  1. Thanks Gale. Practically everyone in my league gave me a hard time for picking up so many Bills. I'm only starting Lynch, Evans and the Bills Defense. Hardy was a very late round pick. It's a risky move cause he's a rookie but i figured why not? I'll see what happens. I picked up Edwards as a free agent as my backup. Rodgers is my starter but I'm hoping Edwards has a great season and if he does then he could become my "sleeper" starter. When I drafted Hardy I heard one guy in our league say "never heard of him." lol. Another guy said "good pick." But for the most part they think i'm bonkers. Well I did draft Tom Brady in the first round last year and everyone thought I was completely nuts. But ya Go Bills!!!
  2. Correction: I meant Chambers might not have much experience or none at all at "LT"
  3. Chambers might not have much experience or none at all at RT. They have "some" O-line chemistry right now. Right now is too late to mess with that for the Seattle game. They will test and see if Chambers can somewhat handle Kerney. If he has trouble then they'll just keep Royal on the line to help block.
  4. On paper we should win this game. But something tells me it will be a challenge. Even though Seattle has pretty much no receivers, Hasselbeck will probably be able to have some decent drives passing. Their D is pretty darn good. Even though they are missing two starters on D. It will prolly be a close game. I hope Trent is on target like he was against the Steelers. It will be rought tho against Seattle's pass rush. We really should win this game. I hope we do, we really need this win to start off the season. A loss won't ruin our season by any means at all, but we really need a win.
  5. Anyone here play fantasy football? And if so, What Bills players did u draft? I have Lynch, Evans, Edwards, Hardy, and Bills Defense/Special Teams. The Only person anyone in my 12 man league gave any respect for was Lynch. Everone else, including Evans was overlooked. I think they all made a big mistake. To my good fortune
  6. lol, ok um y is there a thread on Ray Lewis on here? If we r gonna bag on anyone, y not magahee?
  7. Gah! U guys in Buffalo r so lucky!! I'm one of the few Bills fans in Central Cali. What it would be like to be in a pub full of Bills fans during game day. Or at the Ralph tailgating! I have yet to be at a Bills Backers club in Cali. One day. But honestly anyone in Buffalo should consider yourselves so fortunate. I've never been to the city but the Bills run through my blood nonetheless. Go Bills!!!
  8. Now if I could only find more Bills fans in Cali. I think i'm the Only one in SLO county!! If the injury bug doesn't strike us again, then we'll do fine this year. We should make the playoffs as a wild card. And we better win at least one game in the playoffs. Just making the playoffs and bowing out in round one just won't do. Our goal should be the Super Bowl! Having a goal of just making it to the playoff's just isn't right.
  9. Yep yep, Fairchild definitely wasn't fond of our O. U might have something going there. If perhaps we had his alter ego, Unfairadult commandeering out offense then we couldn't have done any worse. ahhh yes silly humor. I'm on my 7th beer for 2nite so u will have to forgive me. Fairchild must have been one of the most dull and unimaginative OC's in NFL history. We should do ok with Schonert. Go Bills!!!!
  10. Peters would have quite a learning experience (for the better) if he decided to read this board. It certainly couldn't hurt! Silly Jason Peters. He's 26. He's young. He still has much to learn apparently. He's lucky some Bills fans will still give him a chance. Very lucky.
  11. It's mean to say, but ya Wilfork has it coming.
  12. As much as we would like him to play in a week, it won't happen. At least it shouldn't happen. Even if he's in shape, he won't be in "game shape." And it takes a while to get into game shape. One week of practice won't cut it. Also he will need to learn the new offense. If the coaches put him in only after one week of practice, then that will be a mistake. They should do it right, and I believe they will. Give him a good two weeks to get in shape and get the plays down. Then he'll get the groove back and be the playmaker we need. Rushing things too fast could lead to mistakes on the field and possibly an injury that would have been avoidable. I'm glad Peters is back! He still acted like an ass and I hope he realizes this. Maybe some of his teammates will give him the idea that he could have handled this situation much better than he did. He better get his head screwed on straight for now on and get to work!
  13. Yes, we're a little weaker with Ellison in to take over Crowell. But not by much. I also doubt Crowell would be back next year anyway. No Peters, fine we'll keep moving forward. No Crowell, fine we'll keep on moving. This is no where near how bad it was last year with all the guys in IR. We're still in fine position compared to the past several years. Next year I hope we address the two remaining big weaknesses on the team. We need a new stud center and stud linebacker to replace Ellison's new starting position. Go Bills!! And Demetrius Bell, you better turn into the monster in a few years that we all hope u will.
  14. LOL! Hilarious. If only Peters would do that. And then dump his agent.
  15. Everyone knows it was Japan. lol. he just wanted to see if anyone noticed.
  16. jarthur31, that Teddy Roosevelt speech is incredible. I had to save it. Peter's should read it. It would be interesting if he has been reading this board.
  17. Peter's truely is being an idiot right now. If he comes back to the team and plays, he Better make amends to the rest of the Bills. He surely isn't being a team player. ugh, how frustrating! Let's hope Eugene Parker really doesn't sign the entire Bill's O-line.
  18. Even if Peters shows up any day now in shape, he won't be in "game shape." That will take time. Perhaps a few weeks until he is ready to go for a full 4 quarters. Plus there's a new offensive system in place now and that most likely means different line calls than last season. So he'll need time to learn these calls as well. On another note, i know i've read this before from someone else's post. Eugene Parker, stay away from Demetrius Bell!
  19. What a relief, the Bill's cuts are in! I think they did a good job. Not an easy job though. I'm glad they kept Omon over Wright. It's hard cutting a 4th rounder though.
