force him to make bad throws. Well, we did that and we made him pay each and every time he did. Yes, we got 4 INT's on the best QB in the league. We can't do that every week, but we aren't playing against a passer like Brady every week.
  3. Let's see... The Flying Bison, The Stampede, (for Ralph) the Heart Attack Hop...
  4. Strategically, it was a better long term choice for Brady to let the TD go. Losing one game is not as bad as losing Brady for the season. Emotionally...I think it speaks to a certain lack of...well, balls. Brady is always praised for being smart, but I honestly can't remember anyone talking about his guts like they do with Fitz.
  5. I was born in 88, so I can barely remember the later Super Bowl runs (when I started as a fan) and I can honestly say that I cannot think of a time when the Bills came back 21 points to beat a division rival against which we were heavily expected to lose. It's easily the best turnaround I've seen at least since the last days of Kelly.
  6. Still WAY to early to be talking about playoffs. But I will admit that winning against the Pats, and then playing a beatable (though certainly not a lock) Bengals and a perennially injured Vick, followed by the Giants... I'm not saying that anything is lock. But the Bills are 3-0 and the AFC seems to be an all out brawl at this point.
  7. I also don't think I've ever seen Bill Belichick so angry to have the Bills not score a touchdown. Doesn't he know that that's our specialty.
  8. Seriously. I'm trying to think of the logic here. I'll admit, the Raiders are showing signs of promise. I think they may just prove to be the best in their division. But I just can't understand how you can say "Well I like these guys, but I don't know about the guys who beat them along with one of the best teams in the league"
  9. I know people dismissed the Raiders after last week. I hope they don't take our win for granted now and, even better, the Bills now lead the AFC East. Overall, I can't think of a better way for things to fall for the Bills.
  10. I'm not sure if anyone has been watching this, but they ran through the Bills-Patriots game. Tony Dungy said that he liked the Bills and pointed out that no one expects the Raiders to beat the Pats either. The other two (Costas and Patrick I think) rolled their eyes. 3-0 (one of only three) and still no respect. Well, we'll show them next week
  11. Oh...of course. Naturally, he just wants to highlight how he got hurt. And broke his hand. Two weeks before they play the Bills.
  12. You mean beside free agency, waivers and the things that have given us a winning team with...how many first round draft picks on the roster?
  13. Yeah, I can't argue too much on a win. But Byrd's tackle? From what I saw, it looked to be a textbook tackle. No helmet to helmet and he led with his shoulder. I just have to guess that the refs couldn't believe that anyone could tackle Welker in the open field fair and square.
  14. Who would have guessed?!? Hey, Oakland fans? Remember how we wished you the best against the AFC East after us. We meant it! Thanks for obliging
  15. It was, but seeing Fitz hold up the ball and then seeing the flag...that made it allllllllll better.
  16. Also, the refs taking away the NE timeout when BB was complaining about...something. Seriously, what was that about? It let us wind down the clock to nothing.
  17. I laughed like an idiot!!!
  18. AHHHHHHHH-MEN. AHHHHHH-EH-MEN. AA-MEN, AA-MEN, AA-MEN!!!
  19. There is always a quality that sucessful football teams have. "It" is the quality to win, no matter how outmatched, or how bad things get. It's something the Bills didn't have last season. They went into OT oh so many times and didn't come away with a single win. This season? We start 21-3 against the Oakland, pull out a win. Against the PATS!!!!!! (Sorry, still grinning) We are 21-0 to start and WIN! Against one of the best teams in the league!!! Oh yeah. This season, we've got "It".
  20. Not going to lie, I didn't expect to win today. I hoped, thought that we could show that we weren't half bad and would have been happy with that. But beating the Pats...oh, you can't dispel doubts any better than that.
  21. I'm sure they'll just say that Brady had an off day and that explains everything. You know what they can't explain away? The scoreboard.
  22. We were the worse team. EXCEPT FOR FOUR INTS BABY. YEAHHHHHHH!!!
  23. Well, it's possible that we never beat the Pats but make the playoffs. Of course, we would have to (at the minimum) beat the Phins both times and split with the Jets...and have a stellar record otherwise. So yeah, a win here today would do a whole lot for that.
  24. Brady is their general and field marshal. I highly doubt that it's a lock...but every little bit helps.
