  1. Bob, that is a side of Williams I didn't get to see. Thank you for the clarification.
  2. He'll be over it by this coming Sunday. He'll learn from it and use it as a stepping stone towards getting better. I believe he will. I recall seeing Roy Williams smiling on the sidelines when he lost a ball that might have given the Cowboys a win. Totally shocking to see. No heart. SJ has heart. Stevie most of us have your back!! We believe you can be a great one if you keep at it. SJ reminds me of a young Andre Reed with his swirving moves after the catch putting defenders off balance. He'll bounce back. Go Bills!!
  3. I'm down with that. Sure beats trying to grow a Fitzbeard which I'm unable to do with full effect. Bring on the ramen noodles. Can we add anything to it tho?
  4. John, your observations on Carrington are promising. Perhaps he will become an immovable object against the run, with a pass rush to be yet determined. Just glad to see him getting much needed playing time. We need to find out what he's all about. Let this beast evolve and grow.
  5. Lol that would be appropriate. We're like the "underdogs"
  6. It goes without saying I'm thankful for family, our armed forces and freedom of speech (as much of it as we have now anyway). This is a Bills forum though. What I'm thankful for is having no Vince Young meltdowns, no Roethlisberger drama, no Haynesworth headaches on our team. What I'm thankful for is having a team being built of players without the word quit in their vocabulary. It's finally exciting to watch the Bills play. I'm thankful for the thought that we might be on our way up from rock bottom and better things are to come. I'm also very thankful we have such loyal fans on here. We don't always agree, but I believe most of us are damn loyal! Go Bills!!
  7. Happy Turkey Day Everyone!! Stay safe and have a great Thanksgiving with your loved ones. Gobble gobble!
  8. Ok bowery, you twisted my arm I'll keep my avatar for a bit longer. It's grown on me. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! Go Bills!!!
  9. LOL, I was thinking of doing something similar, but I'm not that great with photoshop. You did a kewl azz job. Nice. Stevie's like our skull cap mastermind or reaper.
  10. I concur with bowery. Proper spelling is fairly important to me but I have to admit that intelligent conveyance of questions and ideas are more important than spelling. As for shadowcat, imo winning and winning some more along with smart drafting no matter what draft position is more important than purposely losing to get a high pick. Smart drafting is the key component and so is building a winning attitude. Also I've read some posts in the past concerning FA's not wanting to come to Buffalo due to our losing culture and "Siberian" weather. Winning certainly can't hurt to change that perspective a bit. So yes, win and continue to do everything possible to win. Don't let potential quality FA's think that Buffalo is the place of last refuge. We need to Win and make better draft decisions than in the past decade. Beating the steelers would make a huge statement. I haven't been this excited about a game in a long time. It's possible we'll lose, but our team has it in them to go all out for a victory. At least we now know the word quit is not in their vocabulary. The culture is changing for the better here! Go Bills!!! Last but not least Every one of you Loyal Bills fans have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.
  11. You're right. Thanks for the correction. Very glad we have him.
  12. Stevie is on pace to break this record. Wow what a 7th round gem. 31 other teams passed up on him multiple times.
  13. Damn, you guys are cold.
  14. Since first hearing of him and his antics as a freshman at Ohio State I thought he was a prick and douche. It's nice too see him trying to turn his life around. The article portays him as being genuine in this endeavour. Good for him. I hope he keeps it up.
  15. I thought he was giving it a try on the O-line with the Redskins. He sure gets around. I wonder where he'll show up next?
  16. I would just like to say thank you to all the current and future mods. I think we're in good hands considering the number and quality of posters who volunteered.
  17. About damn time. He needs the xp. I hope Carrington clobbers the daylights out of people.
  18. He's like a ferocious Charlie Brown.
  19. That clip is an all time classic. Hilarious seeing him cringe like a little baby.
  20. I'm as optimistic about our growing O as you are Dr. K. Our D even though lacking talent on the front 7 is starting to progress. It's nice to see them get more comfortable out there but they still have a long way to go. Things are starting to look a little bit up. We definitely have an exciting team to watch. Stein, awesome avatar Those are two happy buffaloes.
  21. If that's the case then Dan Patrick can go suck an egg. Boomer gives us props even when we're down. Tim Russert would be proud.
  22. Agreed. It's nice to see someone in the media showing some respect for the Bills.
  23. Thanks for all the great replies guys. I enjoyed reading them. I missed the game today due to a bday party. But tried my best to keep track of the game on my phone. I'll have to read up and see how the game went. Close victory. Bob in STL, I agree with you that we do lack some leadership. I have hope that hard working players such as Fitz, Kyle Williams, Stevie Johnson, and Wood amongst others will fill this void. This is a young team and imo it'll take more time for these players to grow into this leadership role. This is assuming they will take it by the reigns and go with it. They'll also need more consistently good games to fully earn the respect needed to be viewed as leaders. Go Bills!!
