Schobel contemplating retirement
murra replied to Delete This Account's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe Schobel was the curse. It's to my understanding he never played in a playoff game. -
When "Rich" Stadium was renamed our losing streak began!

(Yards, Avg, TD, INTs) Freeman : 1,412...6.2...9...14 Fitzpatrick: 1,267...6.3...6...10 Edwards: 1,169...6.4...6...7 It does not matter who plays for an abysmal football team. The three quarterbacks above all have 7 starts this season, by the way.

What are you talking about? Please tell me you didn't watch that game and think we needed him? He plays with one of the best DTs in the league in front of him, and support with a rising stud in Orakpo, and yet watching snippets of that game, I saw London making tackles 9 or 10 yards down field. I'm sorry if you're unwilling to accept that reality, as I know many posters like to pretend like that's not a valid complaint, but Fletcher is about as overrated as they come. ...Also, if this thread was created in jest, I didn't detect the sarcasm, and I apologize in advance.

WTH was that play??? Washington is putrid

The Washington Redskins: The only NFL team the Bills can poke fun at. -
Are buses out of the question?

Hahaha, why do you guys seem to think that Wood is not going to play next season? Seriously, what a joke that is. He broke his leg. That is all. Sorry to break the news to you guys, but I bet all leg breaks look like the real McCoy in slow motion... Otherwise the leg wouldn't break. Any orthopedic surgeon will confidently remind you that because Wood isn't a child, and surgery can be performed, he'll be up to speed with a full offseason of physical therapy. Leg breaks look a lot worse than they really are. Wood will, without question, be back next season.

Thanks for that!

2 Questions regarding Bruce Allen and Mike Holmgren
murra replied to bbb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Clayton reported that Snyder met the rules anyway. I think you basically just have to say that you interviewed a minority candidate, and the league's policy is that if it is in question whether or not you actually did, they will confront the person(s) you've said, and verify that way as to the legitimacy of the interview. In other words, and especially considering we currently have a black head coach, the rooney rule is not even a concern at all. -
Okay, so you became a Bills fan in the 80's. That makes you pretty spoiled now doesn't it? You probably came to really love and root for them in '88/'89. Next thing you know, four straight SB appearances. Even by the end of the 90s we were still making the playoffs, and our last appearance, we "lost" to the team that barely lost the Superbowl. Hardly a horrible team. But then what happened? Your spoiled little self was so used to winning that the second the team faulted you abandoned it. Wow, you're a model fan right there. The only problem I have with you is that you became this disgruntled Bills fan instead of jumping ship to whatever city you now live near. At least then you wouldn't have these confused self-images, and you'd be able to accept yourself for who you are: the definition of a fair-weather fan. I don't care that you don't care what I think of you. It doesn't mean I'm not right. What are you talking about? Complacency? Aren't we like the first fanbase in NFL history to actually buy a billboard and practically force the firing of Dick Jauron? We've run the last four coaches out of town. You're talking out of your ass, which is what most people do when they're dead wrong. Here's a fun little task for you (Since you love telling me what to do...like stop buying bills stuff, stop buying bills tickets, stop rooting for the bills), go into preferences, select change your password, select the query and pound your head on the keyboard a couple of times. Click accept changes. Try to log back in. I can't get past that. If you are promoting a self-boycott of the Bills you'd thing the first step would be to stop reading about them/talking about them.

Why should I hate the owner? Why should I hate anyone? It's a sport. I like to watch football. I live in Buffalo. Therefore I root for the Buffalo Bills. It's more fun when they're a better team, but I don't know how a bad football team could ever suck the life out of me. Of course I'm still going to go to the games. You're coming off as a little girl the more and more you post.

One dumb post followed by another. That paragraph was horrible, and you should be ashamed of yourself. You sound like a child. I'm sure the Bills are the only team to have a bad decade, ever. You make it seem like every team is winning the superbowl consistently. You're a joke, we don't need whinny fans like you. Another pessimistic asshat who thinks complaining about the obvious issues in the organization make him some genius. I'll tell you whats unbelievable. Its unbelievable that you hate the Bills as much as you put on. I don't believe a word of it.

Chris Henry in serious condition after car accident* (updated)

That was kind of sad actually. Her myspace is filled with anticipation for her wedding. I don't think it's all that funny. -
What a dumb post.

Capitalizing adjectives doesn't make them more true. -
Does this even qualify as a hypothetical? He didn't fall to us, he wasn't going to fall to us.

DraftTek Positional Needs For December

I'm sure you guys remember earlier when he opened the Cowboys Stadium with a win over #3Oklahoma, outplaying Bradford with a nice GW TD. -
DraftTek Positional Needs For December
murra replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well from what I understand, he's beaten some good teams for three years in a row with pretty nice stats. His arm looks good in the highlights I've seen, and yet most draft boards have this guy going in the 6th round. A couple 11 win seasons, the guy seems pretty athletic. He meets Parcell's criteria (He's 24, mature mentally, and has consistently thrown for more than 30 TDs/season). I'll take him with the Peters pick we got. -

Reid looking to possibly strip Lieberman of....
murra replied to Magox's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
A third party isn't tossing your vote away. People just need to realize that the third party needs to separate itself from the other two. After 1912, it is doubtful we'll see an emergence of a third party in America for the very misconception you've pointed out. Essentially, the Wallaces and Perot's do take away votes from other parties. A strict libertarian, or a strict fiscal conservative candidate with decent backing support could allow a new party to emerge with due time. The Progressives went for the knock out punch, missed, and that was it. I think since then you're right, America has become quite weak, democratically speaking.
